Aino, we have had thunderstorms for 3 days in a row where I am. This is unheard of. It makes me so happy, but I hope that it doesn't cause too much havoc... the people here are largely unprepared for such weather... they panic. sweatdrop TheDisreputableDog Sorry I haven't been around much lately. In the process of separating myself from my parents' financial control, which is difficult and scary and time-consuming. I had crappy grades last semester, and my parents want me to come "home," but I refuse to live with them anymore/again for my own mental health. They think I'm making the biggest mistake of my life and will no longer support me, so I have to figure out how to do it on my own. Really, it was about time, but having to do it all at once instead of gradually is a little overwhelming. Miss you guys. I wish for you the best of fortune in maintaining liberty. Aino Ailill Anyone know how to change font type? Can you be more specific? In what context, for example, are you trying to change the font type? And do you mean like, Arial to Times Roman, etc... I'm sure a few people could help ^^

In an ideal world, each of the subzones (feminism, antiracism, anticissexism, transfeminism, GLBT activism, PWD activism and etc) would simply be specializations of Egalitarianism. In the real world, each of these groups merely ******** over one of the others. Feminism being one of the worst offenders for ******** over virtually all of the other ones. Divide and conquer has never worked so well. What would you call one who does all the latter? Or would egalitarianism be an ideal descriptor for this?

Fiddler: I play D&D (we're playing our first game since winter break tonight!) and my fiancee is trying to get me into video games, specifically stuff like Final Fantasy and stuff like that.
And I hope you're doing ok! My dad's family all live in Huntington Beach, where they got all the tornadoes. Scary stuff.
Bastemhet: Do you know how much of the game they based on Welsh mythology? Or do they just use the name? I know the Koreas did Ragnorak game too, and I'm not sure how much that is based on Norse mythology.

Ainwyn I know the Koreas did Ragnorak game too, and I'm not sure how much that is based on Norse mythology. Only nominally and in some character/place names, as far as I can tell. Then again, I have problems actually finding a plot in the game as a whole, but that tends to be my experience with many Korean mmos - they become grindfests with little plot and next to no actual quests past a certain point. I think the only quests I've actually seen in RO had to do with getting hats or job changes.

I play D&D and GURPS and hubby has gotten me into some video games. I have a lot of trouble with FPS, I get nausious and nasty headachs, but I do well with most of the RPGs he's showed me. I really like the turn based RPGs. It gives me the time to decide what I want to do sweatdrop I'm way to indecisive.
I also like puzzle games, like Tetris, or Cube.

A lot of people know me as the resident old school White Wolf fan. I play everything except new World of Darkness (though Geist is looking enticing) and the really obscure ones, like the DBZ tabletop, with my favourites being Vampire the Masquerade and Scion. I also play various D20 based games, including DnD, and Rifts and Palladium Fantasy, which is basically ADnD.
For video games I really like most things by Bioware, especially Mass Effect.

I wouldn't know though since I'm not very familiar with the mythology, so I couldn't tell you how accurate it is.

There's a lot of stuff to do, besides just the grindfests you're talking about. The life skills and exploration quests are nice things to do when you don't feel like just fighting. You can also make a lot of money if you focus on these things. I also like mabi more because you're not locked into a character class so you can get any skills you want.
