How sad. We don't have a Macy's within the city limits at least, and none of the stores here carry it. I mean really, we couldn't even keep the Disney Store here from packing up and moving when the economy started sucking rotten eggs. But alas, it seems to be true, we have no ESPN Zone, Macy's, or MAC stores....or Waldenbooks/Borders for that matter. Now how tragic is that? crying

Man, that sucks...
Well, we have those stores, and a lot of restaurants...
They pretty much made my city a tourist attraction in these economic times,
come here instead of traveling far, far away...
So things like the Sanrio store and the awesome arcade we used to have in the mall are gone...

Well one of our malls has actually been turned into a business complex for insurance companies... I liked that mall because they had an ice skating rink, coffee shop, and a lot of fun stores like Goodys, Afterthoughts, Claires and Footlocker. There's nothing left now but GNC and another is filing for bankruptcy xp

I avoid eBay like the plague. Not because I've had a bad experience, but because there's just. too. much. I get overwhelmed as soon as the home page loads!

I say go for it, though!

I love to buy clothes on Etsy. It's a site like eBay but targeted at all handmade/vintage items. It is so much fun stepping into a 50 year old dress, it adds so much fun to getting dressed when I feel like I'm wearing history!

I love vintage, though around here it's impossible to find and ebay is rather intimidating since it seems like a pain in the arse since I'm allergic to getting ripped off.
