KitaWarheit Hey I was looking around, how do you make your posts look nice? I mean, is there a skeleton I can use to make it look rather nicer than just text? A few pictures do wonders for post styles. I usually just center a big (ish) pic on top and maybe stick another pic on the left or right. Sometimes, people use [ list ] and [ b, i, u ] to decorate the text itself; look up any BBCode guide for help on these and more. Corner-shaped posts (the ones that look like upside-down L's) are basically two pics--the top (horizontal) part of the L is aligned left and the bottom (vertical) part is also aligned left (imgleft) with no gap/Enter space in between to keep that seamless corner look. Phrases or lyrics appear as decorative wording above the first pic and below the last words of their posts; see Cheren in Rustboro City for an example. I personally find lyrics to be a pain in the rear, so I don't use them much. Cheren's post style was actually my most difficult because not only did I use semi-witty original phrases (not lyrics!), I also had to align them and a dozen pictures precisely. Such tedium is why unlike most others, I do not add graphics and HP bars to my posts when battling. Feel free to quote us (but don't repost our RP posts!) to see how we code our layouts. If you want to see how I make post styles, visit Nintendoids in my sig. Alternatively, you can commission me for a post style at my art shop, also in my sig. Be warned; I won't be able to draw anything for you since I have no scanner here. Aww, yeah; resident post style experts... biggrin I got five posts done (1 PM, 2 forum, and 2 guild) today since I've no classes, but I really have to read my long-*ss reading assignment due tomorrow (and I begin to think I misread it...), so I aim to post here on Thursday. To make up for my stalling, I'll get us to Rusturf and perhaps set up the battle. Wanna do 2 on 2; one of each of our Pokes vs 2 of the Team's? Wait, what about Tajiri? And you know I get carried away easily while writing (but then again, an NPC I'm not attached to should be less prone to such). Wouldn't want me to intimidate the young'uns, right? XD;;

I can make you one for free 3nodding Allow me to welcome you to the guild ^^ My name is J_D and I play Wes in this story. If there's any way I can be of assistance, don't hesitate to contact me or one of the other VC's. We will certainly do our best to clear up anything that appears hazy. First thing we'll need from you is a character pro, once you read through everything of course. Hope to see you in game soon!

Oh, you--! *begins playful insult war* biggrin Probably, yes. It might be a good idea to keep the new peeps one city/town behind the leaders (us for now) since they'll need some time to train/adjust to this system. It'll get interesting when, for instance, we're in Verdanturf and they're in Rustboro, since they'll need to backtrack to train before battling the Gym Leader. (Will make for interesting battle convos. biggrin ) Perhaps after/approaching Dewford, their starters should arrive at higher levels (maybe 5/6 as strong as the Leader's strongest). I wonder if they should be evolved? Starters do learn unique moves late in their basic stage...

If we raise the starter levels a bit with every new city, then they'll be that much closer to evolving anyways. Pre-learned egg moves past a certain point might be a possibility. Was going to correct myself and say Rustboro, but you're right they should have some time to practice and level up before Roxanne.

Guess who (else) got Pokemon X?!? 8D (Guess who's not going to be studying for midterms! 8D)
Little depressed that they only have 3 models for the hero. There are no 'Asian' heroes available, so I went with the dark-skinned, dark-haired girl that could be interpreted as African, Filipina, or Latina. XD
If you have or could get a 3DS, which version would you get and why?

I totally got Y the night it came out ^^ had to buy a 3DS too, but that was the original plan anyway. Loving Pokémon Y, so much to say about it in my view. Would give a pros/cons list, but might be too long, lol

And then another friend here told me her area got X/Y based on gender XD Congrats on the 3DS! Loving it so far? I'd ask for your FC, but for whatever reason, my 3DS can't use my school's Wifi for Internet gaming. I can use the Internet itself, but not that. :/
