{{Oops, that was a bit of God-moding right? Crap.}}
"A little," she admited. Then paused. "A lot." Sighing, she turned away, to follow Amaroq and Hrorik, Hoping Ranu would drop the subject. Nonnahas well admired the strong sense of smell that wolf has. She liked wolves. There sound, additude, size, bravery, wepons, streangth, way of life, everything. Just pure power, she admired silently in her mind.

((@Ranu: I won't grass, but I'm never going to be able to see him again without sniggering every time I think of this. xd @Troy: Ok.))

[Especially if I make my infamous horse noise. xd ]
Ranu held a hand to meet his loyal friend and companion, fussing his ear as the horse gave a soft whinny. Ranu looked at the horses leg and his eyes narrowed at the soft cutting out of his fur. He ignored Nonnahas' comments totally.

Elrothiel closed her eyes, focusing on listening as it was easier. "I don't hear anything within a couple of leagues." She answered as she opened them again. "Though obviously I'm not as confident now as I would normally be." She sighed, scrutinizing the undergrowth on her side of the track. "It's a good place for an ambush."

{good luck with that}
She hoped on her buckskin stallion, and looked on at Ranu exactly three seconds, then rushed off after The wolf and his rider. Ignorence is bliss, She commented silently.

Then see you in heaven. Ranu though, reading the look. He spurred Sailas into a gallop. The horse raced after the wolf.

As Amaroq raced in and out of the trees following the irregular trail of the elf woman. It was as if the poor elf had faded into unconsciousness and the horse had started making its own way through the forest. "It t'would seem that the lady elf fainted and the horse took over from there. Hmm...I think we might find where she stopped," Hrorik said thoughtfully.

The word 'uncious' hit Ranu like a fist. With darkness so strong, an elf was a target and if they were unconcious... Making a fist in Sailas' flank, Ranu muttered something to the horse which sped up.

Then, while running, Amaroq howled and immediately began to quicken his pace and turned to the right. "He's found a fresh trail that crosses the old one. That means she is conscious. At least for now that is."

((Troy hasn't been her since the 17th so I'm going to post anyway. He can always catch up later.))
Elrothiel looked up with a frown, hearing a howl. It was closer than she would have thought possible without her noticing it. She stilled Sol, turning back the way she had come with a frown, picking up the faint rustling of the trees and then blocking it out as she turned her senses outwards. She could only just hear horses, but it was enough to reassure her that it was at least not the orc party from before. Which didn't mean they were friendly. Her first instinct would always have been to fight, but that wasn't even an option. She had to get off the road, which meant dismounting. She slid off Sol's back, wincing as she hit the ground slightly harder than she had anticipated. Looping her hands in the reins, she whispered to Sol in elvish, before releasing them, drawing her bow as she leant on Sol, moving slowly backwards into the undergrowth, walking carefully so that her feet did not leave any clues as to where she had gone.

Knowing Ranu's emotion, she for once kept silent. Her friend had not been friendly, like he once was, and Amara was sadend by the thought. Following the sharp turn, Her horse elegantly prance the tight corner with ease.

Amaroq came to a stop after a while because the visible trail had ended with the hoofprints and Hrorik slid off Amaroq and looked at the ground. "Blasted elf, making it difficult to find her. This is one reason why I don't like tracking elves, they make it bloody hard to find 'em," complained Hrorik. However, Amaroq kept sniffing around the end of the trail and began to head towards the bushes.

Elrothiel knew the exact moment they entered the bushes. Humans were not quiet travellers and the wold they had with them left even more signs of its passing to anyone who was accustomed to the sounds of a forest. The fact that the wolf was still managing to track her was a nuisance but nothing she couldn't handle. She debated confronting the humans, but decided it was foolhardy, instead continuing through the trees unhurriedly. It would take the humans, especially with the wolf, as long to get through as it would take her, even injured. She whispered encouragement to Sol, following the signs of richer plant life and subtle sound of dripping to leave her to the river. It was far from full with only a slow current, but it should be enough to confuse the scent. Leading Sol carefully into the middle of it, she commanded him to stay in elvish before going back to cover the subtle tracks that showed where the horse had passed before returning to Sol. Deciding she wasn't going to bother fighting the current, she led him downstream, shivering as the cold seeped into her clothes up to the knees.

Amaroq had gone through the brush with ease and almost as much for Hrorik. For a while the wolf was sure he was hearing the elf going through the brush, but then he heard nothing, but the soft sound of shoes quietly crunching dirt. "Well, I don't know if the elf knows, but good ole Amaroq here has more than just his nose. He once had to rely on his hearing alone to get back to his pack or so my family legend says," speaks up Hrorik as they make their way through the brush.

She smiled at the wonders of natures handiwork, but had trouble with her own horse. Hopping off in a gentle glide, she soothed and encouraged the normally-brave horse through the tough terrain of the bushe's wrath. Finniialy, the horse gave up and walked through, then while still following the wolf, she hoped up on the horse yet again.
