MasturChef Celestine Ravencroft MasturChef K i m z y MasturChef Hello, Kim c: I'm pretty good. How are you? Apart from having to go to the doctors, I'm all right. I'm glad that you are all right. 3nodding Doctor's? o: Glad to know you're all right yourself. School's finally started again for me. I have no idea why the district decided to start in February, but I'm not complaining since it meant over a month of winter break. Chef, won't that mean you'll have to go into June then? Unless California colleges operate differently, you're supposed to have 16 weeks of classes.Close to it. I'm out by the end of May. I have no idea how things are done here. I had no idea 16 weeks of classes were required to begin with sweatdrop That is generally how long a typical full semester of college works. Now, some places may do 14 weeks (I know my student teaching took 14, but people still had classes even after the student teachers were finished XD), but who knows? Maybe Cali is different. Maybe ask one of your instructors?

Sorry there's not going to be anything official from the guild for the holiday and anniversary event. It's not like I don't want to do something for us but I don't want to step on any toes and take way anything from people who already have their own threads going.
And on that lovely note, don't expect any Valentine's from me because I don't even want to do anything related to this event anymore. That one person who got the only one I sent out last night is lucky because last night when I saw the event was up I was actually excited to do this whole event. But now, not so much anymore.

Anyone here know how to make cowboy hats or anyone who does? I know someone who wants a real cowboy hat that looks like this. He isn't able to pay for it now, but he will be able to next month at the latest.

I apologize for my recent inactivity. School has started up again and I am trying to focus on it as much as possible. It is absolutely crucial that I do well this semester (n-not that it isn't crucial for every semester, but it's especially crucial this semester because of what I did to myself at university).

No need to apologize for school taking the top spot right now. So long as you pop in one random Saturday a month until the end of the semester to let us know you're still doing okay that's more than enough for me and I'm sure a lot of people in here.

My god it's lonely doing the event by yourself. I don't have the motivation to want to keep going. I really need to have people to do the event with and I'm just not getting that by myself. Still looking for someone to hang out with for the event. I'll understand if people aren't really comfortable being around me right now after this past weekend.

Oh, real life. How you suck so much sometimes.
BF's moron bro is calling again.
And again.
And again.
And again.
He's been calling all day for a uniform for his new job. He's known about it for a week and decided to bug everyone about it until now.
And I thought I was a procrastinator. Jeez.

And so begins six weeks of me not eating late night snacks after nine at night. It should be a good test of my strength in the art of self-sacrifice like when I gave up all things chocolate twenty-years ago. Ah lent, six Fridays of me complaining about having to eat seafood and once I get down to where my dad is having to endure nearly an hour long wait just to get into the Shrimp Shack. Oh the joys of going through the motions of the Catholic faith when my core beliefs aren't strictly rooted in just the one religion. xp

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steampunk - source Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery,[1] especially in a setting inspired by industrialized Western civilization during the 19th century. Therefore, steampunk works are often set in an alternative history of the 19th century's British Victorian era or American "Wild West", in a post-apocalyptic future during which steam power has regained mainstream use, or in a fantasy world that similarly employs steam power. Steampunk perhaps most recognizably features anachronistic technologies or retro-futuristic inventions as people in the 19th century might have envisioned them, and is likewise rooted in the era's perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, and art. Such technology may include fictional machines like those found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne, or the modern authors Philip Pullman, Scott Westerfeld, and China Mieville. Other examples of steampunk contain alternate history-style presentations of such technology as lighter-than-air airships, analog computers, or such digital mechanical computers as Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace's Analytical Engine. Steampunk may also, though not necessarily, incorporate additional elements from the genres of fantasy, horror, historical fiction, alternate history, or other branches of speculative fiction, making it often a hybrid genre. The term steampunk's first known appearance was in 1987, though it now retroactively refers to many works of fiction created even as far back as the 1950's or 1960's. Steampunk also refers to any of the artistic styles, clothing fashions, or subcultures, that have developed from the aesthetics of steampunk fiction, Victorian-era fiction, and films from the mid-20th century.[2] Various modern utilitarian objects have been modded by individual artisans into a pseudo-Victorian mechanical "steampunk" style, and a number of visual and musical artists have been described as steampunk.

*pokes head in*
Oh hi guess what I'm not dead!
*flops over lifelessly into bed*
Jkjk, I was gone a looooot longer than I thought I'd be due to my mom having shoulder surgery (I was her helper for 6 weeks) and school starting off with a bang. Currently working on a project for one class that will count for 20% of my grade. Better not muck it up o.o
So yeah. Have I missed a lot? Has the Pretzel Baron been behaving himself?

And thus the annual migration, albeit later than usual, from frigid northern Midwestern Illinois to not so frosty and palm filled Southwestern Florida has begun. And in the process I realize I'm a little idiotic for thinking my summer PJs would be more than adequate for the first night. I'm going to freeze my butt off here. xp

That new game Rumblekitten for the iOS devices is so new it doesn't want to even open. I'm not about to scrap the app because it crashes half a second after being tapped. So I went through the process of dealing with a ticket for their mobile games. Their auto response "Hey we got your email but it's going to take a day or two to get a personalized reply out to you" email needs to be updated because A. they don't have Summer Springs anymore and B. they need to add in Rumblekitten to the list of reasons not to click the link to the ticket queue.
