"FORM RANKS!" A voice can be heard over the heads of the human soldiers as their general bellowed orders. She rushed through the line of men, barely dodging explosions and arrows. Even with a whole battle going on, she kept a level head and focused on her men as much as possibe. Almost a blur of red because of her incredible speed, demons just seem to drop dead as the as thing they see in their unatural lives were arrows impaling their chest and their foreheads. Amnity liked to fight that way, slowly lowering the enemy army's soldiers as others fought. "Lieutenant General Walters! Have he infantry set only 10 men deep to have a wider line, with the infantry on the right." She ducked as a demon slashed at her head and immediatly she ripped out an arrow from her quiver and dug it into he monter's stomach. "We'll meet whatever feeble attacks the demons put together, then we'll flank them!" The lieutenant nodded, then quickly set off to do as the general ordered. Amnity took a moment, closed her eyes and prayed. She prayed for the safety of her men and the others...She prayed for the defeat of he demons... She pra- Amnity stopped her praying for a second to shoot down a demon that was rushing at her before continuing....And she prayed that all will go well...

((Don't worry, it happens to all of us. ^_^))
Shay eyed the demon oddly as she laughed, yet Shay continued onwards. “So... how do you wanna die?” She said laying the blade of her sword, at Lolly's neck. The dry, yet wet blood there began to stain the tip of Shay's sword... But that didn't matter to her, all that did was killing this demon and ridding the world of it's evil. “A clean cut, or would you merely like to take it in the chest?” She spat out in anger, yet she paused in thought.
Shay looked down at Lolly for a moment and then kicked Lolly's sword out of her hand. Shay stuck her own sword in the ground beside her and helped the woman sit up. “I may be a brutal killer when it comes to your kind... but I do have a heart and soul-- and to kill dishonorably isn't in my nature.” Shay moved Lolly's dagger away from her and helped the woman up. As they were standing Shay had an odd feeling of deja vu, and she kept her hand by one of her spare daggers-- just in case, as she figured Lolly would probably try to kill her again.

David walked now up towards Shay and the others yet he kept his face hidden. The bow and arrows was on his back but his sword was ready to be taken in use if needed. He was just to speak as he heard the echo of a voice he had heard times before. He had been with this woman soldiers as a scout and he got a bit relief that the humans army was around even if it was far away perhaps they where still there. He looked at Shay under the hood and just waited. Keeping his tongue silent for he doubted not that even Shay have heard the human general close by. Now this was her fight but two demons in close was the reason David would switch from range to melee and it was for a new found friend.

Shay heard someone walk up behind her and just the smell of rain drops and wildlife, told her who it was. She smiled, yet desperately wanted to spin around, and punch him on the shoulder for taking his sweet a** time. Shay nodded at Lolly, "Until we meet again... and next time I won't, hesitate to killing you." She said in seriousness, and spun around on her heels. She picked up her daggers and sword, sheathing them back in their place and walked away. She through her arm around David's shoulder and smiled up at him. "What took you so long...?" She casually asked with a raised eye brow and a grin.

Azrael groaned when another showed up, as if they're weren't enough life here. Turning around and walking over to his weapon, and picking up the monstrousity, he looked at Shay thinking, "Another time then," and began to walk away. He wanted to get a word with the huntress, but he couldn't collect the nerve while her friend was present.

David smiled back to Shay and lifted up his hood as he and Shay would have walked away far enough to make it very hard to see even a glimpse of Davids face. He pointed out towards an arrow in the wall that had blood on the left side of the tip. "I didn't get a clear shot since you showed your back to me all the time. Yet I was keeping an eye out. That has to count for something!" He smirks for a second as he then nods towards the direction of the human army. He doubted not they could use some hunters around.

Shay looked back, noticing the male demon who came up to her and she wondered what he wanted... But that could wait until another time. So she turned back and leaned into David, with a grin. "Do you mind...? I'm seriously beat." Shay sighed heavily.
Shay eyed the arrow tip, Who's blood is that...?" She casually asked and then continued, "I'm sorry about that, but still you could have rushed to my rescue." she teasingly said, knowing full well she wouldn't have let him help her if he did that. "But thanks anyways." She gave him a good squeeze to the shoulder and then winced in pain, forgetting about her knife wound, and chest cuts. She paused and began to gets bandages out to temporally wrap up her wounds, until she went to an Inn or elsewhere for more secure and permanent wraps.
Shay gazed out at the army wondering when this war or battle was going to subside. Or at least, have one or the other sides run back in retreat.

David just smiled towards her and looked towards the army as he stopped for Shay to recover a bit. "It was a male demon walking up towards you when thinking it would be a 2 on 1 I had to join up. He moved to much backwards so my arrow just nicked him. Now let's walk up to the human general it's the safest place we could be at for this moment. Also you could get some medical aid. We're far from the healing herbs in the forest." He didn't answer the question if he would mind yet as he helped her walk he hoped she understood that he didn't mind at all. In fact this felt as if it would become a great friendship or partnership, call it what you want.

Shay saw the smile on David's face and couldn't help but smile back in return. Shay nodded in return to his comment knowing full well it was the demon's blood, but she just wanted it to be confirmed. “Ahh... yet I seriously don't think it'll be a...” She began not wanting to get involved with the army. But David was right, and she did need patching up before they head back out, so she swallowed her pride. “Alright...” she said leaning into his body for strength and hating herself for doing so. Shay was so used to doing things on her own, and with that thought in mind, she began to stray away from his body and try to walk on her own. Hurting herself and body even more in the process of doing so.

David shook his head ash Shay pushed her self. Even if he couldn't sense the tension form her the sweat drops on her forehead as she fought to stay up was to obvious but now was there needed a way to make her care for her future without sounding as if he looked down on her nor hurt her inner self. He thought he found something he could honestly say that would only prove his point and nothing offensive either. He knew that she was a hunter and they where loners and trained to survive all alone. Yet she would only become worse as she was acting. "Shay, Lend my strength for it will do best for us both in the end and one day I can be happy to loan yours when in need."

Shay noticed tension in the air between David and her. She looked back wiping sweat of her brow and holding back a grunt or two here and there from the pain she was causing herself. Shay made a mental note to kick her a** later for this, and she motioned for him to come to her side. She knew he had her best interest at heart, but the way he worded it was strange, and very odd. Yet she would probably lean on him heavily now, since she depleted a lot of her energy from the little stunt she just tried. She sighed inwards and through her arm up and around his shoulder. “Alright stud... take me home.” She teasingly said, hoping he knew how and what she meant by that.

"I'll walk you through the shadows of our guardians!" It was clear that he would walk though the forest. David was still between some thought. First would be to go direct to the army but at this point it would be just a waste since he and Shay would have done little. The two main thoughts where to go to the portal or rest in the forest. The first good thought in his brain was an easy one. Let Shay decide. "All the way tot he portal or rest in the forest dear?"

Shay eyed him oddly, wondering why David made that comment on taking her through the shadows of the guardians for... yet she figured what he really meant was merely that, he'd take her were she wanted to go... or at least something pertaining to that.
“Rest...” She said through clenched teeth in pain, in response to his question. Shay began feeling blood continuingly slide down both her shoulder, and her chest. She silently cursed in that knowledge. So she stopped and leaned against a tree pulling off her satchel. “I need to wrap this up before I bleed to death, or lose to much blood... And since I'm...” She paused wincing in pain as she flexed her shoulder where she was slabbed at, and she grunted in pain. She dropped the satchel and closed her eyes trying to control her emotions, the level of pain she was excepting and taking in. But even though she couldn't really do that, she just focused on breathing and trying not to move in an attempt to not further increase her pain.

Lollys had waivered in and out of conciousness as she stood there, vision blurring, her shoulders and arms aching, a trickle of blood from her side and arm. She stumbled with a singleminded necessity towards where she'd flung her bag, to stumbling. She turned around and glared at the figure of Shay, talking to the other fellow. In her mind, she vowed that this human would pay for her humiliation. Craven furiosity keeping her standing, she scooped up her sword, knife, and shoved the shorter blade into her knapsack, the longer into its sheath belted at her side. She stumbled back to her familiar plains of her home and the old crumbling seat of House Menes. She dissappeared in the ruins staggering away.

David notice that she was weak and as it seemed to weak to heal her self. "Yes I'll help you with that bandaging!" He led Shay into the dark of the forest and stopped in an area where he had good vision out but there was a poor vision in. He didn't need to know the forest to use it to his advantage. "Sit down and I'll fix the bleeding!" He placed her on the ground knowing well that she was most likely to weak to put up a fight with him when he laid her down on the soft grass so he could stop the bleeding. As he waited for her to remove any things that would be in the way for the first aid, David was collecting herbs and other products of the nature as he found nearby.
