I think a big part of the godmodding issue came from me not being too clear on what the actual powers of the Ancients are and being kind of in a hurry to post so not double-checking everything... Both of which, at least at the moment, are caused by my laptop being out of order >.<
I just figured because the Ancients have control over earth magic, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume they could make an underground hallway collapse, much like an average strength earthquake... But I forgot not everyone might be aware that they use earth magic instead of Nanzzy's usual fire sweatdrop Either way, it's best to just put it behind us now ^^

Yeah, when it was still a joke it was fine, and actually kind of funny as a running gag, especially with that ridiculously long name... But it became less of a joke when people started using it seriously and kinda forgot the origins ^^;;

That sounds like a good plan of action, and since you were the one who came up with the trench in the first place, I trust we can leave this in your hands ^^ Kate's idea for making a comprehensive guide to the trench certainly didn't sound so bad, for starters 3nodding ))

alright. why are they good guesses? is your birthday in the beginning of the month?

I understand what you are getting at and I think the main reason that everyone got upset was because of the abruptness of the action. I think you really should have spoken to all of us about this before making an executive decision and destroying it. I think a lot of people would have understood your reasoning and would have given to okay to crush the Defense Trench. The abruptness and seemingly randomness of your action was what made people mad. To be fair, I do think that you god modded a tiny amount, but that is besides the point and is best left ignored.

With that said, once again, I completely understand and agree with what you stated about the Defense Trench itself. The Defense Trench has always been a little vague and has been a little too strong in its extreme defense measures. This is due to the fact that its origin first began as a joke before it began to evolve and evolve until it became an actuality in the thread's RP world.

Taking into consideration the difficulty there is in gaining access to the Defense Trench, I think that it would be fine to take the month of October to "rebuild" it with more specifics as to what it is, how it is defended, and make the Defense Trench strong, but not over powered in its defense. I am fine with working this out, however, before I do so I am going to speak with the other thread regulars about this issue to gain their perspective on the matter.
