Ship Class Units
Ship class units are just that, massive ships used for transporting things, or for large assaults. There are Two different types of Ships which are Cruisers and Battle ships. Cruisers are ship used to carry mobile suits/equipment/supplies, and are not as heavily equipped as there Battle ship counter parts. They do have have fairly large armaments, but built more defensively than offensively. Battle ships are the opposite, built light and for speed, and armed to the teeth with massive heavy grade weapons. These ships are not to be taken lightly as a direct attack will surely be suicide, like rushing straight at a sniper rifle barrel.
Cruisers: Can come in three different size classes and are equipped, by size class. The following is the profile for the Ships classes, equipment, and defensive capabilities. Instead of EB (evasion bonous) Ships have AB (armor bonus) which determine how hard it is to damage the ships.

Ship Combat
Like basic combat when first starting combat you must place where the ship is located on the map, and must take up the required area of its size, and it acts as a obstruction and unit cannot move on to the obstructed area, nor can the ship move if it cant occupy its full sized area. To determine ships movement always use the top left square to determine where the ship travels to. Ship combat is fairly simple, if its in range shot at it, if you pass the AB of the ship it takes damage, if you dont...your puny attack bounces off like its a flicked paper football. To determine there attack, its just like any other unit, pick target, announce weapon, roll, higher then EB hits and do your damage.
Advanced: Much like mobile suit combat, you can pick targets such as. Control deck, Main cannon, Secondary cannon, Secondary weapons, Defense weapons, and Propulsion. Much like normal combat if your aiming at a part and not the body if you get a 20 that part is automatically destroyed, or calculate each part as have 1/3 of the max AP of the ship. If its a weapon and its destroyed obviously it cannot fire if its destroyed. As well as The ship cannot scan or use defensive equipment if the Control deck is destroyed, and like wise it cannot move if the ships Propulsion is destroyed. So you can destroy make destroying those monster Heavy Carriers a breeze by blasting the weapons off them, then just take a free ride and blast away at them till they finally sink.
