Tathar was near Minas Tirith when he smelt blood, to him it seemed like the stench of orc blood. He followed the scent right up to the dead orcs. He saw bright, skillfully aimed arrows in the orcs. "Hmm." He thought aloud, "I should get to Minas Tirith quickly now." He decided to find the local tavern there and ask about. After a short walk Tathar arrived at Minas Tirith. "Gatekeeper, will you open the gate and let me in." Tathar yelled to him. The gatekeeper opened the gate for Tathar and muttered under his breath "What a strange day: a ranger, a warrior lady from Rivendell, a half elf and another ranger."
"Gatekeeper sir, where might I find a fine tavern to rest my weary feet?" asked Tathar.
"Well, you'll find a cosy one in that direction," told the gatekeeper as he pointed northward. Tathar then heads to the tavern and gets a beer. He quickly started asking questions about any orc raids or warriors coming into town. He then found out that an injured ranger and his half elf friend came into the city as well as a hurt lady from Rivendell. Tathar decided to look for the ranger to speak with him.

Elrothiel nodded without speaking, barely acknowledging the man as she watched the healers' skillful removal and treatment of the injury, before turning back to him. "He will recover fully?" She asked quietly, simply wanting reassurance.

Hrorik had been in a deep sleep when he woke up to Amaroq licking his face. "Hey, what was that for?"Hrorik said curiously. Amaroq growled to him that the ranger that had told them to protect the elf had arrived badly wounded. He also said to Hrorik that he would lead him to his friends. "Alright, let's get going and see how Ranu is doing," Hrorik said. With that, Amaroq ran in the direction of the healer's houses with Hrorik not too far behind.

Ranu remained unmoving, and the healers would occasionally check, but little occurred.

That was when Hrorik and Amaroq arrived on the scene. "Hey, what's going on here, Lady elf? You need your rest,"Hrorik spoke. He then proceeded over to her bedside and smiled. "I wouldn't worry about Ranu if I were you. He's a tough man. He'll make it,"Hrorik assured the elf.

"Ah, only sleeping in the stables. Oh and Amaroq only came to check up on you two. He'll be leaving now that he's seen the two of you," Hrorik said quickly, remembering what the elf had told him. Amaroq then headed back to the stables since he had done what he needed to do.

Ranu's eyes fluttered and he breathed in deeply, shuddering as he felt pain lance through his side. He clenched his eyes shut until it subsided, turning his head towards the sound that had drawn him out.
