Alex took Rosie over towards the corner of the room and pulled out a chair that didn't look like it was about ready to fall apart. "You alright, kid?" she asked, sitting Rosie down in the chair.

Rosie didn't answer. She kept her attention on Warp and Shadow. Alex took a glance back at the two as well. Warp had most of the cards out of her, and it looked like her burn was nearly healed. He'd probably take care of the cards in her leggs next, then heall all of those cuts up. He probably had a small bit of his attention on her missing limb as well. Keeping it from bleedint too much until he could turn his full attention towards it.
"Don't worry. She'll be fine. Warp will make sure she doesn't..." she said, turning back to Rosie, then stopped when she heard something screeching outside again. It wasn't near as loud as the last screech had been, but it was still a bit odd. It was a bat, that was certain. But...it just all of a sudden sounded like it was having a fit.



One of the bats flying throughout the city had caught the scent of blood again, and sure enough had found where the group had been hiding. It flew above the building and started calling out for the rest of the group, flying around the building in a circle.

Maddy looked at the twin and said "Warp happeded. I need to go into the clothing shop then we will find a place to stay the night because alex left us for the bat teen that is a bat kid right now." Then Maddy turned and walked to the nearest shop.

"Can I help you?"

"Umm Yes do you have any gray material?"

"Yes coming right up"

About the time the food arrived, Sapphire emerged from the bathroom. She tried to look as normal as possible, but she really didn't know how to feel at the moment. And she really didn't want to think about it either. She'd slept with someone who...and then instant...twins...relationship...way too much to think about at once.
She glanced over and spotted the food, then smiled slightly. She was hungry though. Just consentrate on food for a while.




The screeching soon became worse. Sounded like there...must have been dozens of them out now.
"Hey, kiddo. You um..." could have her go by Warp. But she looked almost heartbroken looking at Shadow. Couldn't really have her go closer to get a better look at how bad she was. "...wanna go over to that chair over there for a bit?" she asked, pointing to a chair close to Warp. "I need to go check on something outside."

Rosie glanced up at her a moment, then knodded and made her way over to the chair. Rather slowly.

Alex waited for her to get situated, then carefully and quietly made her way out of the building to see just what was going on outside.

Alex carefully made her way out of the building and moved to a spot in the alley where she could see. Bats...lots and lots of bats. Well, shouldn't be a problem. She had plenty to think about to get ticked at again. Just up her power and torch them all.
As she started thinking about her previous run-in with Blackstone, the bats started acting a bit odd. Well, odder than what they were acting now. A couple of them began flying into the side of the building, each other, and some just flew off.

Vice had hidden his blade in his jacket again, and casually made his way down the streets. He was careful to try and find the less crowded ones, taking detores and cutting through alleys if he had to. No need to soil his blade again. Plus he was getting tired of all this walking. Perhaps he should just find someone with a nice Harley and stand by them for a bit. He'd be sure to be able to 'borrow' it for quite a time.

Something in the sky caught his eye, though he couldn't quite make out what it was. Something flying around a building. His curiosity sparked, he started towards it.

Alex looked at Batman, then turned and glanced towards Warp and Shadow. Warp had apparently finished with what the burn and cards had done. Now he had sat her up enough to apparently heal what he could for her back. "She hasn't woken up yet, but I think she's stable. Warp's working on speeding up the healing on what he can." she replied, then turned back towards him. "Do I even want to ask what happened?" Last she knew, Warp was taking that little girl back home. Then he was dying, now Shaddow was in bad shape, and the girl was back.

Alex grimmaced a bit and turned back towards the group. Rosie had taken a brief glance at them, then went back to watching Warp and Shadow.
She did want to know what happened. Or at least who had happened. But Warp definately wasn't one to ask at the moment, and the girl...well she looked upset enough.

Alex's eyes widened, and she quickly turned back towards Batman. "Her mother?" she whispered in a near angry tone. She'd just started to get herself worked up when the bats came, her head was starting to hurt for some reason, and this bit of news didn't help much either.

Rosie shifted a bit in the chair, but kept her attention on Roxy.

Alex scowled and crossed her arms, turning her attentiong back towards the others. She felt her nails dig into her arm. She glanced down at her hands a moment, then tried to take a deep breath to calm herself down. That just...that shouldn't have made her that angry. Maybe this whole day was starting to wear on her nerves.
She caught a bit of movement out of the corner of her eye and glanced up to see Shadow move her arm a bit. She felt herself calm down a bit and smiled faintly. She was waking up. She'd be fine.
She glanced over at Rosie, and went to start towards her, but her ears picked out what must have been a scuffle outside somewhere. Just...all of a sudden.



Rosie noticed a somewhat relieved look on Warp's face, then noticed Roxy move a bit. She sighed and relaxed a bit in her chair. "Is she going to be ok...?

"She should be." Warp replied, sounding as relieved as he looked. "I'm...not sure what to do about her leg. But she'll be fine."
