Ever scowled. "I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt because she asked me to today. What a mistake THAT was! Well, you can just stand out here and ponder more about your little girlfriend while I take in these drinks."
She reached over and took up the tray of drinks Ares had conjured and put down on the table. "Thank you for conjuring them."
She started to walk back toward her room.

"You don't have to, Caroline," Ari said, smiling. "It's my dare. If you want, though, we can have the bottle land on you and have you do something even crazier!" she said, laughing. Caroline just totally seemed the type to do something bat-s**t crazy for no good reason. Feeling eyes on her, she went at sat back down next to Musica while nervously fiddling with her swimsuit again.

"Pffft. Sure!" Carolie was back to her good ole self now. "I can do a lot of crazy things.... I learned it all from my mother." She smiled fondly, thinking of her parents. They were an extremely high-class family with all sorts of business connections.
"I bet I could get us all a private jet to Fiji in two hours."

Musica's eyes widened when he heard the dare chosen for her. He had seen the lake on his way up there that morning, he could sense the magic and mystique of the place. A shiver ran up his spine at the image of Ari swimming in the unknown waters, without vision to even see the dangers. He knew in his mind that moment that he would go with her to the waters and watch for her safety. "I suppose I'll play lifeguard then for this dare, if you want y'all can hop in to what room is left in my truck to get there more quickly. I can't really remember the distance from this morning."

Ares watched her leave for a moment, not responding until she was almost too far to hear. Then he turned so he wouldn't be facing her. "...If anyone were my little girlfriend," he said, strangely docile, "it would be you." He didn't want Aphrodite to be his girlfriend or his lover or his anything romantic anymore. He simply didn't, and hadn't for a long time.

Ever managed to balance the tray of drinks on her arm and open the door with her other hand. She then walked into her room, smiling brightly.
"Hello everyone! Drinks, courtesy of my brother Eric! There's about every flavor of pop and juice on here!"
She walked over to the group and put the tray of drinks on the coffee table by the chocolate. It was then that she saw that a piece of paper was sticking out from under all the chocolate on the tray. Trying to be subtle about it, she reached her hand out and took the note quickly. With her back to everyone, she looked down at the scrawled words.
Then, after realizing that the note had to be from Ares since he conjured the chocolate for her, she smiled softly.

Waiting a few moments, long enough for the door to shut once more and remain so before he reached it, Ares sighed and pushed himself off the window and to the door. Before opening it, he reverted his appearance back to that of 'Eric'--horrible makeup and all.
Opening the door, he sighed. "Wanna go now or wait?" he asked the group, gesturing to the general vicinity of outside the school, where the lake was and the dare would take place.

Looking at Musica, Aurora shook her head. "That will not be necessary," she said. "The lake is not so far from a large window that is very easy to open on the ground floor." She glanced to Evermore's window, and the lake outside. "In fact, it may be just about directly below us."

Musica nodded, a little relieved that it wouldn't be necessary. The poor old truck he'd have for so many years couldn't handle much, and several rowdy teens would probably be too much for it. "All right, just making sure. And yea I'm ready whenever the rest of you are ready." He said looking at Ares, internally chuckling at all the girls had done to his face. He really knew now he couldn't flirt with him in the least.

Ever, now in a much better mood after reading that note, turned around, smiled at everyone and shook her head.
"The lake's not almost directly below us. It's about 20 feet away, so, I'll meet you all down there."
She ran up to her window, turned her back to the open window, smirked at everyone and then fell backwards out the window with a happy laugh following her. The light fairy followed quickly after her, her own high-pitched laugh echoing in the room as well.

"Huh, Don't see that every day now do you?" he asked himself shuffling a bit making the leaves that covered his head, neck and shoulders give off a noise similar to a tree being shaken.

Aurora sighed and rolled her eyes ever-so-slightly. "Show-off," she murmured, before she too decided to meet them there. "I will take my own way."
She then transformed into a little brown bird and flew out the window to the lake, landing just a few feet from its shores and returning to human form.

Ares scowled, watching Evermore just dive out the window. He didn't pay much mind as Aurora also fluttered out. Just great. Now he'd be stuck leading these weirdoes. "C'mon," he grumbled, moving from the doorway and starting down the hall.
