Super Sailor Monoceros HP: 44/75 DMG: 18 (+1 from Article of Strength bracelet) = 19 Talismans: 1
Monoceroes breathed heavily, flinching as he took damage. No. He had to keep going. He had to help. He had to help finish this. He had to keep his fear under control. He forced himself close again, using his Burst. His last one. Too late, he realized he should've used a talisman, but that didn't matter now. His next chance, he ********, he was tired. So tired.
Sailor Monoceros leaps up to the bad guy, getting close, before letting loose a burst of quills from his entire body. (Allies beware!) The Burst is less aim-controlled than the Flash, but more intense. These quills will likely puncture more deeply from being close up and attempts to remove the quills before disappearance will cause a sharp, hot pain where the quill is pinned, and a more dull ache in the surrounding area, making the muscles more sore. A user can choose to have this attack cause permanent damage or the injury will fade when the magic expires. This attack will last about 30 seconds and can be used twice per battle.

[Sneaking this post in - I promise to get my tags caught up tomorrow for this event. I'm so sorry ;_;]
There was no doubt. Everything they were throwing at the monster was working. As Aokigahara reached the fourth lantern, lighting it and sending a flare of magic across the wonder, the monster wailed, and its legs, assaulted by a continuous pounding of physical nadm magical attacks, crumbled into dust. It collapsed, a bony torso scrabbling at the ground, and let out a long, hateful wail.
The creature propped itself on one arm and swung the other in a wide arc, smacking into everyone it could reach and grasping wildly at those it could not. Smoke continued to pour from its crumbling limbs, and it gasped out a rattling cascade of fog. It was clear, though, that the creature was barely able to hold onto this form.
The anger left on the Wonder bloomed, in one last all-out attack.
Quote:
Everyone will take 15 damage from the monster!
Finale will drop around 2:30 am EST on August 5th (in 72 hours)!
BANES:
VOYAGER: A hot flash rushes through your body, causing brief dizziness. -2 to your roll for this round. VELOUR: You've suddenly become very hot to the touch. Take 5 damage, and any attempts to physically interact with your character will result in the other character taking 2 damage. PHAETHON: Strange hands reach up out of the ground and grasp at your character's ankles, leaving long scratches that sting. Take 5 damage. IMBRIUM: You find yourself suffused with rage. While you can still tell friend from foe, you are compelled to attack: no shields or heals, only damaging magic or physical attacks.
BOONS:
IDA: You feel a pair of hands on your shoulders; they are not grasping or clawing, instead they are pushing you on and urging you to fight. +5 to your roll for this round.
The monster was crumbling in front of them, and Encke knew they had to finish it off while they had the chance. It screamed. It gasped. It blasted out another roll of dark fog as it told its anger to a wonder that would no longer hear it.
Encke glanced to Basiluzzo with concern, looked to his cat on his shoulder with even more as she curled tighter against him, and shifted his gaze back onto the monster in front of him.
Quickly, he whipped out one of the talismans that he had been given by Aokigahara, using it as he declared, "Cometary Burn!" and sent his eternal attack flying at the smoking remainder.
Hopefully, the knockdown effect would be enough to keep whatever remained down--
"Basi, do you need me to share some energy with you!" He glanced to Viatrix on his shoulder, who winced slightly at how loud his shouting was in her ear. "Same to you."
Cybele's smile was strained and pushed to one side, even as the legs of the skeleton in front of her crumbled to mist and dust.
It was difficult to say why she already felt so connected to this senshi beside her, but she knew that she was not looking forward to the things she was going to have to clarify, especially if they would wipe the bright smile off of the other girl's face.
For now, she would just enjoy the moment of fighting side by side with her.
A bony hand slammed into her shoulder. Not having legs was only holding the thing back so much, it seemed. Time to finish the job.
Holding up the last talisman, Cybele gritted her teeth and stepped forwards through the mist, delivering a powerful kick to its exposed ribs.
The monster seemed to be receiving more and more damage. The end seems to be near. Tjilaki decided to use her magic then. She hoped that this would help her and the others as they defeat the monster. All the lanterns should be close to being lighting and all this fighting does seem to keep the monster occupied with them and not with Aokigahara.
She threw out her hands and said her attack.
Quote:
[★] Sailor Scout Attack: Iceberg Upraise Tjilaki rubs her hands together and says her attack. Little cubes of ice form in the palm of her hand. She throws them to the floor they settle to the ground. •If the enemy gets too close a large block of ice pops out of the ground knocking the enemy to the ground. •lasts only for 10 seconds. •Can only be used three times per battle •does not do any major lasting damage •She has to be a close range (3ft)
HP: 39/75 Physical Damage: 1d10 Senshi Magic: -- Skoll's Pack Advance: 2d4 (Up to 3 Targets for 1 round, 3/3) -- Skoll's Pack Offense: 3d4 (Up to 4 Targets for 1 round, 1/2) Talismen Remaining: 1
Buffs: Using Physical Attack Talismen! 10 + 2d4 Damage: 18
Two more lanterns flickered into existence, recognized as the skeleton began to crumble and break apart. The smoke around it's feet choked everyone it in - Skoll included to her chagrin - and was made worse by the falling bones. Her lungs burned, so much so she'd spent a few seconds hacking up her lungs and unable to attack.
She rolled out of the way as more bones fell and pulled one of the talismen out of her subspace pocket. "Better hope you - cough - work," she said, holding it up and activating the spells within. There was a rush of power in her limbs and she shot forward. A fist fueled by the talismen's magic slammed into the skeleton with a resounding CRACK.
Anser couldn't quite figure out what was causing Cybele to be making those faces, but figured it probably had something to do with the fact that they were fighting a giant skeleton. Probably also had something to do with the fact that it was still attempting to attack them even as it was fading.
She pulled out the second talisman, deciding that Cybele had the right idea, opting to use hers too.
"b***h!" of course, she might have yelled at it for good measure as she delivered a good, hard kick right to the nearest part of it she could reach.

Page Voyager HP: ??/50 Damage: 3
Even if the skeleton was large, anything, even something huge, would eventually be worn down if enough tiny things attacked it. Even if he weren't using any magic, he was pretty confident that he was at least contributing to the monster being damaged.
Suddenly its leg collapsed and now it was just a torso with arms. Voyager suddenly felt a bit dizzy as he tried to throw another rock at it and was barely able to make the throw as he wobbled and eventually had to sit as he felt the world spinning around him. He wasn't sure if anything in particular had hit him, but he didn't want to try and attack anything or anyone while he didn't know which way was up or which way was down.
The skeleton went down, but that didn't mean they were out of danger. His will to attack went away and he was back to feeling... whatever it was one normally felt in a battle. He couldn't say he felt normal exactly, but he didn't feel compelled to fight.
Or at least forced into fighting. He still needed to fight after all and at this point trying to use his magic would most likely be useless.
Instead he found a small rock and tossed it at the creature though whether it did anything was something only the skeleton knew. Sumner felt a bit useless in this fight.

Knight Alphubel HP: ??/100 Damage: 7
Alphubel felt some hope fluttering in his chest as the creature went down, though the agonized wail of anger and defeat was not something that made his heart leap with joy. Still, it meant that they were getting somewhere, though the point of the whole thing was to light the lanterns, not to defeat the skeleton. But know it was hopefully unable to get to the last lantern and the owner of this Wonder would be able to light the last one without worry.
Alphubel lodged a good-sized rock at the skeleton hitting it in the face and he couldn't help but smile a bit as the rock hit. Though he knew that it was most likely just trying to do what it needed to around here, whatever that was.

Eternal Larissa HP: ??/100 Damage: 9
If the whole battle weren't so darn chaotic she would have gladly used her magic at the time. Getting stuck to the ground would have been very useful against the various creatures attacking them and perhaps even the skeleton if it landed on one of them. But she wouldn't really be able to warn anyone know and they didn't have much room to move out of the way either. After all, they couldn't go near the woods surrounding the Wonder, they had been warned.
So she continued to throw stuff at the skeleton as hard as she could, though she was feeling a bit guilty about doing so now that it no longer had legs and was barely able to attack.
She had nothing else to do, and the monster hit her! It was very insulting. So, Charybdis pulled out her last talisman Aokigahara had given her.
Wailing back at the monster, her high, thin voice warbling, Charybdis rushed in and slapped the talisman forcefully onto the skeleton. "DEMON BE GONE!" she screeched at it, just like the priests in those animes.
Bane You find yourself suffused with rage. While you can still tell friend from foe, you are compelled to attack: no shields or heals, only damaging magic or physical attacks. Damage Dealt: 10+62 = 12
Fury suffused the Castor knight- the kind she couldn't quite explain. And even though she was typically on the sassy side lately, she wanted to do violence non-verbally.
So, yanking out the talisman, her LAST talisman- Imbrium ran up on that bony b*****d and curb-stomped at its... whatever she could reach, actually.
She was rather blinded by her fury, and she could feel her heel slide off of it, but she didn't care. All she cared about was doing it violence.

The skeleton was determined, but there were a lot of equally determined senshi and knights standing against it. And Scylla was mad because she was still creeper'd out by that weird little breath on the back of her neck.
That meant one thing.
Time for more tentacles. And so she summoned what she could, pulling them from the dirt and watching them rise- high, strong, and hungry- before sending them into the skeleton with a smash.
