description: Apollo is god of the sun and a child of Zeus and Leto. he is twin to Artemis of the moon and is well known for his oracle at delphi and for playing the lyre. his exploits include siring Aesculapius, who brought men back from the dead, giving midas the midas touch and donkey ears, and more. he was also the god of prophecy

description of character: Artemis is the Goddess of the Moon and the daughter of Leto and Zeus, She is the twin sister to Apollo god of the Sun. She is best known for her hunting skills and choosing to be an eternal virgin. One of her better known exploits would be turning the hunter Actaeon into a deer and letting his own hounds hunt him down because he caught her bathing.

description of character: Hestia is the eldest god child of Kronos and Rhea (apparently they had monsters for kids before gods, so I'm making it clear), godess of the home and hearth. Hestia is known for choosing to pursue a life of eternal maidenhood and upon growing tired of the Olympians' petty squabbles, leaving Olympus to do some real good (tending the sacred fire of Olympus [PJO heart of the Western flame anyone?]), and leaving her council seat to Dionysus. I forgot who said it, but I quote: "You kiddies go play with your toy mortals, big sissy Hestia has a fire to tend." This about sums up Greek Mythology, but of course no disrespect intended to the other Greek gods I admire.

Eros
God of Male Love
Eros has a special place in the pantheon of Gods in Greek mythology. He is worshipped as the Greek God of male love as he was the patron of lust, love, sex and fertility. He is also the primeval deity who embodied the force of passionate love between males, which is known as homoeroticism. That is to say, he was one of the first deities to support homosexual relationships between men and adolescent male youth. In fact, the word 'erotic' finds its roots in his name.
Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of love and beauty, (with whom he is often associated) is Eros' mother. She represented heterosexual love, that is to say, she stood for men's love for women. Eros was also worshipped as the Greek God of education along with Athena. It is because of his depiction as a gay deity that his statue is found in the palaestras, a place where homosexual men used to gather and associate with their partners. He is also known as Eleutherios, or 'the liberator'.

She's Loki's daughter but was banned by the Aesir to Helheim. Her body is half that of a living woman and half a skeleton. She's the sister of fenrir and Jormugandr. In Helhaim she lives in the Eliudnir-hall with Ganglati and Ganglot as her servants.
