Vahn Kyonuske Lately the area where I work has become increasingly violent, or whatever. Guy at a gastation two blocks away was robbed at gunpoint with a shotgun. Week later, at the BurgerKing a block away, an armed gunman came in and confronted the manager, who had a gun as well. They both shot each other Wild West style. The robber died, and the manager is still in the hospital. Today, armed dude comes in trying to hold us up. My shift manager throws a pot of coffee into his face and I go sliding across the counter, tackling into him, while a regulare customer helps from behind. Gun didn't come go off and I really felt like I was gonna s**t my pants or something. But I saw what my shift manager was going to do, and I already told myself I ain't dying for no retarded reasons. The adrelaline rush was pretty cool but we were all pretty shaky afterwards. Oh.my.god.
They HAVE to give you the time off now... and then I'm not letting you go back crying heart
-clings and kisses-
I'm glad you're okay ashke, so very glad.

Don't they usually have a company policy that you're not supposed to do anything at a robbery? I remember with us you could get fired for doing something, because they don't want to have to pay out worker's comp or ******** policy, lay into the guy when he's not looking.

Lol.. we didn't get thanksgiving off... nor do we have christmas off.
I doubt I;m getting away with another week.. but I am trying to see if I can.
Anyways.. it might not be a problem 'cause I have a job interview tomorrow morning for an insurance company thing.
So here's hoping I can move up somewhat in the world.
Edit: I expect if thats true I'll get yelled at tomorrow by the owners.
I really don't know about any of that sort of stuff.
