I would imagine you could because you can credit all the authors involved in it.
On another note, we really should set up some sort of deadline system for the zine, that way we have something to work towards. I think the 18th may be a good day, (especially since it's the day right before my spring break and I will be on my way to visit Drake). But I think that would make a good day if we're going to go bi monthy. But at our production rate I think we may look better at going with a larger montly production because we simply don't have the content to really put out a decent bi-montly zine. I'd rather go longer with content than have a shorter design that lacks.

I think once a month would be better. The whoosh has past and left me chilly. I'm working on a better poem or will be soon. Procastination always wins.

Once a month is much more manageable, and even practical.

And of course, it would be good for our readers to publish at a consistent date every month....what date was it last month?
I propose the first of each month. Or a week after..... sweatdrop

Or a week after..... sweatdrop I believe I posted on February 22nd for the first issue. Should we make that the magic number? I would be three days into my spring break by then, so it'll give me plenty of time to edit and scramble up last minute changes. xd

Sure, the 22nd sounds fine. I won't have internet access during my spring break but it's at a different time than yours so it should be okay.

Well I'll be off an about up in Iowa for half my spring break.
Untill then I'll have to put up with doing a crapload of s**t for teachers who are about ready to get smacked. If I get one more project I'm going to yell at the teacher who gives it to me. I've been slowed on my production of everything for the past month because of crap teachers have been giving me. Hell the teachers themselves are slowing me down on doing their crap because they can't lay off the ******** homework. And I did manage to find away that I can kill three birds with one stone.
But what really pisses me off at the moment, not one teacher neglected to tell me an assignment when I had gone and asked for them, but two! So now I have to make a ******** poster by friday, on top of doing crap for her book of life project, and reading crap for english, and typing up some stupid crap for german, along with take care of junk for science club. And I've got to do all this while trying to manage from one dipshit doctor to the next so I can waste more time having a miserable track season.
And if you want to read a more detailed rant of why I'm so pissed you can check out my post in the read the stickies thread.

If you have too much to handle right now, then I'll just take the column you have now for the second issue. I don't want you to feel pressured as this should be a hobby for everyone - not a chore! wink Good luck pleasing the higher-ups at school. xp Can't fight the system, alas, we can only try to make it work for us... stare

Oi, things sure do go alot slower here. Staffies that were pretty good about showing up have all but disappeared. Where's Gossamer Widow? And Dev Kimiko? Bane and others used to at least drop in once in a blue moon. Now it's not even that! gonk
sad This may just be what gets a lot of magazines at this point. Somethings must be done! I call for a revolution. A few people fired here, others given a reminder, a few new ideas, new events, something to get us going! I won't have us sink into the graves with the other magazines that tried and failed.
If need be, I'll even cut some writers from my project and find new ones, if they don't do their part. I'm determined. This 'zine won't be going downhill without a fight. [insert determined-looking and serious smiley]

And I agree - staffies are dropping off like flies. Gaia's been having lots of problems lately. Maybe that has something to do with it? Although, I don't think we're falling into a slump as far as 'zine content goes. You can check the draft to see the progress! Ashely the Fascist has signed on to be a columnist, and you know she's bound to cough up something controversial. Nobrin and Jahoclave have their columns ready too, so I just need to post 'em soon. The fiction section is looking good thanks to Peiormentis, and poetry is filling up quite nicely. I think Kraeela's Neighborhood Watch is ready to go as well! I think it would be a good idea to find some other authors for your project if the original ones don't respond. Contact them first and see what's going on though. Meanwhile, I'll start PMing the disappearing staffies to see if they're still on board! Thanks for the kick in the rear. Hopefully, it'll get things moving again! Any ideas for fun events though? All I can think of now is the Scanvenger Hunt. sweatdrop

*raises her hand in case Serieve needs another writer*
Agreed, the ones I see here a lot are Jaho, Serieve, Alice and Lilly.
*makes a mental note to give everyone else the evil eye when she next sees them*
I'll be out and about, lurking away. 3nodding
And yes, I think we could get the 2nd edition out without a hitch. Alice, if those misisng columns dont turn it by publishing time, go without them. We have a new columner, right? Make use of her!
*hugs the Sereive for her (very appreciated) enthusiasm*

All that's left is the good stuff, so keep it up you guys! Oh, Kraeela? How's the archive coming along? Did you still want to be in charge of that? 3nodding Let me know!
