The officer smiled. It was an ugly, evil smile. His teeth were perfectly white, and his eyes showed a dark glee, as if someone had just told a cynical joke.
"I came in here, to question you three about a stolen car, but you pulled a knife on me. You all attacked me at once. I had no choice but to shoot you." He pulled back the hammer of the gun, and fired straight at Rudy.

Rudy didn't have time to react. The gunshot didn't hit him straight on, it hit him on the side of the ribs. He could still breathe, so that meant it didn't puncture a lung, but there was blood all around him. His eyes widened when the shock wore off and he realized.
"This is my blood... I could die... I could die..."
He was hit by another wave of shock. He couldn't talk, he couldn't move, later he would be amazed that he could even breathe. All he could do was stare dumbly and the growing pool of blood on the floor.

"Damn," he said, reloading, "now I have to think of an explanation for why I shot you a second time." He took aim again. This time, he wouldn't miss.

Skylar went to Rudy immediately the officer was thrown against a wall by some force of magic. "Hang on I can heal you" she said to him. She ran a hand over the wound this would hurt him but he'd have to suffer if he wanted to live. The bullet went back through the wound where it lodged into his body and came out into her hand. Then the wound healed up making it lok brand new. "You okay?" she asked him and Joe.

She looked over at David "Come help me move him before he realizes whats happening"!

"Right." He said, acting quickly. First, he threw a dart that knocked the gun across the room, then, he ran and picked up Rudy and started running for the door. "Come on, we should be safe in Domainia!"

She grabbed hold of Davids hand and took to the sky, she flew kinda slow compared to what she speed she usually flew at.
