"Then I accept you're challenge if you think you have what it takes to best me." he returned as he took his place at the Leader's side of the arena. "Geodude!" he yelled into the building at large, moments later seeing a boulder in the arena move as Geodude awakened from a nap, ready as ever to battle. Brock has accepted Julian's Challenge!

Brock asked tauntingly as Geodude appeared to roll around on the arena floor, laughing in a rumbling voice like falling boulders. "That's enough Geodude, let's show him his mistake. Use Magnitude!" Brock ordered quickly, though not harshly. Geodude snapped to attention and slammed it's hands into the arena floor, causing the gym to rumble and shake as the floor trembled and quaked. The quake was a small one but it was still fairly damaging to Pikachu. -100 to Nezumi

"That was a good move kid, definitely unexpected from a Bulbasaur." he commented as he stomped his foot on the arena floor, Onix emerging from beneath it with a stony roar. "This battle isn't over yet kid. Rock Throw Onix!" he ordered his Pokemon quickly, in hopes of taking down the powerful Bulbasaur.

"So it seems that my opponent was stronger than even my Pokemon's rock hard bodies." he commented to himself as he crossed the arena to stand before Julian. "You beat me fair and square so I am obligated to give you this Boulder Badge as proof. Wear it proudly." he commented, turning on his heel then. Halfway back across the arena, he looked over his shoulder. "And before I forget, I'd like to give you this. I doubt you'll need it but take this Tm as a gift and as my way of saying 'keep getting stronger'." he said with a knowing grin. {Julian has Received the Boulder Badge!

"I'm only as good as the pokemon who support me." He said happily as he leaned down and patted Rose gently on the head before returning her to her pokeball. "Besides." he said standing back up. "It waas over the second you under estimated me for sending out nezumi. You put up a good fight but you were lulled into a false sense of security from an easy knock out. I'm sure you don't normally do that since you are a gym leader, but that is the worse thing a trainer can do for his pokemon. You should treat each move as if it could be your last in the battle because it very well could be." Julian turned from brock and headed towards the gyms exit. "Anyway you treat your pokemon well and it was a good battle. Let's do it again sometime."

He opened up his bag once he was out of the gym and put the tm away. He also put his badge into his badge case. Once that was done he went to the pokemon center and had his pokemon healed.
