I really like his stuff on "Portrait of an American Family." if you ever find that album, GET IT! It's more of their punk rock days... Hell I'll give you a sample from it.

Marylin Manson is a band? O.o I thought it was just one guy. Haha...I've heard things about him...and I didn't like what I heard. But...honestly I've never listened to any of music. One song, but, I can't remember what it sounds like! I'm afraid to listen to more...I don't want any disturbing music videos or lyrics. Skillet (My favourite band--Besides Nirvana--) wrote a song called "Rippin' Me Off" and that was about Marilyn Manson. I read the story about it on a website, and it was like...mean what he was saying. But, I can't judge too much. ><

As late a reply as it is, I'd have to disagree with you SAS Noizemaker.
People can appreciate music without such an attitude. I can only assume that the 'Dark, satanic' stereotype came from the people who didn't appreciate his work, and wanted some form of propaganda against it.
