But I actually think it came out okay...for a remake.

They did... in the old version the girl did in a river by a gunshot from the bad guy in this one the girl stay alive ...
I wonder which one would be better this one or the old version... i havent seen the remake razz

its a good movie in my own personal opinion, it got really twisted at the end i was like s**t wasnt expecting that!!!

good plot and idea, i have the original one but havent watched it, i should tho heard it was just as good ^_^

I actually haven't seen the film but from what i have seen on the teasers I think your right.
I have the original film and even for the original film they never put in every scene because it was to horrifying for people I don't even know if there is anywhere that would sell a total uncut version of that film but anyway that film was pretty hard to duplicate with everything horrid that went on in that film I think that with a remake they couldn't possibly capture the same emotions people got when they first witnessed that film.

plus the music they used for the film was pretty good for each brutal attack that happened.

I have not seen the original but I really liked this film, I loved the concept of it...
