Even though Jonathon had given her a tour, she couldn't always remember where she was supposed to go. Though, she guessed getting lost wasn't so bad because as a result, she had managed to spot the bookstore. She didn't know there was a bookstore! A grin appeared on her face as she hurried over to the building. She hoped they were open this early. She gave the door a push and smiled as it opened. A bell sounding to announce she had entered. She waved to the employees before she headed over to the first shelf she say, her icy blue eyes moving as she scanned over the titles of the books before she reached out and grabbed one that caught her attention. Turning the book over, she then started to read the back before her eyes flickered around the store. Walking over, she grabbed a basket. She would definitely need one of these. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Yesterdays shift was over at the hospital. Skylar had finished about eight hours ago. Within those hours he got seven hours sleep which in his perspective was good. He hadn't gotten a decent rest in a while due to the constant pressure of working, but now with stress being lifted off his shoulders, he could finally relax. He decided to even have his mind even more relax that he'd pay a visit to the bookstore. He hadn't gotten the chance to read a few good novels lately so he decided to enlighten himself.
Pushing through the doors, he quickly approached the first isle aisle. He didn't need a lot to read. Just a couple of books to get him through the week. His hand ran across the book shelves, scanning each title that was given to the book. Eventually he came to a stop. With his hand now pulling out the novel, he looked at it from the front. Then to the back. It was called Seven. He had heard about this book but never did he bother to read it. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± I can take it away...

She grabbed a third book and read the description on the back as she headed towards the next isle of books. Since she wasn't looking where she was going, her elbow accidentally bumped into the person standing there. The elven woman stopped before blushing darkly as she looked at the teal haired male she had accidentally hit. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.." She said apologetically as her icy blue eyes looked at him. What was with her running into people so often!? ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Just as he was about to open the book to get a more general idea of what this story was all about, he felt a slight bump on his arm. Shooting his eyes to the being who bumped into him, he smiled at her. "No it's alright, I shouldn't of been standing here in the open." Skylar closed the book as he turned to face her. He took instant notice of her elven ears. First time he had seen such a creature. Never had he encountered this majestic kind as he always thought they were myths. Then again he was one of the races who are an extremely rare sighting.
"Are you alright miss?" He asked with a concerned look. He scanned his eyes to see if she was injured or anything but nothing. It was just a slight nudge. Nothing more. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± I can take it away... OOC: Gaia has a bad time giving me notifications lol.

"No. It was my fault, I was the one who wasn't paying attention." She said, it was in no way his fault that the elven woman had bumped into him. She then smiled a bit and nodded her head. "Yes. I'm alright." She said, it had been a small bump, plus if she had fallen and scraped herself up, her body would have healed itself within a minuet. As she glanced at the man, she could tell that he wasn't human, but she wasn't positive as to what he was... maybe a more rare race? Not that it truly mattered to her. She was just a bit curious. Pushing some of her white hair behind her ear, her blue eyes then looked into his for a moment as she smiled. "I'm Luna by the way." She said as she held a hand out to him, she had noticed that handshakes were something that people often did when introducing themselves, so she was guessing that it was some sort of custom.|Out.Of.Crystals| - |

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Skylar tilted his head to the flushing of her face. She seemed somewhat embarrassed although it might just be a common thing. He was unsure nor did he wanted to ask her about it. It would be pretty rude and weird for him to ask such a question. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Skylar." He extended his hand as she did with hers. He took hers gently into his own, giving it a light shake before releasing his hold on her. He looked down at his book, scanning his eyes over the title. He'd have to get this book checked out if he wanted to read it although he could wait before he done so.
"So Luna what book are you looking to read?" He wasn't too sure what to say so he said what seemed to be the most cliche thing to say. It was better then saying nothing. He looked back up at her, with the same smile, pursed on his face. He took notice of the colour of her eyes. Lowering her hand, she then looked at the male. "It is nice to meet you as well." She said, she'd been here a few days and had talked to a few people, but really couldn't call them friends. Maybe she could become friends with this male. After all, the both of them liked books, so that was something they had in common. The elven woman was taken from her thoughts as he spoke again, tilting her head a little, she then glanced down at the basket she was holding and at the books sitting inside it. "I'm not really after any specific book, I like to read anything I can get my hands on." Though, there had been a few books that she read, she hadn't really cared for, so she would probably keep from reading them again. "How about yourself?" ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Skylar didn't take notice of her basket till just then. She definitely had the interest of reading. He might be able to befriend yet another person. "Well to put it honestly I'm just looking for some books that have good character development, story and of course plot twists." Thus the reason why he had the book Seven in his grasp. The fact the story relates to the seven sins and how it has an interesting twist to the end sure got his attention. "I'm actually going to sit down at the tables, care to join me?" He always welcomed company. Especially since hated the thought of remaining alone. Not saying he is just he preferred to be able to speak with another. Those were always good ideas to keep in mind when reading a story. "Yeah. A story that catches your interest and is able to keep it is the best kind of story." The female then glanced over at the table as he asked her to sit down before looking at Skylar again and smiling as she nodded her head happily. "Sure." She said as she smiled at him warmly. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ He felt pretty glad to get a positive answer from her. He made little time to waste time when he got it from her as he walked over to the table, seating himself in one of the chairs. Skylar looked at her from across the table before placing the book he had on the table. "So since the formalities are out of the way, how long have you lived in this city?" If he wanted a shot at having a friend he'd like to know more about them. What they liked, how friendly they are and of course are they polite. He has met a lot of people in the hospital who show the opposite to what Luna showed to him. Ungrateful for him saving their lives. No one knew how much stress can be put on him when he uses his abilities to heal others. If he wasn't the nicest person he is right now, he wouldn't even consider the idea to help those in peril.
Skylar smiled warmly at her. He could see the friendliness in her face though in his opinion she looked quite shy to him. Cute as well. He wouldn't tell her that. He'd just keep it to himself. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± I can take it away... OOC:

"I've only lived here for about a week." She said. "But I've discovered that this island is a very nice place to live. The people I've met have been nothing but friendly and kind." She said. The male was actually quite handsome as well, but she wasn't about to tell him that. She then gave a small chuckle. "Even though I was given a tour a couple days after moving here.. I still get a bit lost at times." Thought it seems that getting lost was actually a kind of a good thing because she got a chance to make a new friend. "How long have you been living in the city?" ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Skylar listened to everything the girl said to him. He rested both his hands on the table, eagerly watching her with his crystal eyes. "Trust me this city can be one to get lost in but sometimes getting lost can be adventurous." He loved the idea of exploring new areas without intending to. It made everything more fun. He tilted his head slightly before smiling some more. "Well I've been in this city for over a year now." He was actually transferred here pretty much. The old hospital he use to work with wanted him to expand his expertise at a more needed place for good doctors and so they recommended him. "It's been quite fun living here as well due to meeting new people everyday at Soleil Hospital." He continued. "Although I have met a few unpleasant people but not every city is perfect." So the male was a doctor. That was a very impressive job. She liked to help people, but she didn't know if she would be able to handle the stress of being a doctor. "Yeah. I work at the ice rink. I've met a few interesting people there." She said before she gave a small huff under her breath. She'd met enough unpleasant people in her life to know how that worked out. "Well I haven't exactly started on reading it but it's called Seven." He replied. "It's suppose to be about the seven deadly sins." He continued as he stared down at the cover. His eyes trailed back up at her again with ease. "What about you, what are you going to check out and read?" He was interested to know what she fancied in a novel.
