A lot of OOC is done.
Though other than the 'big threads', there are a lot in here that only a few people RP in. Guldor, for one, is just being used for plot arcs. Shadow Island is Maxi's private residence and/or the place he kidnaps people to for kicking off plot arcs. Sorrow's Keep is the HQ of the Necromatic Council.
There's also been a decline in "get IC and do some s**t", since a lot of people have been concentrating on plot and story posting, moving things along in order to develop character and weave that wonderful web that we call story.
And Vahn is a Marvel Comic hero. They just haven't picked him up yet. Give it a couple of years and you'll be buying "The Goddamn Vahn" off of comic store shelves.

It destroys IC activity, but keeps the Roleplayers around to eventually post when they get in the mood. Still, even with the lack of "get IC and do some s**t", I'd prefer all the stories being developed here to a thousand in Commerce or the FFA. I will be buying the GoddamnedVahn and advertising.
