The shadows wrapped around Ever right before she hit the ground and quickly carried her over to the shore of the lake. She landed right beside Aurora and smiled at her as the light fairy came to rest on her shoulder and the shadows sunk back into the forest. "See?! It's fun to leap out of windows, huh?" She was still smiling brightly at Aurora but was looking at the beautiful show before her. Light fairies and spirits were dancing across the lake's surface. It looked beautiful.

Aurora nodded. "I must agree. Flying is nice." She looked at the lake, smiling softly. It was amazing, she thought. It rather reminded her of some of the beautiful places from her home. She liked it very much. So mystical and pretty...

Trent blinked seeing the other girl follow behind the first. "What's going on?" He asked himself speculating the possibilities. The first thought to cross his mind was some crazy ritual that would summon a great demon that would destroy everything ... but then again that would be a stupid thing to do on earth in a forest that basically bred light magic. After a few more unnecessary thoughts he decided to wait to see what was going on.

Caroline smirked, and followed the others out the window. Like Aurora, she too transformed, but into something a little larger - a white dragon, about 12 feet long, not including her tail. Her wingspan was about twice that, so she had a maneuver carefully to have airspace.

{{lol!! Trent wonders briefly if it was a ritual to summon a demon, and then shortly after the 2 girls fall out the window, a dragon follows them out! lol!!! It would almost seem like it WAS a ritual! That is hilarious! I hope you keep posting here quite a bit, Silver!}}
Ever smiled and then grasped Aurora's hand gently. She needed to face her fears of the lake. She loved the lake and didn't want to be scared of it. Besides, the light fairies and spirits should protect them.
"I say we go play in the lake! What do you say? We just won't tell Ari that we beat her in here."
She laughed softly.

Aurora nodded. "That sounds nice," she said. She then, without waiting (as it was her nature), began to walk towards the lake. Before her still shoe-clad feet touched it, she jumped up and transformed twice in a row--once to a small bird that flew a small ways out and then to a mermaid with a graceful fishtail of dull gray.
Splashing into the water, she resurfaced easily. "The water is nice."

Akira smirked at Evermore's grand departure and shrugged. "Well, she's not the only one that likes jumping out of windows!" she said, before leaping out the window herself, but before she could gracefully land though, Kilala had another idea in mind and jumped out as well, transforming in mid air and swooped under Akira, kindly obligating the girl to sit on her familiar's back. "Woah, nice one, Kilala!!" the Dog Hanyou praised, stroking her companion behind her ear lovingly, as the Twin Tailed Cat Demon flew, her legs moving as if she was running swiftly, towards the lake, roaring happily like i giant tiger would. Then it hit the teenager. "Kilala...You can FLY!?" she asked in disbelief and utter amazement. What COULDN'T her familiar do!? A giggle escaped the feline's lips, as she replied happily, " Yes, i can. The flames on my paws allow me to fly, acting like an air balloon in a sense, but it takes more energy to do so. However because we're connected though a master and familiar bound, i am now able to do much more then i usually could with ease. Nice surprise, huh?" "Very nice!!!" Soon enough, they caught up to Evermore and Aurora. Kilala landed gracefully, letting Akira jump off before returning to her miniature size. "Ok! Let's do this!" suddenly, a thought occurred to her, one that had been nagger her for a while now and she frowned, making a mental note to not look at the moon tonight, just stare at the mystical lake...

Ever gasped as she watched Aurora change into a bird and then into a gorgeous mermaid right before she dived gracefully into the water.
When she came back up, Ever beamed and applauded. "Oh wow! That was amazing! You are so lucky to have that power!"
Then, Ever looked down at the dark water by her feet and she breathed deeply, trying to calm herself. She would be fine, she would be fine...
The light fairy flitted over to her and then kissed her cheek lightly. "It's ok. We'll all be here to protect you. Have some fun. The lake is safe at night."
Ever smiled when she felt the tingling sensation on her cheek and turned to nod appreciatively to the fairy. Then, with one more deep breath, she jumped high into the air and landed into the lake with a huge cannonball.
When she resurfaced, she was laughing and spluttering water. Even the water itself felt different from the afternoon the day before. It was warm and buzzed with life and magic! That must be due to the light fairies and spirits. She felt wonderful! She had never been in the lake at night before.
Ever turned around and swam quickly over to Aurora. "Oh my gosh, this is incredible! Do you feel that?!"

Trent chuckled kicking his legs in the water. "dang right it is," He answered the girl silently to himself. While he looked mostly human (Besides the leaves)his bottom half up to his waist was now hard like Bark but flexible like normal skin. his feet had become Large flat circles of wood with roots hanging off looking alot like a tree stump turned upside down.
(like those wood guys from Lord of the rings)

She nodded. "I do. It's very..." She couldn't think of an appropriate word, waving a hand in front of her instead. "I rather like it." Aurora didn't really think it needed much more in terms of words.

Akira watched with a warm smile as Evermore concurred her fears of the water and Aurora's beautiful demonstration of shape-shifting.
She wondered if she too was a little uneasy about the lake, but was too sleepy to really test that thought, instead, she sat near the lake, pulled up her pyjama pants up to her knees and dipped her feet into the warm, delightful water.
Letting out a content sigh, the girl marveled at all the beautiful colors of the lake and the beauty of the night.
Out of the corner of her blue eyes, she caught a glimpse of the moon's reflection, but just to be on the safe side, she avoided looking over there, not wanting to bother Evermore about that protection spell or wanting to transform tonight, period.
Kilala curled up near her master, enjoying the fresh air and sense of freedom the night gave to the Demonic animal.

Caroline-the-dragon crept toward the lake on four legs, and sat dawn at the shore, watching intently as the water lapped up to her big dragon talons.
The water tingles...
In this form, she couldn't speak (well.... she could, but, it didn't sound very intelligible.) and instead relied on broadcasting her thoughts in a short radius.

A few moments after Aurora spoke, the light fairy that had been so near Ever for most of the evening had spoken to the rest of her friends on the lake. Now, the light fairies and spirits were beginning to surround the girls. It wasn't menacing, though. There was light, soft, happy laughter floating around the girls. The blue mist consisted of the light fairies and the pink mist consisted of the light spirits. The fairies were tangible while the spirits were merely ghostly forms.
Suddenly, the mists picked up both girls and started to carry them across the surface of the lake. It was almost like a slow ride down a river, if the girls were actually touching the water. It was wonderful!
Ever was laughing happily and now could officially say that she was in love with the lake again. "Aurora, this is incredible! I love this!"
Her hair was flying behind her and the wind was cooling her off nicely while the pink and blue mists beneath her were giving her small waves of energy that coursed into her body.
A few seconds later, however, she heard a deeper voice that did not belong to any of them. Ever looked over to the bank of the lake and saw a very odd and almost-scary-looking creature. And it was definitely male!
Ever screamed loudly in fright and surprise, which also caused the fairies and spirits to react and accidentally drop both girls back into the lake.
