Ninja: Dont beliebe the MegaPixel myth. Megapixels dont realy influence quality till you get into pictures that are poster size, and even then 8 would usualy cut it. for a 3x5 or something 5 is least you need. And yeah im not doing professional cause yeah i think when you do film is better but i dont do that. So

Megapixels aso have to do with retouching. If you're on photoshop or something not much you can do zoomed in with a 2 mp camera compared to a 7+

Well your half agreeing and half disagreeing.
no one uses 2mp anymore. Anything above 5 will work with photoshop, cropping, resizing and everything till you get to poster size like a movie poster. 5 or 6 would work just fine, 12 mp or even the new 16 mp youd be paying $1500 for when a 6mp cam ad 300$ wil do the same thing. so my cam is 7.1, more then enough XD.
