"I'm not that mean. And I wouldn't harm the Fleet that way. would be like cutting off my nose to spite my face. and since I don't want them yelling at my present girlfriend...I'll work hard on those degrees. anthropology, masters in bioengineering, and what was the other one?"
Between bites and drinks of soda.
"And we'll keep them off you, I won't let them do anything to mess with project Echo.."

She of course had a mouth full of food at that question moment which she swallowed before answering him. "Biology." A drink to follow that bite of food before she choked on it. "Isn't that sweet, he's going to learn new things to keep my a** from getting fussed at." A laugh from her.
One thing to be said about her, outside the lab she was a bit more less strict in her mannerisms, a little more free in her motions and speaking as well. Who knew why really, it was just a thing she did. "Mess with project Echo or mess with me? We're not entirely fused together yet."

"Both. they mess with you, that distrubs your echoes and project echo. they mess with the project itself, that messes with you."
He ate some more, and piotned at her with this fork.
"Come to think of it, when was teh last time we saw Joey? I told him to make sure all magazines and news articles are sent to me at least in one copy. still trying to find out who's leaking information out."

"Looks like you've already worked out all the...intimacies...of the bond between me and my project. A few more bites of food, clearing her plate and then taking to finishing off her soda as well. Getting up she took her own dishes to the sink and rinsed them off, trashing the can, and then proceeded back to the bed which she lounged across the end of.
"I treat Joey like I do Fein. See him once a month or get an email once a month telling me if there's anything I might be interested in reading up on, or anything about me that I can laugh at." Then a laugh. "But he has been avoiding us...I think you scared him last time."

"He should have been scared the last time. wht he displayed on that website, that thankfully you didn't get to see, was a private thing that I would have rather kept private. but I do need to find out how information was getting out and if it still is."
Of course that email he got didn't help that little bit of paranoia, though placing his security additions online did. the Fleet was a massive boobytrap in space now, al it needed was Moria's passwords to activate it.
"Speaking of the doctor..anything else in that maps that you might have found interesting or amusing to you?"

She laughed again. "I"m just rather surprised that in your free time you fantasize about me and think enough on it to make a memory out of it really." A thoughtful look followed by another laugh. "I don't think I've ever looked so good." Followed by another chuckle as she propped an elbow on the bed, supporting her head on her hand.
Jelena sobered a little. "I think you've scared him for life. Drop him a line, I'm sure he'll get back to you asap. I would if I were him and you wanted something." A slight sigh as she ran a hand through her hair. Really, poor Joesph.

A bit of a grin at that.
"Well...a boyfriend can't help but fantasize about his girlfriend, now can he?"
Then he got up, moving to his computer in teh wall, and in about thirty seconds had a paragraphed emial to Joey sent asking to have copies of all news reports and magainzes gotten sent to him to look for possible information leaks and to quit being a baby about last time becuase if he'd really wanted to kill him he'd done it by now.
"Though I might say I was a tad bit surprised you didn't have any of me..at least none that got dragged up on your MAPS. Am I that old that I don't qualify for fantasy material?"

"I think I should be offended by that statement James Moira. Just because you didn't get a fantasy on a MAPS reading doesn't mean I haven't had one or two...or a few. As I understand it, MAPS pull up fore and back thoughts, and not so much on the middle."
A look over to him at his computer. "So I've been concentrating on work a lot in the foreground. And besides, I don't like to make things up in my head. Never good to expect things to be a certain way.

That got another chuckle.
"Expect things a certain way. How can you. you've seen some of the attachments to my arm..and ther eare others I can assure you. soem are more military and other's aren't."
A small grin.
"I'm a biomechanical wonder. who knows what things I might have in store for you."
then taking his plate and tossing the can in the trash, putting the plate in the sink and leaning on the counter.
"Unless, of course..your not exactly thrilled with this mechanical arm of mine in that kind of intimate situation."

Now she sat up and leaned back on her hands, actually looking offended this time instead of stating that she should feel that way. "Don't you try and play that card on me, Mr. Moira. What do you take me for? Some uneasy around something not quite natural little blond tech? Being blond is the only true thing in that statement, Mr. Moira." Oh lord, he had pushed the rant button.
"If you think that I am a little shaken over that then we have a serious problem here...and frankly I have enough problems in my work life and would really not like them to spill over into my personal life. I'm a well educated, top ranking scientist and needless to say, I have quite the unique view of things. So if you are speculating of going that route, just quit while you're ahead."

Her rant got a chuckle and a shake of his head.
"Didn't mean to imply that. But there are some people who love all teh things that I can do with it until things go that route. they feel uncomfortable with a hand that can leave indentions in steel romaing over exposed, and much softer, flesh. I didn't say or mean to imply you were. in fact, it wa just a teasing poke at you. Sorry to offend."
Then a devilish little grin.
"Or..would you prefer to back your words with a little test?"

"You speak to the woman who practically skips around the enclosures of what could be very dangerous creatures, and lets them gnaw on her and the like. If I'm not afraid of being snapped in two or ripped apart by an Echo, what makes you think that I am afraid of a little biomehcanical arm, you're got a screw or two loose in that head of yours."
On that bed she sat with arms crossed sitting cross legged as well as she pretty much ranted on. Though a raised eyebrow at him at his little test proposal. "If you are not implying the former tech comparison, are you then implying that I am indeed uneasy and just using bog words and attitude to cover it up? Hardly the truth..." And a raised finger to push her OODDS up to rest comfortably on the bridge of her nose.

"not imply either. but I think you're time aroudn the Echoes gives you a bolder, stronger view on it, which I like. I think that you aren't bothered by it. but I wouldn't mind putting it to the test. after all, even your dangerous echoes are flesh and blood, and warm. my arm and hand isn't. all I propose for a little test is you take off your top, and bra..and let me touch you with it. no more, no less."
A small smirk.
"You're not the first to say those kinds of things, until they felt it. actually had one woman tell me she'd rather me use only one hand than to have the metal on one her again. Not to mention it gets me a free fondle, so to speak."
A chuckle at that.

And the other eyebrow raised to join the first one. "Bold suggestion of yours, James Moira." Just like a suggestion any man would make, wasn't it. Yet other than the eyebrow raising she gave no further reaction to it at all really. Not shock or horror, being appalled or anything. Why? She was a scientist, that's why. So what then?
Jelena pushed off the bed and got up, grabbing the chair in his room and dragging it over to the wall where she used it as a stool and fiddled with the wires in the back of his security camera. An electrical shorting out sound later and she dropped down from that chair.
"Alright then. I'm game for you little test." And thus she went about disrobing from waist up, no more fazed by any of it or anything else usually. That was the joy of being scientific, you had the option of being completely objective to your work.

A small smile as she disrobed fromt eh waist up, of course after disabling his camera. not that he couldn't print that out later fromt eh file being stored in his head. But, a test is a test.
He flexed the bioware hand some, and walked over, and gently laid his hand on the right side of her chest, and moved it across to teh left slowly. the hand was obviously cold, as metal was, and it gave a vibration from all the tiny moving parts and that kind of tingly feeling of electromagnetics, like it put her body there to sleep and woke it back up in a single motion.
Then his hand went to his side, and he gave her a small smile.
"So, your opinion, Jelena?"
