Ranu ran hard, diving over a root. He wondered, as he ran, if they were gone. He hoped so. He wished he could've said goodbye to the three of them, but he knew time was of the essence. He just hoped they'd forgive him.

Elrothiel's eyes could distinguish little, but she craned back despite herself for any sign of either Ranu or his pursuers. There was nothing, though she could still feel the creeping, cold feeling that frightened her.

The Angels Knight [If you jump in with Ranu'll, you'll be fleeing Nazgul. With Amrok and Aafterdark is safer.] (I'd normally jumpin with you, but I'm not feeling battley today, so I'll stick with Afterdark and Amaroq. ^_^) (Hey Afterdark, are we moving, or.....what?)

[Yes well I lack the charms of both Afterdark and Raven so I'm not suprised. lol ]
Ranu swore as his leg caught a root. He smacked down hard, hearing a scream nearby. The forest seemed full of them yet he was sure there was only one. He crawled, whimpering as a momentary panic filled them, then dismissing it as he got up and sprinted again.

(yeah dusk, we be moving.) Hrorik felt that the elf was leaning back and he gently grabbed her arm, picked her up and set her in front of him. "I'm sorry, but I don't want you falling of your seat. Because I believe the ride is about to get bumpier....................."

Nonnah was silent the whole time. Riding her obedient stallion, she followed the muscular wolf and riders.

(you will now, wargs are about to attack them) Then, out of nowhere, a pack of wargs launched themselves at Amaroq. Amaroq had heard their howls from far off and knew that they wanted payback on him, but that's not scary to him. He jumped high enough so that the wargs went under him and he continued running.

Elrothiel didn't really appreciate being yanked about like a rag doll, but didn't comment. She ignored the wargs entirely, lost in her own thoughts and trusting to Hrorik to take care of it.

Her own buckskin stallion was quiet as a babe during the attack of Wargs. Nonnah unshethed her sword, and slashed at the closest animal. The warg tripped, and the orks riding the beast flung off or was intantly killed under the wargs wieght. A few behind the one her tripped stumbled a bit but was back on thier feet for another round. She glanced at Hrorik and Elrothiel, making sure he was protecting the silent she. Within this split second look a warg snapped at Nonnahs' horse's legs. The horse, still cantering, shied with a long leap, then bucked. Nonnah held on for dear life as her horse had a direct hit on the wargs hind-quarters. It shriked dreadfully.

Ranu was still running. Part of him told him to go for the river. He liked that thought so he raced for the sounds, singing louder and louder, despite his breath fading. He looked around as he ran, disparing that he couldn't do anything to help his comrades, should they come into trouble. Twisting south at the last moment, he raced after his friends, long behind if Amrok was as fast as he was said to be. His breath came in short, panicked gasps, which meant the dark creatures drew closer... He glanced back and saw a rider racing after him, its scream piercing the sky. Ranu's own scream wasn't much quieter.

Hrorik while Amaroq had jumped grabbed a throwing ax out of his pack and then threw at a warg in the front of the pack that was behind them. He nailed the lead warg in the head which made most of all the others trip and stumble.

Elrothiel's head jerked around at the screams. She knew the difference and was desperately scared. But what could she do? She couldn't reveal her own whereabouts without endangering the others. She bit her lip, her mind scanning through her options.
