Kat lowered her head and rolled her blue-grey eyes at the mention of her noise making.
"Oh, that. I think that door is getting flimsy, I nearly pushed it off it's hinges. Either that or I am much stronger then I previously thought."
She replied, at first being very serious about the door, bit her second comment was an obvious joke that hse quickly followed with a good laugh. Tapping a finger to the table top she gazed at Tobias for a moment.
"How are things with you? It's been a while."
She asked, tilting her head slightly then resting it in the plam of her hand while her elbow rested on the table top. Her hair moving with the new angle of her head and falling around the arm that now supported it.

((Well then. Might I ask you to make one for Tobias, using the bigger Sworder in the picture? And I make generous tips. And based on how it looks, I might commission you to make one for Jhala, Shafi, and Ryan as well. XD))

Kat listened with intent and continued to eat as he recounted what he had been up to until this point. She wouldn't admit it, but she was jealous he was out doing all of this, while she was stuck on the ground doing little to nothing. Seeing his guesture to the other woman, Kat turned her eyes to see who it was he was pointing at. Looking over the woman introduced as Lena as she stood awkwardly by her table, Kat gave a nod of her head as if okaying the woman.
"Pleasure to meet you then Lena. And please, don't call me 'Miss Kat'. Either Kat or KnightRider."
She explained, not being one for the formality Lena was offering. After she was done explaining that he gave a wicked look over to Tobias.
"And you better watch yourself, if you get on my bad side who else is going to bail you out of trouble when you take a hit in that bucket you call a zoid."
She replied, obviously joking as well, though the fluxuation in her voice that gave it away was subtle, enough for Tobias to catch, though she couldn't tell if Lena would.

Lena nodded to Kat. "Alright, Kat then."

She smiled kindly at the woman and then watched the exchange between the two in front of her. She couldn't help but feel a little out of place, but she did enjoy listening to the joking back and forth.

"Yeah whatever you storm jocky! See what you did, made this poor woman uncomforatable."
Kat retaliated, having seen Lena out of the corner of her eye and the features she knew all to well about being out of place. As she spoke a hint of an accent from her home land broke through, which almost always showed up right when Tobais began this game of theirs. However, bringing up Lena was mostly a ploy to get herself and Tobias off the matter of fighting with each other. It always seemed they never won any arguement, since she knew she was always the winner and she could bet Tobias thought the same. Reaching up and scratching the back of her head she looked over to Lena and gave a slight shrug.
"Sorry, it's something of a habit between us."
She explained, hoping to make the other feel less out of place then she already did.

Lena smiled and shook her head at Kat. "Don't apologize for having fun. It's fun watching you two. I just don't have anything to add, myself. But is it really this exciting to be a Zoid pilot in the air? I've dreamed of being one, but I've only operated basic ground ones, and that was on rare occasions, and just for supply transporting missions."

"I'm not your brother. I've learned to go without food. I just choose not to if food is readily availible."

he entered the DFAC and looked around.

"Ah, familiar memories return. i think this makes...seven times now I've been here."
