Caseyxxxxxx Zierden
[Enter from Xavier's Office]
Casey, probably needless to say now, was still impressed at just the size of the place. They moved down a few halls, past some doors, yadda yadda. All the while, the poor boy couldn't help but think he was bound to get lost here. At least it should make for some nice exploring. Who knew what he could find in a place like this. Besides, what a better way to find your way around than if you get lost a few times. Next thing he knew though, as they walked past some doors, was that Smithy was pushing his head down just before something shot and above their heads. That was great. To think Casey was figuring he wouldn't need to be on guard with his powers here. That now that he was away from all the lovely folks back home, he wouldn't need to worry about things being thrown at him. Apparently it would be worse now though. He was in a place where everyone - scratch that - almost everyone had powers. The young Canadian had a feeling that before long, the use of his powers would be first nature to him. No thinking about it or anything, just using as if they were something he had been using since birth. Of course, that time would be a good ways off.
There were some steps to climb even, on this trip. Smithy finally stopped and showed him to his room. It seemed Casey would be lucky, due to his age, and be granted one of the upper floor rooms. The ones meant for older kids who (typically) have been there a while. Well, Casey was an older kid, but he was also knew. Apparently they had faith in him to follow the rules at least and behave. It would be odd however, to share the room. He wasn't sure who his roommate was at the moment and the guy wasn't there. Something about being an only child, you didn't need to worry about other kids being in your space, sharing things with, or simply bothering. Casey had no clue how he would manage sharing a room with someone, but at least he was away from those that he use to call friends back home.
Moving to the side which had no decorations at all, he dropped his duffel on the floor and slung his pack onto the bed. "Alright Smithy! Will that phone call be possible, or is there more to the tour before I can call and then meet the people here?" Casey gave Smithy a smile and waited his answer.

☮xxx εℓisε нεηriεttα кℓεiηxxx☮ вut yøu cαη cαℓℓ мε ▪ ▪ ▪xxxS p o o kxxxx Elise groaned as she locked her knees and fell effortlessly back onto her bed. "What I wouldn't give right now for a cigarette..." Her head pounded because she hadn't smoked for nearly three days, her body going through a withdrawal. Her pale blue eyes gazing at the ceiling and studying the lines of the white tiles above her.
Her room didn't have as many ammenities as many of the students her age had. Of course, it was nearly impossible to get away with anything in this place considering a handfull of the students and even the Professor could read your mind. If anything at all was stressing you out it was inevitable that it be found out. Elise's behavior is increasingly self-destructive, so action was taken and she was repramanded by a downgrade in her room. Elise fought back, arguing against the move, but ultimately lost the battle.
She sat up, pulling her dark hair into a low ponytail. Elise made her way to the door in hopes of finding someone to hang with or something to do. She wouldn't even mind watching a whole afternoon's worth of cartoons downstairs. Whatever she was to do, she didn't want to get into any more trouble than she was in currently. After all, she didn't want to get sent home to her even stricter parents because she was doing drugs and drinking. That'd be embarassing.❝The ghosts you chase you never catch.❞

Closing it as Casey stood in his room, questioning him. -"Oh,"- Smithy adjusted the glasses he had slipped on while Casey went into the room. -"Well, Skylar, you just saw her in the Professor's Office, she was the one I was hoping would help you make the call. She's got the powers that would assist in your calling, let's just say."- He explained, repositioning himself so that he was leaning on the door frame as well as to face Casey. -"I'm sure you could use the school phone if need be. If you have a cell phone, that's fine too. I just might need to give you a chip to replace your sim card with. Just for security reasons."- He let the boy know. The "security reasons" included those gifted peoples, such as Skylar, who had the ability to hack into technology, and then the government who recorded, tapped, and listened in on every conversation done over phone. It was to keep their location secured information. _____Noticing a few students peer out of their doors and into the hallways, teh sound and "smell" of a new student lingering about the halls, Michael laid his eyes on Elise, also known as Spook. ☮xxx εℓisε нεηriεttα кℓεiηxxx☮ вut yøu cαη cαℓℓ мε ▪ ▪ ▪xxxS p o o kxxxx At hearing her name, Elise moved her head in the voice's direction to see Smithy. "Hey!" she shouted from a few doors down the hall. Her eyes glanced to the blond boy beside him. He was unfamiliar to her so she figured he was new. "Fresh meat?" she asked, motioning to Casey. She hadn't really had fun with anyone since she had gotten into trouble, afraid she'd be a bad influence on them, but she was glad to see Smithy and the new kid in the hall.
Making her way towards them, Elise extended her right hand towards Casey, smirking as she introduced herself, "I'm Elise Klein. If you want, though, you can call me Spook." She kept her hand extended, waiting for him to grab it and shake it. "What brings you to Mutant Manor?" she asked, though it was obvious that she didn't need to. She was partly hoping for a demonstration of what this guy could do, but figured he might be a bit nervous to show whatever it was off. After all, when she first arrived at the mansion, she felt nervous when folks would ask her to show her power. To most, though it'd just appear that she fell asleep all of a sudden, considering most couldn't see her in her astral form anyway.❝The ghosts you chase you never catch.❞

Caseyxxxxxx Zierden
Casey thought about the idea of that one girl from Xavier's office being the one he'd have to ask for the phone call. Well, if she usually wasn't like that it wouldn't be that bad of a thing to do. If she was though, well then Casey wasn't so sure about it. Ah well, "Well, if I had a cell phone I wouldn't need to ask to use the phone. Still, I'll make sure to hunt that girl down later!" Casey said with a smile. What would they have done if he did have a cell phone and it was a brand that didn't use sim cards?
Oh, well no need to question that now. Smithy was suddenly calling someone else over. Why her, he had no clue. Maybe to start him off on introductions. "Casey Zierden," he responded, while shaking her hand gently with a smile. The girl looked about his age, which he was starting to wonder if everyone would appear to be about his age. Dark hair, skinny body, and about half a foot shorter than him. She didn't look like she had a lot of muscle though, but that didn't quite mean she wasn't athletic. "As for what brings me here, I suppose the same reason as everyone else." Yeah, he wasn't picking up on the idea that she wanted to see a demonstration of powers. " So, why do they call you Spook?" Oh it was a question for Casey. He still hadn't figured out that people here had a nickname based on their powers.

Michael ;; "Smithy" ;; Evans. Assistant Technical Manager for the X-Men. Currently;; Talking with Casey // Hyperion && Elise // Spook in the Dorms. [From;; Xavier's Office]_____Michael continued to look down at the device in his hands while the two spoke. His crooked grin slowly manifested itself onto his lips as Casey questioned her nickname. He could blurt out random facts about the female and how it came so that she had received her name, but he wouldn't ruin her fun. Not just yet. -"Yeah,"- Came his late response as he looked up from the hologram he had just produced. With his brown eyes flickering between Elise and Casey and the text of the hologram, he passively nodded and motioned for Elise to demonstrate her powers. -"I've not a problem. So long as you don't produce EMG's that will mess up my machines."- He told her, knowing that she was going to question if it was okay before she did anything.
With Casey's abilities, though, he'd probably be able to take care of himself, right? He'd have to bring the kid to Skylar sooner or later... Preferably sooner, but he knew that the business that Skylar and the Professor had was serious. Especially since she never told Kitty or Smithy anything about it. He was really worried. _____Walking over to the wall parallel to the one with the door he had just been leaning on, Casey's dorm door, Smithy watched with a grin, awaiting Spook's demonstration and Casey's response. You know, just in case Casey went crazy and decided to produce random blasts.
