Frosting sluggishly followed Recca to see what she was up to. It was hard to tell what she was staring at from a far away distance. As Frosting approached at a steady pace, she accidentally tripped on a muddy pebble sending her flying across the field, crashing into something not so pleasant along the way.

Ilisia nearly lost sight of her new friend as she seemed oblivious to her surroundings but quickly enough noticed the quickly moving nian. Whipping around it took a few seconds for the young nian to realize that Recca had gone into a mad dash and left. This upset the nian and she ran after her friend with a loyalty that was naively touching. When she did come across the other female she realized that maybe following so blindly after her might not be a good idea. "Recca? Wh...wh..who's this?"

Reccabeth had thought exactly the same thing. "Yeah, who are you?" she mewed, sounding more confident than she felt. The wild nian stood and took in the new arrivals. His body was poised as if to dash away at any sound. Recca thought it strange. The nian and the humans had a treaty. That's why they lived with the humans as equals and even part of the family. Sometimes more of an exchange student or a foster child, but still part of the family. This nian seemed to have different ideals.
"What's the matter with you?" Maybe he'd had a bad encounter with humans who'd mistaken him for an animal. He probably didn't even belong to a court or a human domain. An unbound nian with no ties, and brought up far from the society that separated them from the other sentient beasts.
Recca turned to her tame friends to see their reaction. She didn't see the wild one silently begin to slink away.

After Frosting scramble back to her feet to join her fellow nians, she stared blankly at the wild nian. She fluffed her vividly colored of fur as she approaches to one of them. "Maybe this nian is another breed so they don't understand us," Frosting suggested,"If we try a more friendly greeting, we might be able to receive some of their background info."

"Hey wait where you goin? Come back!" The naturally friendly and naive nian bounced over to the wild one trying to keep him from leaving so soon. "We aren't bad really we aren't! We like to have fun and play around but we're not bad! Right guys?" Turing to her friends Ilisia hoped they would back her up.

Reccabeth rolled her eyes at the naive nian she was surrounded by. No, we're only terrible." She dashed over to the slinking nian and pinned him down. "Where do you think you're going, eh? "Away from tame creatures like you," he replied, flipping over to swipe at Recca's face. But Recca knew what that he would and stepped back.

Frosting started to feel somewhat uncomfortable as she focus on the two nians. She wanted to join the battle along with Recca, but figured it was best to sit out. Frosting needed to calm Recca down and fast! If this continues on like this, someone is bound to get hurt. She used her fur to blind both of the nians to stunt their eyes for a moment, hoping the chaos will end.

Oh well she hadn't been expecting that! "Guys please don't fight!" Whimpering slightly Ilisia decided to stay out of it, Recca had started this fight and even if she was Ilisia's friend that didn't mean the spiked nian had to agree with what the other did.

Reccabeth pounced on the intruder again, holding his head between her paws like a cat and hissing. Then Frosting shifted and the light reflected off her coat into their eyes. "Frost!" Recca exclaimed. She hissed and turned to avoid the brightness. The wild nian had been so startled by the sudden flash, he fled as soon as the female had loosened her hold.
Recca scowled at her loss. "What was that for?" she whined.

"Recca, violence doesn't solve a thing dear. Someone can get seriously injured!" Frosting said as she carefully tucked in her luminous fur. She checked to see if the wild nian left any scars on Recca and Illisia.

Blinking her own eyes Ilisia shook her head. Though the rays hadn't been intended for her they still left bright spots that messed with her vision. "I'm fine Frost...besides the sun spots in my eyes." Giggling at her little joke she got serious after a bit and turned to Recca. "Why'd you go and fight with him for? That wasn't very nice......"
