Darkstreak nodded. "He dislikes kits very, very much. With a passion." He meowed. "He doesn't acknowledge what he doesn't like." He meowed. He looked over at her, and he gazed right through her. "You hungry?"

Whitepaw looked over at him shocked he could tell"Umm yes a little i had a long run." she said with a shy smile.

Darkstreak smiled. "Then don't let a badger like myself make you starve to death with my talking. Eat something." He meowed with his usual smooth, somewhat soothing toned voice.

Whitpaw looked over at him " Oh you're not old. and besides there are more important cats who must eat first. Like our leader our queens and kits, and dont forget our warriors." she said smiling back at him turning her gaze to the camp to make her point.

"Who said I was old?" Darkstreak chuckled. He was young, and handsome. "But where would be be of our Medicine Cat apprentice starved?" He meowed, shaking his head. "Tsk tsk tsk."

Whitepaw chucked her was handsome for a warrior just then Bluenights words came to mind Do not trust him she shook her head "Ill eat when everyone has had their share to eat." she said to him still smiling.

Whitepaw sighed then looked at the ground" You dont have to talk to me you know you can go talk to the other warrior." she said her tail dropping to the ground. She started to get up but didnt start walking away she waited for him to say something back if Darkstreak would say anything. She figured it was embarrasing for a warrior to be seen talking to an apprentice if he or she wasnt their mentor. she kept looking down trying not to meet the young warriors gaze.

Darkkit thought for a moment, ignoring the 'it's best not to make such assumptions' part. "I.. uh... I forgot her name, but she died when I was just born." He mewed. "Hey! Do you think I'll become a great warrior?" Darkkit had a big grin placed on his muzzle.

Darkstreak frowned, looking a little hurt. "I'm not the kind of person you think I am." He meowed. "I converse with all of my clan, not just the warriors." He meowed. "But clearly you'd rather I left you alone..Good day, my lady." He dipped his head and padded away, his tail a little low. He headed over to Dappledpelt.
Dappledpelt looked up at he approached, and resisted the urge to cringe.
"oh..." Tigerfrost meowed. He knew who Darkkit's mother was now. His ice blue eyes flickered with sadness. He looked at Darkkit for a moment. "You'll make a very great warrior." He meowed.
Bluenight looked at Darkstreak.

A smile was on his muzzle now. "R-really? I can't wait to become one then! Hey, do you think you could be my mentor? I'm so excited!" Darkkit mewed happily.

Whitepaw watched him leave shocked at what he said. Whitepaw got up her tail falling and trailing on the ground and her ears down as low as they could. She kept her big blue eyes down and looking at the ground. She felt hurt but she didnt mean to hurt Darkstreak, he was nice but she didnt know ow to look at him she saw how the other cats reacted toward him and what Bluenight had told her. Whitepaw padded to the other side of camp far from the other cats she didnt want to hurt anyone else she just wanted to be alone, she layed down and wished she knew what to do.

"I don't know. That's for the leader to decide." Tigerfrost meowed, and blinked once. He watched Darkkit's actions.
"Entertained by Tigerfrost, I see?" Darkstreak's smooth, soothing voice meowed. Dappledpelt glanced at him. "Yes, it is a bit entertaining....I've never seen him talk to a kit before." She meowed, and flickered her tail.
Bluenight stared at Darkstreak, but attention traveled to Whitepaw.

Whitepaw wanted to run to be away from everyonee and everything she felt as if she messed everything up. She didnt think she was good enough to be a medicine cat apprentice. Whitepaw sank as far to the ground as she could "What if i cant do this, what if i cant be Bluenight's apprentice?"she asked herself Whitepaw wished she knew what to do. She layed there thinking trying to figure things out.

Bluenight padded over to Whitepaw, who looked petrified. "What's the matter?" The old she cat asked, looking down at her apprentice.
