Why do they spend so much time coming up with characters, story, and gameplay... And then stick Sonic in it? Is it taboo to come up with new IPs now?

The Undead Suitor Why do they spend so much time coming up with characters, story, and gameplay... And then stick Sonic in it? Is it taboo to come up with new IPs now? Eh They are going to allow other characters in it in fact you can play as blaze,knuckles,and shadow.And they stick others in there so they can act as other people from the tails from the story.Like in the secret ring's tails was ali baba and knuckles was Sindbad.And I think it was because people were starting to hate on shadow and any new characters they added(Aka silver) so they probably decided to focus on sonic for awhile.

You totally missed suitors point there. Those characters and story looked pretty interesting in that trailer, up until sonic fell through the portal, he meant new characters that have nothing to do with sonic, and you need to shut the hell up about him, every post you make has something about him in it.
