"Cruisers are made to fit only one Project, you know that James. Their massive scale entails that and to possibly have the two projects in one cruiser would mean one of them would have to cut down considerably...besides...can't move Echoes between cruisers as easily as we move between them." Scientific thinking was a downer sometimes really.

Though at least he got a bit of emotion out of her over mentioning her Echoes used as weapons. "The majority wouldn't be used as weapons...just killed off. No one can possibly really control them but me...well, no one of normal human standards anyway. Deemed dangerous." Yes, distaste in her voice over that one.

And perhaps even more when he mentioned that Radiance wasn't the pristine place it often strutted around showing itself as. He even got a hint of smile and a small shake of her head. "Sometimes I think you can find out way too much about people James Moira. Quick, what's my favorite flavor of ice cream?"

"My my, aren't you the observant one." Good god, he got a slight laugh out of her. But she did kiss him back when he leaned over and kissed her, perhaps showing a bit of actual response to anyone since earlier where she had more or less gone on 'cruise control' meaning she was there physically, but not there really.

"I think I'd like your word as a civilian over a soldier, James." What? She liked him better when 'his civilian was showing', he was much less rigid and a lot more fun really. Then that little forlorn look back to him. "Promise me that I won't have to go back to Earth either....the Trevale family got taken down just to me, no need to have the job finished..." A little more hint at what had bothered her so bad on her MAPS that night.

"Boy, doesn't that just sound oh so peachy. Welcome to the less than gilded cage on earth." Though she sighed, seemingly relaxing into him as he took to holding her. Truth be told, that was one of her favorite things, to just be held. And it was in short supply in Fleet land dating.

Then she let out a slight laugh again. "Is it wrong that I find your wanting to maim people and careers for me endearing?"

She in turn lightly laced her arms around him, hands holding lightly to each other and resting in the small of his back. "I thought you wanted to live in that little place in Colorado. You know, the mountain spot you found that wasn't the easiest accessible place? That would be way better than any base and probably safer than thousands of troops. After all, who wants to trek all that territory that badly for a little distaste?"

"You assume one couldn't acquire such technology in such a remote place. It's possible...not easy but possible." But she shrugged lightly and took his answer as he gave it. Usually she would fight about it, but she just didn't have the fight in her right now.

Another shrug. "Shouldn't talk of it anyway, we're not going anywhere off this Fleet and out of space anyway. Or rather, I hope it never comes to that. Hell if I had to I'd find a way to get my hands on my own personal space craft and convert it to home standards."

"I swear you're like a parent who wants to go check on their child every hour on their first day of school..." Then again she had no room to talk, in her own beginnings of it all, she was quite hovery too. But she would oblige him and pulled back, taking hold of his biowear hand and pulling at him. "Come on then, we'll go check on it ourselves. Besides, I need to check timers and probably do some printouts on it for filing anyway."

A slow leisurely walk along the high catwalks then, along the complex and back down to the halls that lead back to the labs. Coding her way into the specific lab that only she had access to, save for Erik's override code in case something happened to her.

"Yes, yes you are." She let go of him as she coded another door, leading back into that little incubation room and making her way over to where the ever growing cerberus was. A few clicks at to the accompanying computer to bring up screens of statistics, timers, environment monitors and the like.

"No, not yet. Close though." Computer told her that and she went about clicking on the touch screen, changing certain aspects that she felt would help promote better results than the current ones, and also ran programs that gave her estimates. "Perhaps another two or three days. A week at tops."

Jelena rolled her eyes slightly, a little less enthusiastic about it all then usual, but like James had said earlier, at least there was a little more life showing in her. "Basically, yes. And no dear, can't tell anything yet. But if you look at it in the right light, that's a fun thing. Makes it all the more of a surprise don't you think?" Curious indeed wasn't he?

"You'd want to do the regeneration test first if you wanted to instill it into the hydra, or you can simply do the hydra first if you're not dead set on the regeneration thing. Have to decide that first."
