Sapphire sighed a bit once in the bathroom, then turned on the light. Something was definitely odd. Something must not have agreed with her last night.
She made it a few steps to the toilet, then suddenly stopped in her tracks. She just felt a...bump...inside her. She looked down at her stomach, the lights allowing her to see clearly. Had she been holding anything, it would have been on the floor by now. She suddenly understood why her back was hurting her, but...at the same time she didn't understand at all.
How...did her stomach suddenly grow...within the last few hours? You...don't just get pregnant overnight. Not like this! And if this was from Ri....well that was months ago. She would have been like this at least a month or two ago. And she definitely would have already known about it. So...what...how did she just...
After a few very long moments of staring at herself in dissbelief, she moved to the toilet and made sure the lid was flipped down. Then, gently, sat down on it. She wasn't willing to go back outside...like this. What...what was she going to do? No, no she couldn't be pregnant. Something...very odd must have happened.
She felt another bump, which now knowing...this...felt more like a kick. No mistaking it...she was...oh what was she going to do.

Vandal Savage woke up, alone in the room. He figured she was in the bathroom; women just didn't cut and run like that, not with him. A quick glimpse over to the bathroom door, and seeing the light confirmed this, as did her costume lying on the ground. She'd have never left without that. He got up, stretched out a little, and walked to the bathroom door. "Sapphire? Are you going to be a while, or should I order breakfast now?"

Sapphire jumped slightly when she heard Vandal's voice. Oh great. Great great great great....
Nnn...she was starving though, like she hadn't eaten in...well, months.
"I'm...I...I...yeah, I think I'm going to be a while." she replied, putting a hand on her forhead a moment. "Um, go...go ahead and order breakfast if you want."

"If you're going to be a while, I'll just wait until you're done. No need for you to get sick eating cold eggs and such," Savage said. He still had no idea of what was happening on the other side of the door.

"I...I don't think I'm..." she started, but she couldn't think of anything to say. How was she going to explain this. She really didn't want him to see this. Was she stuck in here then? She'd have to use the elevator to leave the hotel. That left escaping out the window out of the question. She could teleport out of here. But she didn't have a appartment to return to.

"Sapphire?" Savage was beginning to get worried, mostly because he wasn't sure if his plan had worked completely; he wouldn't know for a few months yet. "Are you alright? Do I need to come in?"

"I'm not asking what happened, we can get to that later." Savage leaned against the doorframe, concern etched on his face, though Sapphire couldn't see it. "Just tell me what the problem IS."

There was a bit of a long pause, then the doorknob turned and Sapphire opened the door. She didn't know how to say it, she really didn't believe it herself, so...might as well just show him. He'd see eventually anyway.
