I got my registration, and got the email and send it back I'm just waiting for them to confirm my account.
One thing I really hope that everyone will try and get a few small point games from this site into the medusa 5 campaign. A few 250 or 300 point combat patrols would be great. We will have to work the out when it starts though.
As for you Lethal, I know what you mean but if you have time then large battles are fun. The Biggest I have ever done is a 5,000 point game. It took nearly 11 and a half hours to finish.

Nightmare! exclaim LOL, Nightmare is right bullet. Try playing an unlimited point game ( field every thing you have with out regard to force organization ) and have unlimited turns where the only objective is to cleanse the field. If I where to field my entire company of Marines with out war gear it would be 4500+ points. I love the big battles. Its good that you played one that big though.

Nightmare! exclaim Erm...I'm sorry that game took you almost forever. But I am capable of playing 4,500 point games and I do. And I've played 6,000 point team games. Maybe we are just more organized and know what we want to do so we play it out faster? Who knows. But it has never been that bad to the point where I would yell out, 'don't try them!'. I enjoy them.

Well I registerd yesterday with my growing tyranid force, finish with one gaunt and my uber cool Carnifex, he got a swedish name. Mirre Murr, that is a swedish name for a cat I saw on TV once. His warcry is."MUURR!" Will soon also put out my hive fleets background story here. Hive fleet Wadjet!

Right on Honda, I've done that before to. Huge battles are awesome fun ! But I can see how if your not prepared for it the first why it might seem bad to some one. I also like playing the 500 point compulsory battles, thats just like an HQ beating fest. mrgreen

Mixing the forces was the big problem!

Usually mixing forces isn't that great of an idea. Once I played Eldar and Deamonhunters. It was very annoying because in order to make the game fair they had to use the same force organization chart and act as one player. In such a fashion the Deamon hunters filled in the heavy hitting close combat while the eldar filled in the 3ap weapons slot. It was almost the perfect combination. I couldn't out combat them or out gun them.

See now I guess we play different here, we play huge team battles, most of the time infact. Marines and Tau work very well as a group once sits back and shoots while the other cleans up whats left in close combat. The last team game we played was smaller, 2400 two on one. the two palyers operated as a team andeach had 1200 points vs 2400 points of my guys. Worked out pretty good in the end. Im hopeing we'll get to do it again in the next week or so. cool The biggest battle we've ever played was a six way fight. mrgreen
