once they was in and the doors closed he put Grimlord back into the hole that went clear through the doors and soon the ruby he removed was replaced and swelled along the crease locking it again. Then pulling Grimlord out of the ruby like crystal he sheathed it again.

Turning around the one who the boy teased was watching him. And another as well was looking to him. "How did you wield that sword like it was nothing?" the other guy asked and the boy sighed. "I am the one Grimlord, the sword chose. I am it's warrior. This is my tower, and it once was part of Syna the sky kingdom." The boy said huffing and finding it odd these two seemed more interested in him then the things the tower had on display. The boy moved to a wall and hung Grimlord on a mechanism which oved and the cold tower grew comfortably warmer and light up as well.

The boy laughed a little bit. "What do you know of the old guardians the 12 heros of light of the sky people if anything?" The boy asked watching the man. "As for why the sword picked a boy, Lets just say I take on the appearance of a boy when around humans. I am not really the way you see me." The boy walked up to a statue that had similar looks the boy had only more adult like features. and armor the same as the boy had and on the statue a carving depicting Grimlord over the shoulder of a giant like figure as smaller humans stood arms raised over head as if cheering.

The boy was about the same hight of the smaller people at this tall warriors feet. one story homes at the base of the statue just below the knee of the giant like warrior.

"Well yes, the armor I wear is the same armor as this mural and a few statues in here shoe, it's the armor of the heros of the skylands. Each hero stands roughly 15 feet tall at the shortest unless they take the form of a young kid." The boy said and then seen one of the explorers looking at a door with runes around it looking to try opening it.

The boy moved at blinding speed and stood in front of the door in the blink of an eye. "Sorry but this door is off limits it well it's a place that the heros before the current hero rests in eternal sleep. But it also leads to a place monsters are stored trapped inside seals. Only those of the descendants of the heros that are chosen as the current hero can safely pass or even touch this door. But the other doors without runes on it are safe for you to explore." The boy said quickly and placed a sign in human to explain the runes would send a heart stopping shock to anyone that is not one of the 12 hero's. Then he went back to the others near the mural.

"But it is said the 12 hero's must make a pact with a being of eternal life to become the current hero. So it's still hard, even if your chosen to become a hero you still have to pass the tests this eternal being places forth." The boy said his red eyes looking to those who was listening to him.

"You see the giant in the mural behind me?" There is a sign that reads Sodain Gorlon the Ruby hero below the wall painting. The boy shook the man's hand. "Greetings My name is Sodain Gorlon. Pleased to meet you." The boy said smirking.

Sodain laughed a bit looking at Lita a bit. "Shes one too." Sodain said defensively at the assault of questions. "But first of all calm down take a deep breath I will answer your questions in plenty of time. Firstly it was mostly above the clouds so it was plenty sunny, it was never too hot or cold, and it had very little rain. the times our land got any extra water at all was when we controlled it to go into or below the clouds enough to get rain to fill up the reserves.

though we do have a magic waterfall and lake which the lake does have a supply of fish we could catch at times, and there are fishing seasons which told people when not to fish to let the fish breed more. As well as the lake and fish we grew our own vegetation to eat, We even had food cattle. how ever if we got low on seeds for planting, or meal cattle a few people was picked to visit the lower lands as we called them.

Groups of three 2 regular people and one guardian went to the portal room and warp to one of the 12 towers placed around the lower lands. Because where we where located in the clouds a single ear of corn grew so big is weighted 20 pounds and fed 15-30 people in a day. So we brought a few of the excess fruits and vegetables down with us to trade for cattle. as well as we made our own cheese, butter, milk, and it was such high quality, you could see in the records of old of what had survived through the ages at the great archives in the grand library.

Some record keeper tasked with preserving records to know what it was like back then over many thousands of years ago. You may have seen mention of "golden" goods like Golden milk, eggs, cheese, and various fruits and vegetables. These where the highest quality of these goods, which we always had collected fro our lands in the sky." Sodain told them explaining the food aspect as he walked around showing a few things the urals had paintings depicted.

When he got to the mention of golden goods there was a painting of a person holding an egg of gold in the air with two hands and like it shied golden rays off it. He went to a odd panel pressed a spot on the wall and it opened a crystal bottle with liquid in it and a crystal vial like thing with a wide base. He picked the bottle up pouring the liquid which looked almost silver in color it was so pure looking into a single vial before putting the bottle back and taking the vial. Sipping from the glass as he closed the panel. "Ahh refreshing." Sodain said then continued.

"These golden goods was so high quality they was mostly purchased for large prices by the servants of kings and queens, back in the day those where the rulers where each area has a president now a days. And then we would bring them back to our land by the portal or by air flight.

As some animals like chickens are less durable for the molecular breakdown and reassembling process of the portals one of us guardians flew them up through the clouds to the loading dock, in ancient times the kingdom Octavi or the kingdom of the high mountains had working ships that flew in the air or sailed on water.

They where at times one of our biggest traders until they got too advanced too quickly and the entire kingdom just vanished without a trace." The boy showed a mural of a castle kingdom which had people flying about in the air with a device on their backs, then the next one the village that looked like the cities now.

And the one after just a pulsing vortex in the mountain where the city once stood and nothing but a few floating rocks and a dark hole in the air like a black hole. Only it didn't such anything in. Sodain paused to sip more of the liquid in his vial. Which didn't seem to drain that easy as if it automatically replaced what he drank. Sodain looked to the people that followed him. Seeing how this information was being taken by them. And to give time for them to maybe ask questions if they did about what he told them so far.

Sodain smirked a bit. "Oh my glass is getting emptier it just takes longer, you see this is highly refined water, even after 5 thousand years this water has not aged because of the processes to refine it. and just a drop will quench your thirst for hours, a sip you can walk 500 miles in a desert before getting thirsty." He said watching the man.

"though you have to use a glass, or canteen made to keep the water as refined this small vial like cup actually holds 5 galleons of refined water. one sip is like a cups worth." Sodain explained.

"Though while some of the possibly more dangerous items here or items that can be used for evil purposes here on display are replica's that don't do more then light up an area instead of powering things or doing much.

some of the less harming ones like the pitchers and glasses here are the real items you know can't let something so powerful that it could wipe nations of the map in a blink of an eye be touched. one pitcher can hold 2 years worth of water for a family of 5 in one fill. but once it runs out if you put regular water in it well. your looking at it holding just half a galleon. Only in these towers can you refill them with refined water. Now one thing at a time but any other questions?" Sodain explained further about the water systems other then how the processing process is done.

Sodain went to Lita a moment making her look him in his eyes. "Look at me Lita. I said LOOK AT ME!" Sodain said in a large rumbling voice that seemed to shake the entire tower softly sounding like thunder.

He said grabbing her and fire like wings shoot out his back looking like black flames and he jumps up lifting Lita in his arms. "Bring him!" Sodain said to the others as he carrying Lita went towards the red door with markings on it and spoke oddly.

"Althorta junkila gorrund niix!" he said rolling the R sound like growling it out as he said this the doors glowed then vanished as he watched the others to bring the man that was feeling cold. The sword grimlord lifted out the sheath and floated beside Sodain illuminating the path as he walked past large stone carved slabs about 15 feet tall by 10 feet wide each with engravings.

Sodain stood by a blue glowing door. with red runes carved onto it. He waited for the others to catch up before it opened turning to liquid and flowing into the floor. He took Lita and placed her on a bed which then a strong light cast down over her bed blocking out any foreign influences. Turning to watch the others he pointed to another bed that was standing up a bit. "Ikmandur morkith." He growled then shook his head. "Place him there." Sodain then said in human tongue.
