Ryan nodded. "No problem." He said, pushing his way out of the door. Running back to where he left Valik, Ryan looked up at the tree. "He isn't here...." Ryan felt the panic build in his chest. Even though they were natural enemies, Ryan felt some sort of protective instincts over Valik. He understood what he was going through, to an extent. Changing, everything was confusing, everything he was going through Ryan had gone through as well, only as a vampire

Selia just sighed and sprinted up the hillside, gasping at the sight of Scarilive. Fire's raged on the small village outskirting the castle, smoke clouding the sky. Just shaking her head, Selia ran to the castle walls, blending into the fire. She reached the castle walls in minutes. Launching herself onto the wall, only to be grabbed by the ankle in mid air and shoved into the ground by a guard. Not just any guard, but her guard from when she escaped. "It's quiet some time princess." He grunted, spitting on her cheek in disgust. "Sebastian!" Selia screamed, but was cut off when the guard wrapped his fingers around her throat.

Ryan continued searching through the brush, then felt fur. Sighing, Ryan backed up a few paces. "Valik?" He said, hoping it was Valik who he found, and not some one else.

Selia pushed against the guard, releasing his grip on her neck. "SEBASTIAN!" Selia screamed again, hoping it wasn't in vain. Even in the pandemonium around her, she could hear the echo from the hills. Hopefully Sebastian heard her. A dark figure came from behind her, and grabbed Selia by her hair. Another guard had come to help. "Well if it isn't out little princess." He laughed, pulling the sleeve of her tunic down to see her tattoo of a crescent moon. "Your father missed you." He said sarcastically as he threw a knife to his comrade. "You get the first cut Derik."

Selia just nodded her head. "Thanks." She said, hugging Hihara tightly.

"No. I know this place and I came here to get something. And it's about time these yearly burnings stop. And just run on the ground that way." Selia's eyes were hard as she spoke and pointed the direction Hitara should run to escape Scarilive Turning to the wall, Selia jumped onto it and began to climb, reaching the top in seconds. Looking down at Hitara, Selia smiled. "I'll be back in five minutes tops." Launching herself into the air, Selia grabbed a windowsill and swung into the castle itself. No one was in the room except a sleeping figure of Selia's brother.

Selia gasped as Sebastian embraced her. She still had a look of surprise when he released her, but that look turned to affection when she realized what happened. Selia hugged Sebastian tight and felt the tears well up in her eyes. "You came." Selia whispered. "You came, you came." Was all she could say. The boy in bed stirred and sat up. Looking around the room, Selia's brother saw the three people by the window. "Who's there?" The body jumped from bed and rushed them, sword in hand. Selia released Sebastian and turned around so he could see her face, but not before he pulled the blade into an impressive swing. The blade tip caught Selia, a long thin cut running down from just above her eyebrow to below her cheekbone. "Good job Demetri. You never could reach me." Selia nodded approvingly, then reached into Sebastian's pocket and pulled out a knife. Selia threw it, launching her brother to the wall and pinning him there by his wrist. "But that doesn't change the rules of the game." Ripping her tunic, Selia walked over and gagged her brother. "You always were Daddy's little good boy, but we can't have that right now Demetri." Selia also blindfolded Demetri/

Ryan took a step back, hands at his chest in surrender. "I don't care if you a wolf right now, but Boothe is getting suspicious. And he needs something from his shop. I can wait until morning, and think of something to tell him, but it needs to be flawless." Ryan sat down in front of Valik. "Got it?" Not waiting for an answer, Ryan lay down. "Where's Selia and Sebastian now? If you know." Ryan raised an eyebrow at his own question, knowing it was pointless to ask.

Sebastian gave a cautious look to Hihara, but said nothing else in return. He turned his attention back to Selia. "Of course I came." he said as she took his knife. He couldn't help but smile at Selia and admire her leadership and audacity. He liked it.

Valik nodded his giant head towards the hill, where the castle was behind. He thought for a moment, thinking of the things in Boothe's shop. There was a safe Boothe had kept in the meat locker, though he never showed any one the content inside. Valik leaped over the brush and towards the village. He took a few steps then looked behind him, motioning Ryan to follow.

Sebastian nodded. "Yeah, you go ahead." he looked around the room. "I think I'm going exploring." as he spoke, his face seemed to get darker. With that, he disappeared.

Eventually they made it to Boothe's shop. Before they entered, Valik looked stopped. He didn't move, only listened in case there was some one watching them. After a few moments of silence, he cautiously entered the shop. The roof was torn off, and the walls showed signs of fire. He walked past the rubble and pushed open the door with his long snout. Brushing by the meat hanging from the ceiling, Valik stopped when coming to a small safe. He looked up at Ryan, hoping he could somehow open it. The freezing air of the room made Valik's fur rise. His thick fur sculpted his large muscles. Little did he know that with one strike from Valik, the safe would easily break open.

Sebastian was in the room within a second. As he appeared into the master bedroom, two guards called at him, running towards him with spears. He stood for a moment, waiting for them to get closer. Just as the spears were about to steak his chest, he pushed his arms against the spears, causing them to drop. Sebastian did a roundhouse kick to the heftier guard, sending him stumbling back. He then threw a dagger between his eyes. The large guard dropped to the floor. Dead. Sebastian gave a challenging look to the last one. The guard ran out and into the hallway. Sebastian simply walked into the hallway behind him, and threw a curved dagger into his back. The guard dropped to the carpeted ground face first.
Walking back into the room, there was Selia's father. The King. The one who slaughtered his mother. His sister. Sebastian had never spoken of his sister, due to how much pain it caused him. "Remember me?" his jaw clenched as he took a step towards the murderer. His face was dark and sinister.

Valik looked into the safe. All he saw was an old-looking photograph. He carefully bit the photo and placed it outside of the safe, cautious to not get drool or bite marks on it. It was a picture of a beautiful woman. She had long red hair, freckles, and a blushing face. Valik squinted his eyes, wondering who she was. Nothing else was in the safe. Just this photo. It wasn't their mother, Valik would have remembered her. This woman wasn't one bit familiar. As he looked closer, he saw the tattoo of Scariville resting on the woman's showing collar bone. Wait, what's this? She was wearing an elven wedding dress. The elven style of this realm. Valik looked up at Ryan with confused eyes.
