Give it a few months. Sales should slow down slightly, and you should be able to grab it, along with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. OMFG does that game look awesome. If anything, that's one of the only reasons I want a Wii.

Same here, although my only problem is that that whole "wait" thing was never my strong point. sweatdrop

Intriguing way of looking at the craft. Perhaps some gentle prodding is needed?

I've been trying to move it along. I feel closer than I have before, but I'm still a few steps away. I need to call around and ask about credit cards since it'll take me a long time to get to the point I want to be at money-wise to buy the damn thing. I have most of the money saved up, so I'll pay off what I can and pay the rest slowly. That way I can finally build up a credit record, and I won't have to wait as long to buy the camcorder. Thanks for the encouragement.

No trouble. I always like to give people what they need, to chase their dreams.

On an unrelated subject, is it weird to feel withdrawal symptom, without ever having had beer or any drugs?

No, I don't think so. I've been in moods where I've craved things I've never tasted or felt like I needed a cigarette, even though I'm allergic. sweatdrop I think I know what you mean, and I guess, according to Chikushou, it is or was your birthday. If that's the case, happy birthday! How old are you turning?

20, and to be honest, OL people made me feel more special and significant than IRL ones managed to. Kinda sad, but at least I know I have good friends here.

Indeed! (I am 20 also.) I don't have too many friends on Gaia; I prefer real life buddies, but I have met some amazing people on Gaia all the same. biggrin

Yes, there are good people, on either side of the connection. I treasure my OL and IRL friends equally, but with a lot of my real life friends moving away, or already gone, I find the net to be increasingly important, in keeping myself connected to them.

That's understandable. Quite a few of my close friends live far away. I live with one of them, another is a thirty- to forty-minute drive away, and the rest are an hour's drive or more away. As annoying as MySpace is, it helps me stay in contact with a lot of my friends since many of them aren't very reachable via the phone, lol. Sometimes I think it will be a while before I can move away and sever my ties with my town. I'm really attached to the people and way of life here and don't think I'll be moving away (like other side of the country away) until a few of my close buddies can go with me. Hopefully I can start my freelance film making here and gradually establish notoriety through local work and films released online.

Ahh, is there anything you'd want your works to be known for?

Happy burfday, Koi. Mah burfday's coming soon, and I'll be 22. I was told today that I look 30. gonk

Then I showed the girl a picture of when I was 15, and told her that if I shave I look just like that. She told me that she wanted to scan it, keep it and put it on the internet, because it was so damn cute. gonk

I have lots of ideas. I hope to hit 100 by this summer. They're versatile; some are old style, some completely different, some are renditions of things you'd never recognize. Not to sound arrogant, but I'd love to be the person that changed the way films were made. In the 1960s, the French New Wave changed film all over the world thanks to just a small handful of film directors. Very little is original now; it's difficult to find a movie that's not based off something. However, not every remake or comic-turned-movie is bad, but I'd like to show people something they've never seen. I want to make numerous films with various scenarios that play out different possibilities and philosophies about life, people, and what makes the world. My goal is really to add something to this world, and film is a tremendously powerful and uniting art form.

Hmm, so you seek for your films to do more than entertain?

Yes, but I suppose everyone wants to change the world. It's just the method they choose to do so, and this was the one that called to me. I want to entertain, but I also feel like I'm bringing stories and characters to life to demonstrate something greater relative to an aspect of life or humanity. I want to be versatile but meaningful.
