Hello all. I am new to this guild. As a matter of fact, this is my first guild on Gaia.
My name is Tiffany, and I'm a 26 year-old female living in CA.
I, like all of you, have an obsession with David Bowie. Bowie was one of my first crushes as a child. To this day, when people ask me what I'm looking for in a man, I respond with "David Bowie." Unfortunately, this has brought me to a string of jobless musicians with questionable sexuality. The upside is all my exes have looked fantastic in makeup and can serenade me when I can't sleep. The downside is I have to drive them to all their gigs and make sure they eat on a regular basis.

Im 14, from New Zealand, and I fell in love with bowie two or three months ago, and when I saw this guild, I was like, OMG YAY FELLOW DBFANS!
and so I joined.
I think David's Music is just absolutely amazing. Absolutely smashing. Simply the best. Lovely. Yes biggrin
not to mention what a great person he is biggrin

Hey... I'm 14. I first got into Bowie when I was about 5 and found Labyrinth on VHS in Blockbuster. My mom rolled her eyes and asked "Are you sure?" And I was unsure of why anyone would roll their eyes at the beautiful man on the cover... it's only gotten worse since then sweatdrop
Then during the great snowpocalypse, I randomly remembered the movie, watched it about 80 million times, and then started to look up all the other amazing things he did. heart I'm really glad there's a place I can talk about Bowie without fear of people rolling their bloody eyes at me...

Heheh..what is there to say really? I think my joining this guild tells about 985 of my life XD hehe...I'm one of the biggest DB fans out there....diehard fan actually. I can literally listen to a DB song for 3 hours straight eek

Helloooo dollfriends, my name is Kim, my nickname is KIMBOwie and really shows how much I idolize the Bo. I even consider myself a Bowieologist. Hardcore. After I got into his music, which was after I saw AFI cover "Ziggy Stardust", and saw his many chameleonic phases...I just felt like...he inspired me to be me and express myself through any outlet possible, like fashion and makeup because his persona of Ziggy Stardust was and is just phenomenal to me. Then I got into glam rock and from there, I turned into the type of person I am today. I'm not afraid to be me, because he wasn't and people love him for that. I know I'm getting sappy, but his music is just so magical to me. He's a great influence. It's just insane. I collect anything having to do with him and now it's diff to find stuff I DON'T have. So I hope I can make friends here. <3

Hi, I'm Megan. I love David Bowie. ♥ Like everyone else here. xD I have only seen Labyrinth once, but I fell in love Bowie. I need to watch it again sometime soon.

Hello all, My name is Ibit_thezombie. Shorten that any way you wish if you choose..
I have aged, 21 Human years/ 357 Elf years.
(Besides David Bowie) I like Pokemon, Pinapple soda,mayonaise, tuna melts, tomato soup, mayonaise, mushrooms, pickled vegetables and pickle brine, writing with pink ink pens, mayonaise, and belching really loud.
I like to read, study the Russian Language, sew, paint and draw.
My goal in life is to become a tattoo artist.
My current obsession is designing a personal wardrobe for myself.
I don't like arguing, socks that don't have patterns on them, squash, tap water, adding salt to a completed meal, not being able to effectively use chopsticks for Ice Cream or spreading mayonaise on things, turtles bees and pigeons.
I tried to post my own little thread with a poll but the poll didn't show up... emo
But the question was: do you think Bowie should've had a singing part in the Prestige? Why or why not? Anyone feel free to post that up, since my effort seem to be futile.

I am 26 years old, born a few months after Labyrinth was released.
David Bowie is my god, and I am his devout servant
I adore David Bowie (recently voted the coolest Brit ever, and with good reason) and have seen everything he's done, including the work that's otherwise horrendous.
I know every word of Labyrinth and Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence and watched the Prestige not for Hugh Jackman or Christian Bale, but for the fifteen minutes of Bowie.
I don't care if the man is 65, there is nothing in existence as hot as he is (though Jensen Ackles and David Tennant do tie for a close second.)
I think Sarah Williams is absolutely mad.

Hi there. I'm AbbyAries, 18 years old and I live in the Philippines.
I'm actually a late Bowie fan as I just started appreciating his songs one year after his death.
I adore him so much and ever since I learned about him, I got inspired with his fashion, songs...everything.
Although I did not hear all of his songs nor watched his movies he starred in, I could already says he's a talented person and there will be another guy who's great as Mr. Bowie.
