Hrorik had not been listening since Elrothiel hadn't acknowledged Amaroq's presence and was glaring at the lady elf considering heading out of the forest. "I'm sorry lass, but I didn't hear ya. My attention was elsewhere," the last bit Hrorik grumbled only loud enough for Nonnah to hear. "I'll tell ya one thing though," he whispered to Nonnah,"I don't like her one bit. She was very rude indeed to Amaroq for not even acknowledging his presence! Now, what did ya ask me earlier lass?"

"Twas nothin but a joke," She wispered back. "Tell you the truth, I think she's changed. Good way or bad way, I cannot tell. But I'm starting to agree with you." She grinned, "And your big ball oof fluff whom I never gained respect from." Sraitening up, she just looked casual, awaiting for maybe an introduction, or a spot for her to say somthing.

Hrorik chuckled and whispered in reply,"That ball o' fluff that you being referring to considers you more of a friend and that is better getting bowed ta. I can tell ya that much." Amaroq, however, walked over a nearby patch of grass that was under a tree and laid down to watch this play out.

"Thank you." Elrothiel murmured. She glanced over his shoulder at Nonnah and Hrorik. "I think I know her." She muttered softly, puzzled. "I can't remember right now... My head is pounding." She sighed, then switched her gaze to Hrorik. "He's offended." She added unnecessarily. "Truth be told I can barely stand, never mind about bowing to wolves, but I'd rather they didn't know that." She gave a wry smile. "My race is a proud one. I have inherited that flaw."

((Afterdark, your talkin to Ranu right?))
Nonnah winked at Hrorik in reply. Her eyes wandered to a ladybug, gently floating along the air, landing in perfect movment on a strong blade of grass. She watched as it nibbled gentley on the leaf, compleatly oblivious to other suroundings.

Hrorik replied with a small edge to his tone,"I'm sorry miss, but I'm thinking you're mistaking Amaroq to be one of those dull and dumb animals of yours. Most creatures in middle earth cannot outwit or outsmart Amaroq if my clan legends be true and so far most of them have been right. Anyway, my point is that Amaroq would never attack a wounded female. Unless, of course, it was a prey animal that was going to suffer and then die anyway, but let's not get into that. Besides all that, I would rather you called the "wolf" as you so called him either Amaroq or he, him something like that. He has earned at least that much."

Ranu let a thin smile cross his face, "Thats Nonnah. She claims she went to elf school with you." He frowned lightly at her, crossing his arms as he did, "what happened after we got seperated." He held out a hand, "Actually, that can wait. You must rest."

Yo ho Haul together Not really paying attention, she glanced up at her name, then returned to watch the ladybug. But when her attention wasn't on the bug for that fraction of a second, the ladybug was gone. Nonnah sighed and awaited for any reconization again. Hoist the colours high

Hrorik and Amaroq had decided to find themselves a place to sleep. Amaroq found a clump of bushes and nestled inside them even with his size. Hrorik, however, climbed up a tree with an agility no one would've expected of him. He sat on a thick limb about midway up the tree above Amaroq. It was in these places that the two decided to fall asleep.

Elrothiel took the offered hand, grateful for his support. "It will have been several hundred years ago then, minimum. There have been a lot of new faces since my days at Rivendell. I probably couldn't name eight out of ten of them right now." She waded slowly out of the river, shivering slightly. "It's not such a long sotry." She replied. "Better get it over with." I was with a half-orc and another human when we were ambushed by the Uruk-Hai. There were several hundred against three. They took them alive but because I was an elf they hit me with the flats until I was practically unconscious then ran me through with my own sword. The magic in the blade aids penetration and makes the wounds harder to heal. Quite ironic really." She sighed. "I came round, pulled the blade out, bandaged it as best I could and made for Minas Tirith. I crossed the border a day or so ago. And you?"

"Little to tell," Ranu replied, looking at her worriedly. "I got caught up and ambushed while alone. Nonnah helped me, but lost her wings after. We came across Hrorik later. He helped us find you." He looked at her again, frowning. "I could always use wind magic to help you. It'd make a bandage of sorts.
