Lord Raven had heard word of Ritzu's rushing off and he had grown curious about what had her so excited. Deciding to find out and see what she hurried out to get, he sent word to the group Tala was with that he wanted her delayed and for them to see what was in the back. He wanted them to be discreet about it and to show him, or tell him if it was not something they could grab, that had her so worked up. This also was to give him some fun to see how Ritzu would handle the situation against the skilled group.

He had already intercepted the guard that was trying to find Ritzu to give her the same he got from the homeless man in Lady Snake's city. Raven had the hair analyzed and was impressed that he was told it matched with the presumed dead criminal Lysin. He sent out an aid to help set up road blocks to slow down Ritzu and to work with his hired help.

"Let's see what had you so high go to zoom out without a word to your leader." He said softly to himself as he waited patiently, watching on a screen from a hidden camera on the aid he sent so he could see what was going on for an interesting show. He had no doubt it would be very interesting and wouldn't disappoint.

Ritzu was heading back to the city, grinning ear to ear excited, not the least bit worried. "I cannot believe it. Finally, I get to see what she is and how she has magic yet isn't in the system. Oh I'm going to have so much fun examining you and testing your limits." She said to herself inside the cabin, trying not to start laughing in her giddy joy.

In the back Fire groaned, starting to stir as she was trying to fight against the sedative she had been hit with. It was wearing off but not fast enough to her liking and it was making her head hurt as well. She also still had her earpiece in as well and currently had gotten turned off. She grunted as a bump was hit then she tried to open her eyes, only for them to close after they opened due to seeing it was pitch black.

She didn't know where she was or where she was going. She also had no idea how much time had passed. Another worry she had was for Leaf and Tool, hoping they were alright and safe. Fire also had no idea that when Creed had left he had taken the necklace her mother gave her with those engraved words. But when she would it would be a day to fear as she cherished her personal belongings from her parents that had survived.

Ritzu looked to her phone to check the time then looked up ahead as she continued. "Just to get inside, get to the castle, park around back and take in my prize. She should still be out but...I'll make sure to have some extra seditive just in case she woke up. Be bad if I got taken down by a little thing like that." She said to herself, wondering where Creed had been and if the young woman had killed him. No way she killed him. He's too bullheaded to be taken out by something as untrained as her. She thought.

When Ritzu entered the city she slowed down so not to get in trouble for going too fast through. She eventually would slow down when coming to one block and frowned. "What? There's not to be anything happening this month." she muttered and turned down a different street to bypass the block and came back out, continuing on once back on the main street.

If the block by the group was set up she would come to a stop and give a very frustrated look to anyone there. If someone was she would get out, her whip nearby in her vehicle and step sternly towards who she saw, if there was someone, "What's going on here? Why is the road blocked?" she'd ask if someone was there.

If someone wasn't then she'd look to see if she could find anyone as well as go check to make sure she could get down another way to bypass the block once more. She was sure in either case her prize wasn't going anywhere since the back of the truck was locked.

Inside if someone came around to hack the lock and get inside, Fire would groan, trying to wake up and get the sedative shook off to get woken up more. She also was trying to get her head to clear up so she could think. Right now her mind felt like it was still in a fog and she hated it, she also hated at against her restraints it felt as if her limbs were weak pieces of paper with no omphf to do anything against the metal on her wrists and ankles to keep her put.

Fire would also be without her cloak so she was exposed in her elbow length shirt, jeans, and brown boots. Her hair had come loose and fell around her face, showing its redish hue with the icy blue tips that one could say was dyed yet if looked closer then it could be seen her hair coloring was natural. She tried to open her eyes again, getting them barely opened.

If the door had been opened she would wince hissing and close them tight before opening them just barely again. They would be slightly glazed over from the remaining sedative in her system but she would be confused and curious to who it was that opened the doors since it wouldn't look like the woman Ritzu. She would be curious then if she would be left in the truck to her unfortunate fate as a test subject or saved. She never had a thought come to mind that something worse than being Ritzu's lab rat could happen or possibly be in her future.

If no one opened the doors then she would close her eyes and keep trying to make her body move more to how she wanted it to try and get out of her restraints. If the door was opened and she was left there then she'd hope she would stay alive long enough to get back to Leaf and Tool, or be allowed to get back to them somehow. If she was taken then she would try to struggle but her movements were clumsy and somewhat sluggish due to her muscles not having fully waken up as it'd be at least a good hour or so before it would be fully out of her system.

With an ally in the right place, it wasn't very difficult for the gang to find themselves several Uniforms which they would don before splitting up and heading out towards their allocated checkpoints.

Estel - the unnamed female from before, and Anji took guard on the road block towards the East - Dante's initial suspicion was that the scientist would come back in the way she left, but there was always the chance she'd try to slip in through another route, hence the pair's posting. Logir and Renn were assigned to join the blockade the main entrance, this would be a backup and a more likely chance if the lesser streets were sealed off...

Their Leader himself had chosen the task of infiltrating Ritzu's laboratory to look for clues as to what the woman might just be up to - there was obviously no guarantee he'd find anything, but if he could find something that might lead to a conclusion - or anything that would prove interesting regardless, then he was tasked to relieve it from its location and present it to the Lord himself.

It wouldn't be long before the van pulled up outside the eastern roadblock, Anji and Estel would remain off to the side whilst the guards turned their gaze towards the approaching vehicle, but when Ritzu made the decision to turn off and head away, the pair quickly called in the news to the others and moved off to act as backup should the need arise.

"Reported drug runners in the area." Logir had advanced before the sentry could leave their post and immediately answered the scientist's question when asked. "We've been ordered to search every inbound vehicle for contraband." As a tall, well built male, Logir had seemed the best choice, his face was hidden behind a soldier-helmet, but his visor was lifted to reveal his eyes, not that it made him any less unnerving... "We'll walk the dog round, but if he shows any sign of finding something, we'll have to ask you to open the back so we can search." He guessed this would rile the female, but his expression was stoic, hiding any hint of suspicion or guilt...

Renn used the distraction to make his way around the vehicle, tugging the handle before waving over a soldier to stand watch whilst he drew a small set of lockpicks from a pouch on his belt and got to work, "Keep her busy, bud." he mused to himself as the sentry stood guard. There was no point in forcing the lock as that would draw attention and leave them liable to assault...but with Renn's quick fingers and the guard doing as told, the skinny male swiftly found his way inside, cracking open the door slightly before peering in.

"Holy...!" Renn's eyes widened as he realised there was a body inside, moreso when he saw that it was restrained... As carefully as he could, he slid into the back of the van, "Hello there Beautiful," he whispered as he moved close, "Your Prince has arrived." Not caring if she was friend or foe, he gently moved her to the edge of the van before hopping out and lifting her into his arms. "Let's get you underground." he nodded to one of the guards who closed the back of the van as quietly as he could before walking around the front with his dog - This would be the distraction that would allow Renn to slip into an alleyway unnoticed.

"He's not picking up on anything." the soldier glanced down at the guard dog which tilted its head cautiously before sitting down with a yawn, "I'd say it's all clear."

"Looks like you're free to pass." Logir had guessed Renn had found something of interest as he was no longer amongst the guards at the back of the vehicle, but that didn't leave Dante very long to look around Ritzu's lab... Once the scientist had left, he would radio into Dante to keep his head up and move quickly...

Renn on the other hand, had taken Fire through a hidden walkway, covering the entrance before carrying the female down one of the long tunnels and towards the gang's 'sick-bay'. It would be some time before they arrived, but once there, he would lay her down on a comfortable bed and loosen her bindings, "Dante'll have my head for bringing you here without letting him know, but at least you'll be safe from that Witch for now." he gently brushed the female's hair from her face, almost enchanted by the colour,

~*~*~

Their Leader had taken a rather different approach to the uniform that his comrades had adorned, dressed in a labcoat and flatteringly tight scrubs, he and Jesse - who had opted for a more comfortable look - passed through security and into the halls which would lead them towards Ritzu's section. He knew time would be short, but he planned to gather as much information as he could before taking his leave and paying a certain Owl a visit...

"Keep an ear out for the radio." reaching the scientist's desk, Dante cast a glance back at his comrade before starting his search, "I've no idea what we're looking for, but if you find anything, give me a shout."

Without needing to be told, Jesse had already taken to one of the computers, attempting to hack into its code before typing in keywords that might just lead them to an answer. She'd not seen much of Ritzu herself, but it wasn't hard to think of certain words and phrases that would allow her into the main hub of the scientist's work... Her eyes scanned the words as they scrolled up the screen, there were notes made of concoctions and potions, something about morphing and poisons, but nothing of any real interest...

The radio crackled into life and Dante lifted his gaze from a handful of documents he'd been flicking through before sitting up in his seat and putting them all back as he'd found them. "Not sure if it was them..." he exhaled a sigh, "But we'd better move out." he looked to Jesse who seemingly ignored him, "Jess."

The female's eyes had stopped on something, a mention of Fire and Ice, a scientist by the name of Creed and something about a Trap, but the touch of her leader's hand on her arm made her flinch and she instinctively shut the file down before pushing away from the screen.

"Find anything?" he tilted his head as she stood,

"Can't say..." she shook her head, then looked towards the door, "Move time?"

"Let's go." Dante nodded, waiting until she was ready before leading the way towards the doors.

If Ritzu had arrived back at base by the time the pair had left the lab, then they would pass one another along the corridor without a word, Jesse kept her eyes low, but Dante allowed his to wander ever so slightly as they walked by. They'd found nothing, so technically if she twigged they were up to no good, they couldn't be held accountable for anything...but they still needed to be cautious.

Ritzu was annoyed snorting with arms folded. "You seriously thought I'd bother smuggling drugs in? You all are wasting money and my time." She watches the guy with the dog, not aware of what was happening behind her vehicle.

Fire tried to move but ended up relaxing into his arms as she was carried, closing her eyes and resting her head against his chest.

When given the all clear Ritzu looked at the one with the dog then to the other. "About time, you guys need to learn to speed up your searches. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to return to my quarters, thank you very much." She snaps and gets back inside her truck, starts and drives on once allowed passage.

She would return and pull in, parking and went to make sure she had the space ready before she'd carry her prize in to start testing. She walked past the pair leaving, slowing down to eye them, her body tensing but she had to focus to get her prize in. She thought it all went smoothly but later when she went back for Fire would unleash a scream of frustration and anger.

Quickly she rushed out and began to look around carefully the grounds to not see Fire. She didn't understand as the door had been locked yet Fire was gone. Her fists tightened and she growled furious. Is it she had a third magic? she thought angered and went to her lab to cool down and think.

Fire when laid down would softly moan after her hair was brushed back. She heard his words but until her body was free of the medicine she was having trouble with focusing. If he brushed her hair back enough and looked he would see her earpiece inside her ear. If not then he wouldn't.

Eventually she started to open her eyes gradually and started to look up at the ceiling then slowly to Renn, looking him over and noticed the restraints had been loosened and began to move her body to get them off fully. It took a few moments before it dawned on her she had no idea where she was, who he was, or who this Dante was.

"Um....thank you..." she said softly looking Renn over again some. "Who....who are you? Where am I? Who is Dante?" she questioned while starting to try and sit up but her body laid back down, liking the soft warmth of the bed as compared to the hard metal of the back of Ritzu's truck.

"My...my friends...." Fire muttered softly, worry in her eyes as she had no idea how Leaf and Tool were doing. Small bits of liquid was starting to lightly pool around the outer corners of her eyes as she looked down closing her eyes some. "....were...was anyone else with me when you found me?" she questioned while looking at him again, her body tense but starting to relax as the medicine was wearing off and was nearing its end.

If told it was polite to introduce ones own self first then Fire would try to decide which to introduce herself as, her real name or code name. She didn't recognize him and if she had been driven a while she wasn't in Delta so using her real name couldn't cause harm, could it? If asked for her name first she would introduce herself as Viola with stating some call her Fire due to her fiery attitude.

If he took her earpiece she wouldn't notice right away but if she saw it she'd feel herself tense and start assuming perhaps she was in enemy hands after all. If he left it alone then she'd stay relaxed but be wondering if it'd even work since it had been upgraded a week or so ago by Tool due to her going out more. If it was taken but she not see it then she'd stay relaxed as she wouldn't notice it missing right off the bat unless she saw it was out of her ear or went to use it and felt it gone.

If asked she would explain she had no idea why the woman wanted her except there could be one reason but she wasn't sure it was alright to say. She'd also say she was first caught by a man named Creed who she then described along with his words he used to describe himself and Ritzu. She would leave out the burning down his apartment part. If asked about her friends she would leave them as being called 'friends' so not to risk putting targets on their backs by using their code names.

"The name's Renn," Renn smiled, he hadn't noticed the earpiece but averted his gaze when she asked where she was, Dante didn't really like people to know they were under the city - all part of being the shadowy rogues they'd become known as, but then again, Dante had brought Tala down without quibble... "Hmm...Let's just say there's a wide variety of tunnels to search before anyone can find us," he looked back at her, logging her features to memory before remembering her third question, "Dante's our leader, he doesn't know you're here yet, but he should understand when I tell him how I found you." he moved the restraints away from the bed, not liking the things and so casting them across the room, "Hey, hey, don't cry," feeling a little uncomfortable, he scanned the room for a rag of some sort so she could dry her eyes before looking back somewhat defeated as he clearly failed to see anything beside the sheets, "It was just you in the back of the van, if that helps you feel better?" he wasn't very good when girls cried, but he tilted his head, trying to smile in the hopes it would leave her smiling as well..

~*~*~

"The only problem is, I don't really have anything to tell him..." Dante frowned as he and Jesse reached the safety of the main hall, "She wouldn't just rush out for no reason - she's crazy, but not without her reasons...I guess..." kicking off his boots, he sat on the arm of the couch before falling back onto the cushions, "Raven's gonna be wanting something from the search..."

"No luck on the recon mission then?" Anji and Estel entered from another tunnel, removing their headgear before setting it aside and hitting the kitchen area, "Looked like she was in a rush when she hit our stop, maybe she keeps it on her person?" It was an attempt by Anji to be optimistic, but when Dante felt defeated, it often took some time for him to mull over a plan of action.

"So what happened to the kid?" Estel who had been present when Dante had first brought Tala down was now starting to wonder where the youth had gotten to, "We haven't scared him off already have we?" she tilted her head, leaning against the counter as she waited for an answer,

Jesse lifted her gaze at the mention of the male whom she'd led to the city border only hours beforehand, she had of course left him to his own in the marketplace, but it was only now that the thought dawned on her that maybe he'd take the location of their dwelling to the guards or other less trustworthy people in the city... Excusing herself, she made her way up the nearest tunnel, finding her way towards the surface before heading in the direction of Cyrus's apartment.

~*~*~

Tala on the other hand had started to tire in his waiting for the Hunter to show... he'd lost track of the hours he's sat quietly watching, his eyes scanning every passer by for some recognising feature that would tell him that Cyrus had come to find him...but this had clearly been for nought...

Now it was getting dark, the light was disappearing behind the buildings and the streetlamps were starting to flicker into life... Anyone else might just have taken their leave by now and attempted to find their own way home, but Tala remained seated like the hopeful puppy waiting for his owner to return...

"Loitering is an arrestable offence." The voice made the youth stiffen and he snapped round, shrinking back a little as his eyes settled upon the soldier who towered above him.

His mind raced for something smart to say in reply, but words wouldn't come...At least, not until the soldier gave a chuckle and pulled off his helmet. "How long have you been waiting here kid?" Logir tucked his helmet beneath his arm before leaning against the wall,

"You...?" the male's name had escaped him, but Tala felt a wash of relief when he recognised his face, "Erm...A few hours I guess?" he lifted his eyes, then watched as Logir sat down beside him, spreading his arms across the bench before exhaling a sigh,

"I'd say it was longer than that...More like half a day at least." The male tilted his head back for a moment before turning his gaze towards the youth, "You really don't know the way back, do you?" he noted the somewhat embarrassed look on Tala's face, then moved to stand, pulling on his helmet before ruffling the youth's hair, "C'mon kid, let's get back to base, we'll look for the old guy in the morning."

~*~*~

Jesse watched from the shadows of a nearby alleyway as the Hunter made his way back along the street towards home. She'd already visited the apartment looking for Tala, but the youth had been nowhere in sight, so she'd returned to the street to wait.
Now, as Cyrus walked into sight, she took the moment to scrutinise the man... It was clear he was exhausted, but he held himself well until he got inside.

Having already scouted a route up to their window, Jesse made her way up to where she now crouched, watching the man through the glass as he removed his coat, hanging it on the door but paying it little more than a glance as it slid from its place onto the floor... He disappeared for a moment out of the room, the faint clunking could be heard through the open window and Jesse assumed he was hitting the fridge, her suspicions confirmed when the man returned with two bottles and a plate of something before crashing out on the couch. "...Lazy bum." she frowned, watching as he flicked off the cap sealing the beer in the bottle before taking a swig and leaning back against the tainted cushions...

She wasn't quite sure how it had happened, but something drew the man's attention to the window and within seconds, he was on his feet. Jesse withdrew, launching herself up the connecting ladder as the Hunter threw open the window and reached out - his hand just missing her heel as she slipped out of reach.

It was stunning how quickly he moved and as she pulled herself up onto the rooftop he was just moments behind her.

"Nowhere to run." he frowned,

"I'm surprised you made it up here." Jesse retorted, her hand flicking back towards hidden weapons should she need them, "The way you looked I'd have assumed you were done for the night."

"I was." Cyrus had moved so quickly he still had a hand towel draped over his shoulder, "Why were you at my window?" he scowled, "Are you a spy? Because there's nothing here for you to see."

"I've seen quite enough to know you're a bad carer for your charge." The wind blew between them, ruffling the tufts of hair that had escaped her hood during the climb. "I bet you haven't even checked in on him, right?" she narrowed her eyes,

"How would you know about my charge?" How had she come to know about Tala? She must be a spy, he'd done his best to keep the youth safe so nobody would suspect he'd been a slave of the Tigress herself... "Sometimes he needs his space...He's had it rough these last few weeks..."

"Rough or not, have you even bothered to open the door and seen he's even alive?!"

Cyrus was quiet for a moment, then he started to suspect something had happened to the boy in his absence... "What have you done to him?!" he advanced, but stopped as Jesse drew a blade from her belt, holding it out, point first towards him,

"I've done nothing." She scowled at his accusation, "But I do know he thought you'd be worried." she took a step back, feeling with her heel for the edge, "Which you clearly aren't." she made a motion with the blade, then sheathed it. "I would think he's probably wandering the city like a stray now, or perhaps he's waiting, hoping you'll find him? Who knows, but with your lack of parenting skills, he'll probably dead before sunrise."

"If you know where he is, you had better tell me!" Cyrus stepped forward, hoping to grab her and push for information, "If you've hurt him!" He gave a snarl as she twisted away from his grasp and hopped onto the ledge,

"Just know that he's probably in a much better place now." she smirked, turning round and jumping from the ledge. She knew Cyrus would rush to see where she had fallen, but with a small suspension system build into her belt, she would release a cable which would slam into a nearby wall and allow her to swing around into the nearby alleyway and out of sight.

The Hunter would curse the lack of consistency in his care for the youth and rush back down to the apartment, forcing his way into Tala's room in the hopes the male was still there...he would find to his great concern that the bed lay untouched - a thin scattering of dust had settled on a glass of water by his bedside table and Cyrus knew it was his fault that the youth had gone.

Sobered by the thought that Tala could have gotten himself into trouble, he rushed for the door, snatching his coat from the floor and wasting only a few precious seconds to lock the door behind him before making haste for the stairs...

Fire listened closely slowly wiped her eyes sighing. "Sorry, it's just....well I'm glad they weren't with me. I just hope they are okay." She said as she forced her body to sit up with the restraints off. She leaned back against the headboard of the bed, looking to Renn, taking the name and his features to memory.

She debated about which name to give him so decided on giving him both. As it stood she didn't have much to worry as she knew she wasn't in Delta. Before she introduced herself she listened and was not impressed by the answer for where she was. But at least that much told her at least something of her current location. Fire then listened about Dante, pondering how he would compare to Silver in ways of being a leader for Renn and most likely others since she took opinion it wasn't just a two person thing where she had been brought.

Wiping her eyes again she composed her voice, taking a breath and exhaled. "My name is Viola but some call me Fire due to my tendency to be hot headed and have a short fuse. It does seem quiet and nice down here." Seeing him smile brought her to also smile and she wasn't sure why but she liked the way his smile looked.

"Do you really think he'll accept me here or do you think he'll turn me over to whoever is in charge of the city?" she asked curiously. "Or will he give me back to Ritzu?" she shivered at the thought then her mind snapped to Creed and she moved towards Renn. "Do you know a man by the name of Creed? He was the one who had called her and taunted me. He went though my things and he....well I'm afraid he's working with her and if he is then he might get my friends should he know I have any."

Her tone first was quick fired and inquiring then ended on a slightly more somber and worried note. Getting off the topic worrying her in her mind, she pulled her legs up closer and crossed them then looking to the bed then back to Renn she thought some over what her mind was catching up on until the question hit her about how he found her. "Say um...am I allowed to ask just how you found me? I mean...that vehicle doesn't really have any windows so how was it you thought to look in there for me?"

She leaned towards him, locking eyes with his. "And how did you get it opened? It was locked, right? And why did you help me? I'm just some random stranger who could be a murderer for all you know." She wasn't angry but was feeling confused and wanting answers if he could provide them. She was leaving out the fact she had been the one to take down Lord Dragon and took the assumption that, since he didn't ask or mention them, he hadn't looked or seen the scars left behind on her body. At least I know he's not a sick pervert to undo women's clothing as they are knocked out. She thought pleased.

She would let the moments pass by for her answers, if he could give them before she'd speak again with more questions. "Do you work with Ritzu? Who do you work for? What city am I in?" She sighed, leaning back and laughed lightly as she raised a hand to rest near her smiling lips. "Sorry for all my questions it's just...you get knocked out in Delta then you wake up somewhere else. It's a little confusing and a bit jarring as well."

Fire would listen to Renn but one of her ears twitched thinking she heard faint noises. She would keep that to herself as she paid attention to Renn, but did feel a sense of confirmation about there being a bigger group than just two people. Her mind began to question about who they were, starting to drift until it returned.

"Um...do you hear voices?" she asked only when he was done speaking. "...Do you think I could meet your friends or should I stay here and lay low until you've spoken to them about how you found me?" As she was speaking she was scooting blankets back, twisting her body around and started to stand. She felt like she was well enough to get up but she was betrayed by her body.

Her legs gave out as she started to take two steps forwards. She closed her eyes to wait on hitting the ground but if he moved to steady her or to catch her before steadying her, she would open her eyes and sigh relieved. "Thank you....again. I am never going to be able to pay back this debt to you helping me out, you know?" She asked with a small smirk on her lips as she was put back to bed, that was if he did that. If he didn't she would relax in his arms, for some reason feeling safe in them.

At the castle, Lord Raven waited before standing and going to clean up and ready for bed as the hours grew later and later. He had planned if they were to bring him proof and evidence of what Ritzu was doing and why she raced out so fast, he would praise them and give them a bonus to their payment for doing the job. Should they show up empty handed he would pay them as agreed but no bonus and no praise.

He also had a thought of not allowing for anything needing upgraded be upgraded until they could find out what Ritzu was up to. He trusted the woman but wanted to make sure an uprising wasn't going to happen. He liked things as they were and wanted it to stay as such.

Raven turned on the hot water and enjoyed the steam as he ungarbbed then stepped into the shower, eyes closing as he enjoyed the way hot water made stress and worries melt away.

Ritzu had given up for the evening going to night and groaned, sitting in her chair, putting her head into her hands. "I can't believe I lost the only known person to use two magics without being in the system of ever being arrested." She moaned while leaning back, her face still in her hands. "This is so unfair to someone as kind and helpful as I."

She had a thought of calling Creed but at the same time, while eyeing her phone, wasn't sure he'd answer or even want to recapture Fire for her. "....Unless she's at the castle but....how would the guards had gotten my lock opened?" she muttered mostly in thought, pondering this and trying to sort out actual possibilities for what happened to Fire.

Eventually she would stand and pace, moving and began to work more on fixing girl she had now. "Maybe if I fix her right, she will help me locate my other prize..." she pondered before smiling, liking that idea and thoughts about using Rosalie to aid in capturing one so rare as Fire.

"If your friends are smart, they're probably lying low." Renn tried to sooth her concern, "Sure, they'll be searching for you, but if they know who they're dealing with, they'd be better off keeping their distance..." He thought of tales he'd heard about Ritzu and her work, sure, she seemed bubbly and excitable, but there was no doubt that when she got down to her work, to get in her way or disrupt her plans would be more than just foolish - he'd taken a risk grabbing Fire as it was, if Ritzu ever found out it was him, she'd have more than his head...
"Viola is a pretty name," he nodded, it reminded him of delicate flowers long lost to time, to find such a plant was sheer luck in the outlands - if they ever got out of the city walls that was... "I think we've all got tendencies," he was happy when she smiled, "but you seem to control them well," he knew she could easily have perceived him as the enemy and attacked or even killed him upon removing the restraints, but she hadn't and that left him relieved.

When they moved onto the subject of Dante, Renn fell quiet in a moment of contemplation, then he smiled again - his happy-go-lucky side showing, "Well, he seemed to have little problem in dragging back a new blood earlier, so I'm sure it'll be fine." he couldn't picture Dante throwing anyone out that needed help - especially if they came from the clutches of that 'crazy witch'... He was certain their beloved Leader had experienced a few run ins with the scientist in the past, but the male was always very secretive about it history, so Renn couldn't be certain... "Creed?" He tilted his head at her next question, "Can't say I have, but then again, I don't exactly leave the city too much...heh..." He noted her expression and decided to try and make her feel a little more reassured though, "A lot of these scientists are freelance, so I would think he'd probably just focus on that one job and once he had you, perhaps he moved onto something else...?" he wasn't used to so many questions, but having brought her further away from anything she knew, it only seemed fair to answer what he could...

"How did we find you? Now that I can answer!" he beamed sitting down on the edge of the bed and crossing his legs so he could rest his elbows on them - this was a chance to boast about his skills, "Our Boss, well, the guy above Dante has a few hangups about his people rushing off without telling him, so when Ritzu shot off out of the city, he gave us a call," he would briefly run through about how they often ran tasks for the 'Big Bird,' but without naming anyone, he quickly returned to the subject at hand. "You see, Logir drew her attention away and I slipped in - I'm a dab hand at lockpicking, so I was the best man for the job, I had the guard keep watch and I picked the lock, we were just gonna look through her stuff, see if there was anything that would tell us why she'd rushed off...and I found you." he wrinkled his nose a little, "I've got a thing about slaves and experiments and stuff...not a fan and I'd hate to think of what she had planned for you. There was no way I was gonna leave you in her clutches." he was clearly angered about what Ritzu might have gotten up to had he not stepped in...but then he realised he'd gone quiet and smiled back at her. "So, you came from Delta? We're in Rydol, so you've come pretty far from home..." He watched as she peeled the covers back and moved to stand - with his legs crossed, it was a struggle, but he launched himself from the bed in an attempt to stop her from falling and ended up falling face first onto the floor himself.

If he was lucky, she might have fallen on top of him, his body cushioning some of the impact, he would let out a groan at this point and wait for her to move aside before pushing himself up into a sitting position and allowing her to lean against him if she chose to. "...Owwie...Voices?" he stretched out the aches, then shrugged, "Sounds make their way up the tunnels all the time, I wouldn't let it worry you too much,"

~*~*~

"Maybe we should wait until he's had some sleep...get him whilst he's still tired...maybe he won't be so disappointed...?" Dante was seated on the arm of the couch, mumbling to himself whilst Estel and Anji watched the TV behind him...
"Maybe the longer you wait, the more impatient he'll become...?" Estel glanced towards her leader's back before reaching into the bowl the girls had seated between them, "Are you sure there wasn't Anything there?"

"Maybe Jesse found something? Have you asked her?" Anji narrowed her eyes at the bowl as Estel took a large handful of the sweet popcorn,

"I never actually asked her..." Dante felt a little embarrassed, but knew Jesse wouldn't keep it to herself if she had found anything... "She's out who knows where though..." he breathed a sigh, lifting his eyes as Logir found his way into the room. "Hey! You came back!" Dante beamed as he saw Tala wander in behind the male,

"Did you find your friend?" Estel glanced over, stuffing the handful of popcorn into her mouth before rising to her feet, "You hungry? I can put on another bag?" She smiled sympathetically when Tala shook his head, "Maybe we'll help you look later, hmm?"

"I'll go get a room ready, plenty of space of course, but we try to keep noise to a minimum after eleven." Anji hopped to her feet and disappeared up one of the tunnels.

Tala was grateful for their hospitality, but still couldn't help but feel a little out of place... He watched as Logir headed off to get changed, then turned his sights to Dante, "Is everything alright?" he approached, but hung back so he didn't overly intrude...

"Our mission went a little sour..." Dante shrugged, "We'd hoped to find something, but we didn't exactly..." his words weren't all making sense, but Tala got the gist of it, "I'll hold off until the morning...maybe something will turn up," he smiled, "Come sit down," patting the cushions he slid into place, stealing a handful of popcorn before flicking through the channels.

The group gradually dispersed after an hour or so, all had their own nightly rituals to complete before heading to their own respective rooms. Dante stayed up the longest, probably thinking over what he would tell Lord Raven in the morning, but eventually even he started to drift out on the couch...
It was only once the male's soft breathing gave away the fact he was sleeping that Tala eventually decided to move...

Rising to his feet, he stretched, turning his gaze as a small black shadow caught his eye and the cat from before made its way into the chamber.
Clearly it was free to come and go as it pleased. Tala watched as it crossed the room before lifting its gaze to regard him quietly. Then, with a flick of its tail, it continued on, disappearing into the shadows of one of the adjoining tunnels.

Anji would return after some time, showing Tala to his room before taking leave for her own. It felt rather strange...once again he was alone, in a new location with new sounds and faces... He took a seat on the edge of his allocated bed and looked around the room, taking a moment to listen to the sounds that surrounded him before sliding off his footwear and lying back.
Maybe he was a little more exhausted than he felt, but it wasn't long before he fell into a deep sleep.

~*~*~

In the morning, Dante would head off before anyone had risen, he usually liked to meet Lord Raven somewhere quiet, out of the line of vision where nobody would ask any questions as to why an Owl would be consorting with a Rogue... Today, he found his way into one of the walled gardens and stood admiring a fountain statue of a woman, her arms spread wide whilst Birds in the shape of crows and ravens rested upon her shoulder and around her feet...

It was just starting to get light and he took a moment to blow into his hands before rubbing them together - the mornings seemed to be getting colder lately and as his breath crystallised on the air infront of him, he felt a presence, turning round to greet the figure that approached...

If it was Lord Raven, he would bow to his Superior before asking him how he was, proceeding to make a joking comment about needing to turn the temperature up a little before lowering his gaze and stating that nobody appeared to have returned with anything useful from their search... He'd noticed that Renn had disappeared, but wasn't going to break up the group by collaring their movements... "I really think we were onto something in her lab...there were a lot of books on Transmogrification, but that appeared to be it as we had to pull out before she came back..."

If it turned out to be a guard, Dante would pull his scarf up around his lips and bow his head slightly, acknowledging the sentry's presence before turning away and leaning to inspect the fountain as though something had caught his eye - there was no point talking to the guards...if they knew his face, it would get him in trouble...

Viola had listened closely to his answers, hoping he was right about them laying low while trying to be discreet about locating her. When he complimented about how her name was pretty, she felt her cheeks heat up as a light blush came to the surface as she diverted her eyes a bit, giving a small thanks with a gentle nod. It wasn't the first time she'd had someone compliment on her name but at the same time it still felt flattering and made her stomach feel like butterflies were fluttering inside it. Although this feeling was stronger than normal.

Turning her attention to him she smiled putting her hope in him being right. When he mentioned a 'new blood' this perked her interest. "New blood?" she asked softly curiously. Hearing about how Creed was probably a freelancer did make sense to why he would just do a task then take off. Freelancers normally didn't stay in one spot for long, just enough time to complete their job and would leave after being paid.

I bet she paid him before hand and that was why he left and said he wasn't coming back. Well....even if he does come back he isn't going to have a home. Fire thought with a small smile tugging at her lips. She smiled and enjoyed listening to him brag about how he found her. As he explained she did find her mind questioning who this 'big bird' person was but would hold her tongue on that until later as it wasn't something dire to know.

"I owe you and Logir my thanks for my life then. I also take it you and others are very familiar with how she behaves?" she asked and hearing where she was did make her heart drop a bit into her stomach. She was pretty far from Delta which meant her friends wouldn't be finding her or at least not for a good while.

She tried to get up and as she fell she landed on top of him with a soft 'oof' and she gently scooted back, sitting on her legs under her and a soft blush on her cheeks. "I'm sorry, are you okay?" she was hoping she didn't hurt him when she landed on him although she had been glad for the soft landing he had provided with his body. He was nice and soft and was making her ponder about just laying down and using him as a pillow. This just caused her to blush more before shaking her head to get such thoughts out.

Fire softly rubbed the back of her head and her fingers brushed the earpiece, bringing her eyes to shift some as she thought about seeing if the signal would reach Delta to let them know she was alright. She also wanted to make sure they were alright as well. When he explained the voices she nodded. "I guess that would make sense. Alright, I'll try to not let it worry me. You know....you're very nice." Viola said giving a soft smile.

In the morning Raven got up and ready, dressing in a ocean blue button up shirt, dark pants, dark shoes, and a dark heavier coat over with a type of headband to keep his ears warm should he need it on the chilly morning. Fixing his hair back he made his way from his chambers, heading downstairs and out, entering the walled garden area.

Before he got there a guard did pass through on patrol, nodding to Dante as he continued on his way. Lord Raven approached and took his place to stand beside Dante. "Good morning." He would smirk seeing Dante bow as he was greeted. "Sadly it seems it will be another bitter winter this year. I have already sent contractors out to make sure the people's homes all have working heat and are all insulated." He stepped over a step then another looking at another artistic statue before looking to Dante.

"Now tell me what you have brought me with your empty hands." He stated in a calm yet stern tone. He was not happy to see Dante empty handed but did listen to his explanation, that they ran out of time. Hearing about the Transmogrification books did bring him a little concern about what she was doing. He folded his arms listening and took a deep breath, exhaling and watched as it showed then disappeared into the cool air.

"That troubles me to hear about her having a lot of books on that subject. I have not ordered any testing or building in that subject so she shouldn't be having books on that." He thought more looking down then turned his eyes to Dante. "Do you think you could find more on her doings if you were given more time?" he inquired. "If you feel sure you or you and your team, the size is your choice, can find me proof of what she's up to then I could arrange for you to have up to at least four hours to search her quarters again."

He stepped over and brushed a few leaves off a sundial he had with the dial shaped to be easy to see it was a crow. "Would that help you?" Raven looked over to Dante again as he was curious. "Also I know you maybe wondering about the device upgrades. They are still in testing so are not yet ready. They will be soon, so sadly I cannot provide them at this time." He said smoothly to give reason for why he had yet to given Dante the tech promised. Sure it was ready now but he wanted his answers first before he would hand it over.

"If four hours would not be enough time for you to find answers for me then I might be able to set up some other tasks to delay her longer. I would hate to need to try and find someone else to find out what she's been up to under my nose." Raven said sounding down at the thought one under his paycheck was keeping things hidden from him and he had no idea for how long she probably had been keeping things from him.

"Yeah, Dante said he found a stray in one of the run down apartments on the edge of town, don't know what he sees in the kid, but whatever, he's the Boss." Renn shrugged, noting her smile in regards to Creed's home-predicament, but presuming she was smiling at something he'd said. "Ritzu is...a Wild Card really." he lifted his gaze as he thought about the run ins they'd had. Dante had always tried to keep the gang away from her - mainly so he could plant unfamiliar people where he needed them, but there was always the inevitability that they would cross paths... "I've only met her once or twice...the first time she was calm, collected, even normal...the second time, she was...well... Let's just say she was working on something and looking for test subjects." he narrowed his eyes, thankful that the job he'd been doing had allowed him to evade her grasp... "Apparently Soldiers are dispensable..." he looked a little worried in that regard, moreso for the poor souls that had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, but he was quick to dispense with the thought.

"It's not every day a pretty girl falls into my arms - twice," he would have winked, but being what had cushioned her fall, he just let out a half-hearted chuckle before pushing himself up. "Thanks, You're not so bad yourself," he smiled, leaving the room in silence for a moment before rising to his feet, "You hungry?" he dusted himself off and offered to help her to her feet, "I would think everyone's gone to bed now, I could probably sneak you down for a look around?" he wasn't sure if she felt strong enough just yet, but made the offer either way - he would be more than content to leave her side and fetch them both something to eat if she was hungry.

If she chose to come with him, he would lead her carefully down the tunnels, giving a brief - and whispered - rundown of where places led before showing her into the main room where the kitchen was. Of course, they wouldn't cook anything, but there was always something edible in the fridge.

Whatever the choice, once they were loaded up, he would return to the room they started in, sharing what they had before leaving Fire to rest up.

"You are good to your people, Sir." Dante felt some reassurance in his Superior when he mentioned about sending contractors round to his citizens to ensure their homes were heated, "I assure you, any extra time you can allow us will be well used." He watched as the man cleared the leaves from the sundial, noting the time as the low light extended its shadow greatly, "Four hours would allow us enough time to infiltrate and take a good look around and hopefully we'll be more lucky without needing to worry about her bursting in and catching us..." he'd crossed paths with Ritzu a few times now and although he had tried his best to conceal his features with witty disguises, there was little doubt the scientist was growing wise to his physique, meaning it was only a matter of time before she made a challenge towards him...

He listened well when Raven mentioned the delay of their equipment, it was a shame as Jesse seemed to have claimed the gear she'd used to evade Cyrus the night before and Dante was itching to try it out for himself... "I understand," he nodded, "These things can't be easy to make, but I'm sure they'll be well up to standard when they're completed." he was a little disappointed, but it seemed kind of fair that if he couldn't come up with the goods, neither could their Boss... "So, I'll gather the gang and wait for your word, right?" he was already making plans as to whom he would bring along, where they would be left to search and how long they would need to infiltrate the location and leave before their time limit came to an end,

~*~*~

...What time was it? Tala opened an eye, looking up at the darkened ceiling before drawing his arms from beneath the furred blanket which had kept him warm that night. There was no ticking clock, but he assumed it was before sunrise and slid from the bed before pulling on his boots.

It didn't take him long to remember where he was - after waiting for hours in the hopes Cyrus would come find him, he'd returned with Logir and then been shown to his room by Anji who had left him to his own devices and gone to bed herself... It wasn't exactly cold, but he pulled on his jacket and headed for the doorway, peering outside into the candle-lit tunnel before stepping out.

There was a star above his door which would glow a soft blue should the lights ever go out - it had apparently been something Anji had thought up so people could be located in the darkness, but it was barely noticeable in the light and he gave it little thought.
Something had awoken him and after dismissing the initial thought that it had been because it was his first night in a new location, he decided the best thing to do would be to investigate.

Making his way down the tunnel, Tala tried to listen out for anything besides his own footsteps on the cold ground. Eventually, a breath reached his ears and he turned, hearing a resounding clunk, quickly followed by cursing as someone moved to pick something up from the floor... As quietly as he could, he advanced towards the open doorway, peering through the gap before knocking as he recognised the figure infront of the desk.

Jesse's head snapped up and she glared towards him, her features softening slightly as she realised who had risked disturbing her at such an hour... "You alright?"

"I'm finding it a little hard to get used to the change of scenery...and sounds." Tala averted his eyes as he entered, pushing the door to behind him, "What about you?" he tilted his head, curious as to what she was doing,

"Just greasing the mechanism...darn thing threatened to jam when I was testing it out earlier." she didn't go into detail, but after she'd evaded Cyrus, she'd attempted to return home when one of the gears had caught. The fact she had been testing it was a lie, but Tala wasn't to know.

"This place kinda reminds me of home..." the male's eyes regarded the selection of gears and components which hung from the walls and shelves, "Cyrus likes to make things in his spare time..." his sentence trailed off as he wondered what the man was up to...had he even bothered to look for him? Tala was as of yet completely oblivious of Jesse's encounter with the man and she appeared to want to keep it that way...

"Pass me that screwdriver." she held out a hand and this drew the male from his thoughts as he turned to look at the pile of tools laid out on the side of the desk. When handed her requested item, she said nothing and proceeded to tinker with the gearset before drawing the cable back and forth - testing the return. Only once she was content did she retract the cable and set the tech aside. "Want to watch the sunrise?" she spun round in her seat and looked at him quietly,

"Uh...sure." Nodding, Tala watched as she rose to her feet before heading to the door. Jesse would attach the gear to her harness and then usher him out, closing the door behind her before leading the way down through the tunnels to the outer wall.

Fire felt a chill run down her spine when she heard more about Ritzu, now very glad she had been found and taken by this group. She did not want to find out what it felt like to be a test subject of Ritzu. She was hoping she would never find out what it felt like. "Those poor soldiers." She knew the Owl's were bad but she still felt bad now for the soldiers that had fallen prey to Ritzu's testings.

Fire snorted with a small snicker at his comment about 'it not being everyday a pretty girls falls into his arms twice' and smiled. Her stomach growled and she blushed nodding at the question about hunger. "Yea, I think my stomach just spoke up for me though before I could." She remarked with a quick and slightly embarrassed giggle. Giving it some thought she looked down then nodded, looking up and she reached out, taking his hand.

She stood with his help and although she was stronger and more stable she still at times leaned on him whenever she would start to stumble a little. She listened as he lead the way, taking mental notes of where everything was. She didn't want to get lost should she be there for a while if she were to go looking around without him. Granted she had no plans to do that until she felt more up to par just in case she would need to protect herself for any reason.

As they entered the kitchen she took a good amount into her hands and would follow him back with their newly acquired stash of food. She tried not to giggle since a part of her felt like a child stealing from her parents again as a child. When back at the room she would sit down on the bed and finally release her small giggle. "I feel so bad yet so excited doing this." she said softly in a whisper before picking up some food and taking a bite.

Raven listened and considered what could be possible for him to have done to give them the most time. "I will send her out on a mission of retrieval for me so she should be gone for at least four to six hours if not a bit more depending on how long it takes her." He explained then thought some of how long it'd take before Dante with his crew could move to get in.

"I'll give you the word within an hour and a half. I will send her out soon after breakfast. I will also make sure you have a thirty minute warning then a fifteen minute warning when she is on her way so you may exit without notice." He informed calmly. "I will then or should then be able to get an update on your items."

Nodding he released a tired sigh at the word of him telling Dante about delays. "It is frustrating when things are not done on time when they are supposed to. It would be wonderful if things could be done as they are told to me they will be but, unfortunately there are complications that can come up from time to time that delays the progress."

In Lady Snake's city, Lysin moved around the city carefully in the early hours, breathing out a puff of white cloud. He eyed where a couple guards were questioning a vendor about someone before moving on as they had a paper. On the paper was a crude drawing of a female without color details and he frowned.

He had heard the word as did others about a female being the suspect in the death of Lord Dragon but no evidence had been found to support this. It was speculated of this due to his love of females and being around them so much. I hope whoever that is they are not found. I'd hate to think of what they would be put through if caught. the old man thought as he watched then made his way across the street to the vendor.

"Welcome to Knicky Knacks where all you want can be found." The man greeted with his slogan for his stall.

Lysin smiled. "I was wondering if you knew anything about who the guard is looking for?"

The man thought, looked both ways then spoke softly to Lysin. "Well I think they are looking for someone in their twenties to their thirties. They think it was an attractive woman that was also skilled with a blade. They think it was an assassin from a rebel group."

"I see, any idea of any color for hair or eyes?" Lysin inquired looking at some of the goods he had set up being statues and things.

"Nope, they said if she was an assassin she must have short hair since that's a common assassin trait." He answered gently while he moved to show Lysin another item he had to make it look like they were discussing a sale.

"I see, thank you for that. If you find anything else out, mind keeping me up to date on it? I'm very interested in this." Lysin muttered carefully as he picked up an item that looked like an old toy.

The man nodded. "Of course I'll keep you informed so long as I can without being in trouble myself." He stated and smiled as Lysin paid him for the item, a toy with a handle and two balls attached. They were out on plastic and when moved they would spin and if you spun them at different directions at once they would knock together, bouncing and it was a game used before to see how many knocks you could get.

"Thank you very much for finding this for me. I'm glad you was able to." Lysin said pleased as he tested it out.

"Of course!" the man laughed as he watched. "I hope you come back again and use my services again for your knick knack needs."

Lysin nodded. "I will, take care." He said waving and the man waved back as Lysin departed, messing with his new toy, being a stickler for old things like what he just bought for a few Relu.

"The trick is to take enough to fill your belly, but leave just enough so they don't suspect you've taken anything," Renn had snuck out for a midnight snack many times in the past and as far as he knew, nobody had noticed anything had gone. "You do get a buzz sneaking around though," he nodded, "Good training too, so many people go wandering at night, if you can slip past them all unnoticed, then it's pretty invigorating!" he beamed, taking a bite of a roll before leaning back against the chair he'd sat infront of.

~*~*~

"I know the feeling well, Sir, and I apologise for our own delay, but this time I assure you, we won't leave you disappointed." Dante knew well about delays and how much they could cost both ally and enemy alike. "I'll have the gang ready to move out on your word," he flashed his trademark smile before bowing respectfully.

When their talk would come to an end, Dante would take his leave as though he'd been merely enjoying the scenery, pausing to investigate another statue before wrapping his scarf closer around his neck and leaving the location.

~*~*~

Jessie and Tala would be already in the hall eating breakfast when their leader made his return - the sky had been overcast that morning, so they'd decided to go and eat, rather than potter around with little to do...

"Jess," Dante acknowledged her as the pair lifted their heads as he entered the room, "Gonna need a word with everyone, can you get them up?" he smiled as the female nodded before taking a seat at the head of the table as she took her leave. "Good morning, Tala." he was happy that the male had decided to stick around - it was often left up to the person themselves whether they stayed or not, Dante didn't like to force anyone to do something they didn't want to...

"What's going on?" Tala tilted his head, curiously, setting down his spoon as the male poured himself some cereal. It would take Dante a couple of minutes to reply, giving the impression he hadn't heard him, but when he did, he make direct eye contact with the youth.

"I'm currently unsure as to whether or not to let you become involved, but we've been given a second chance on a little task we were assigned and I'm gonna need the whole gang's help to pull it off." the milk wasn't exactly in reach, but with the sound of a soft purr, the black cat leapt up onto the table and nudged it closer.
Tala was starting to wonder if Dante and the cat were one in the same, but he just watched as Estel stepped into the kitchen before letting out a growl and plucking the feline from the table,

"No cats on the table!" she tossed the cat towards the sofa, not bothering to watch as it bounced into the cushions before disappearing over the back of the seat - she knew it would be fine. "People eat there, remember?" she glared at her leader before taking a seat and helping herself to cereal.

Logir and Anji would be the next to show, with a disgruntled Jesse bringing up the rear.

"Problem?" Dante tilted his head, noticing they were one short...

"Renn's says he's sick." the light-haired female scowled as she sat down, her hair looking a little dishevelled as she sat back down beside Tala, clearly she'd had something thrown in her direction as she'd attempted to awaken the sleeping male and she wasn't happy about it...

"...That's a shame." Dante dropped his gaze as though in thought, then gave a shrug and beamed back at the group, "Looks like you're coming with us after all, Tala."

He would take only moments to explain his plan, then he would ensure everyone had eaten and prepared themselves something for the journey before having them gather at the very endest of tunnels where a truck would be ready and waiting to take them up to the surface and inevitably their destination once Lord Raven gave his word.

Fire nodded in agreement with a small laugh and would stretch out once done, going to sleep after she had finished.

Lord Raven nodded. "I will expect nothing less from you and your group." He took his leave back inside.

When early morning came Fire would softly touch the earpiece and look to see if Renn was awake or asleep. If he was asleep she would turn on the piece to hear static. She would sigh in disappointment with this. "That means I'm further down than I thought first off." She would softly mutter to herself under her breath. She would look to Renn after turning the piece back off and look around the room.

If he seemed to be awake she would lay still and roll over so the earpiece was down to test it out. When she would get static she would bite her cheek. Dang it, seems I'm down further than I thought. she would then turn it back off. I hope they are okay.[/] She then smirked softly to her self with another thought. I also hope that jerk got to come back and see his ruined home.

When the knock came Fire felt a wave of panic strike her heart before starting to calm after he threw the soft item at the female had tried to enter. "That's a relief." Fire would mutter softly so not to alert anyone outside the room of her presents. "Are you sure you don't want to go? I don't want to keep you from getting paid or anything."

Back in Sistan, Lysin was resting in his bed as the others did their things. They had decided to let their leader sleep in as Flute stepped down the early morning streets to a jewelry shop. She unlocked the door to the Hidden Treasures store and flipped on the lights as she went into the back to get the merchandise out and up for display. She had her green hair pulled back into a brunet wig that was pulled back into a ponytail.

She adjusted glasses she slipped on and after taking a deep breath, she exhaled to relax. Turning she began to get the shop set up for the day before she would turn the sign to open.

In their hideout Trumpet had stepped out in the misty morning to leap upon a roof then another and he sat there, gazing at the sky in his trench coat with a scarf around his neck blowing in the wind. He inhaled deeply and sighed as he exhaled. "Well," he pulled out a photo of a little girl grinning that had once been in the group he recalled before they reformed where they were now. "I wonder if anyone in the undergrounds seen that little sparkle."

He looked out at the horizon for a bit longer before finally stepping away and leaping down to head down some steps of a side street to a catacombs like design. He adjusted his coat as he made his way down and to a pub/club like business building to wait until its later opening.

Back in Lord Raven's city, Ritzu was heading out with a small team of four to a location designated by Lord Raven. She had a mix of items with her to collect samples as well as to aid the others in completing the mission. She had been told he wanted them to check on reports of flowers growing in a spot to the west of the city, near soil once thought to be toxic. They were well armed and she was ready to try purifying the toxins so secure the flower. She also was to get samples of the soil and see how the plants provided to them respond.

He made it clear he wanted to try restoring the land to some growth yet it appeared he just wanted to do it within his cities limits. She had nothing against this since she was pondering over if she would be able to get hold of and test upon one of the odd creatures that at times could be spotted near parts of the land not suitable for life.

She longed for things to work smoothly this time but knew she was going to be out for a while, several hours in fact which annoyed her yet she wouldn't turn down an order from Lord Raven.

A transport was sent to bring Dante and his group to the castle and to Ritzu's lab section of the castle. It took some minutes and once there the clock would start for them to search for the proof and answers Raven wanted. When they arrived things would look as they did with things as neat yet messy as before.

In a back room area Rosalie woke up inside her cage and saw new marks on the floor and ceiling. "It still happens." she whispered frightened of herself. She hugged herself close and would lower her head before lifting as her belly rumbled as she had gone to bed after her breakfast. "I wonder if master Ritzu is nearby..."

She listened to only hear silence and she would sigh softly. "I guess she's out for now." She looked at her hands and at the bars then the scratch marks sadly in knowing she had created them.

When the group would come it could be seen when the search began that Ritzu had begun searching for someone, that someone being Viola aka Fire. After they would start their search if no one noticed or paid mind to a barely opened door towards the back of the room, Rosalie would turn her head to look towards the door. "Master?" she questioned softly and inched closer to the bars watching the door.

In the main room there would be papers filed on Viola's parents as well as on Lysin and a number of others. There were even the pictures of Fire she was using to try matching her with anything she could, showing she was desperate to find the young woman. She had even had notes with a picture of Fire about her witnessing the female breathing both fire and ice.

She had documented about her finding her at Creed's apartment as well as about two males trying to help the woman they called Fire. She had noted their appearances as well how they were probably related. If anything Ritzu was very detailed when something or someone had her fascination.

If no one came after some minutes Rosalie would shift and try calling out "Master?" but would wince and recoil from the bars while holding herself and panting hard with sweat falling as she was fighting the transformation from happening again. "No not now, please why are you still here?" she asked through gritted teeth.

If anyone came there would be a series of ready to load and use viles of medicine Ritzu made in a cabinet with clear glass by the door into the room with Rosalie's name on them. There was even a dart type of syringe gun by it for loading one of the syringes and shooting if needed.

Rosalie would wince and struggle but after some fur had grown, it receded and she nearly collapsed to be laying down as she was so out of breath and sweating. "I hope she returns soon..." she whispered breathlessly as she closed her eyes for a few moments while catching her breath.

If someone entered the room she would open her tired eyes to look at them and sit up gradually. "Who...are you? Are you a friend of masters?" she would ask them curiously while pushing some hair back.

"I've been running some extra errands for the boss...so he owes me a day or two off anyways..." Renn breathed a yawn as he sat up, reaching an arm towards the pillow he'd thrown before flopping down onto the ground with a sigh as the object remained just out of reach. He had heard nothing in the way of static, but with a reasonable depth, they would only receive half-signals unless using the equipment Dante had set up in his room... "We'll give them time to leave...then get some breakfast." He groaned as he stretched, sitting up sleepily and rubbing his eyes before eventually pushing himself to his feet.

Jesse had hoped Dante would pair her up with Tala, so when partnered with Logir, she exhaled a disgruntled sigh before accepting her boss's orders. She observed the young male from across the van, he'd found himself seated between Anji and Estel who were talking as though he wasn't there - they laughed and joked loudly whilst his head seemed bowed as though deep in thought...

"I'm excited..." Dante's voice was calm, but there was a glint in his eyes, "And yet..." he trailed off, his gaze momentarily falling upon the youth before turning back to Jesse, "You remember that computer you were so interested in last time? Try to find that again, we need to copy anything of interest as quickly as possible." Jesse locked eyes only briefly, then broke her gaze with a nod and returned her attention to Tala.

They split into pairs when they arrived, Estel and Anji launched themselves at the documents as soon as they'd infiltrated the Scientist's work space, Jesse and Logir hit the computers, scanning for anything regarding their target information and saving it all to pen-drives which would be hidden in secret pockets within their sleeves,

Dante oversaw the whole operation, but asked Tala to 'take a wander around' He guessed that although it had been explained, the male wouldn't really want to get entirely involved and so allowed him a reasonable space to 'investigate'.

There was of course that feeling of being invited along and yet left to 'stand guard' and Tala felt more than a little like a spare part awaiting use... He wandered around the room, his eyes scrutinising every corner and observing his comrades before growing bored of doing basically 'nothing' and deciding to wander a little farther.

He hadn't registered the voice immediately, but when he heard it again, he cast a glance back towards the gang before approaching the door. His hand graced the edge of the framework and he peered round into the dark, the sound of breathing and the sight of a figure making him recoil momentarily before curiosity drew him to step further inside.

Fire nodded and stretched with a wide yawn. She sighed as she flopped her arms down above her head on the pillow. She rubbed the water from her eyes then looked up at the ceiling. "I'm looking forwards to some breakfast. Um, say can I ask you something?" she turned to face him before sitting up in the bed. "I'm curious if you have any family you miss sometimes or any friends outside of your group." She was hoping she wasn't imposing but was curious.

*Sistan*

Flute opened the shop once she had everything as she wanted it. She went behind the counter and sighed while leaning on the thick glass counter top which doubled as a display case for the more expensive pieces in the store's collection. Hope today goes well. It'd be nice to have a real busy day to update a few things. She thought while she rested her head in her hands with her elbows on the glass.

Trumpet waited and glanced over his shoulder at the door. Moving his closed hand he knocked twice before waiting. When no answer came he knocked again only for the same result. Pondering this over he pushed away from the wall and turned, kicking the door a bit rough this time to see if whoever was working would answer.

He got his desired result. Once he had kicked the door there was a viewer opened as a person looked out, closed it, unlocked the door and opened it before standing in the doorway. He looked at Trumpet with a sigh. "Now what are you wanting?" he questioned as he folded his arms.

Trumpet moved forwards. "Nothing, just to go in and ask if anyone's seen a girl that used to be part of my boss's group."

"Trip, you know that's not going to work this round. My boss got annoyed at a few complaining that you bothered them when they were trying to relax so no, you aren't going inside." The man explained.

"That's Trumpet, thank you very much and why not? I won't pester anyone too much." He huffed. "I just want to ask if they've seen her because I want to try and see if it brings a happy glint to his old eyes."

The man shook his head. "Maybe if you got an updated photo."

Trumpet bit his cheek and took a step back with his hands going into his pockets. "Well um...you see it's not an aged progressed photo for say but it's all I got to work with."

"Sorry, not letting you in."

Trumpet huffed and moved to try and by pass the man without success. "Come on! Don't you want to make an old man feel happy?" He asked with a hopeful grin. This grin faded into a pout as the man once more shook his head no in denial.

"Nope, not working. Move along." He pushed Trumpet back and watched as he made his way elsewhere into the catacombs. The man then entered the building and relocked the door before going back to his job of guarding the place.

Trumpet sighed with a small groan. "Dang it, well that failed." He grumbled as he looked around and tried asking different people, claiming her to be a lost friend but didn't have any luck. He would keep at this for several long minutes before gradually working his way back towards the main street above.

*Back in Ritzu's Lab*

With information on seeing Fire breath both fire and ice, she had what information she could find on the two males. There was a photo she'd dug out of the public archives, being Leaf, and about him having a record of taking many public jobs when they were open. There was a second photo, Tool, with what little information she could find on the teen which was mainly his last known school before he was pulled out and about him excelling with working with his hands.

There was information she had managed to dig up on Fire's deceased parents, such as which one had been documented to use fire magic and the other ice magic. There was even an old photo of Lysin along with notes about records recalling he was a good shot with a gun before he had been recorded as dead. Beside that was also a photo from the guard who had tried snapping Lysin's picture before so it was slightly blurred with the buildings showing Lady Snake's style behind him as he tried to keep his face hidden in the photograph.

She also had recently had files on them and others who had been friends to them on the computer. There were even saved news stories and videos that covered Lord Dragon's death. If it was searched there would be evidence of failed attempts to hack security camera's from the large building made for that single night of dance and fun which lead to his death.

In the back of the room Rosalie looked into the darkness lit by the open door, her eyes having a yellow hue to them as she wrapped her arms around herself. "Master? Why aren't you answer?" she quietly asked with a bit of heavy breathing while fighting back the urges to transform.

She winced while curling down against the cage's metal floor. Her body changed briefly before returning to normal but it had allowed her to catch the new scents. "Did she send you?!" she quickly asked nervously as she looked at the door, one hand starting to change into having claws and fur. She fought back a snarl as she waited to see what she'd hear in a response.

Tala was understandably unsure of replying, the breathing sounded strange to him, that and the voice that followed... Once again he glanced back, but the gang seemed more than a little engrossed in copying everything about the scientist and her research... "Are you a prisoner?" That was a stupid question... he could see bars. Perhaps she was a test subject? "Can you understand me?" he strayed closer, leaving the safety of the door as he moved towards the bars, keeping a safe distance just incase whatever was inside could reach...

Back in the main room, Jesse had discovered the computer she'd located the last time and was already downloading everything she could, not everything was of much use, but she felt it necessary just incase she had missed anything.

"Try to keep everything as you found it." Dante knew it was important to remind them to cover their tracks, he had no doubt that Ritzu had a keen eye for noting changes in things deemed familiar. His eyes glanced around the room momentarily, observing his gang before falling upon the open doorway where he'd seen the youth lingering only moments beforehand. "Where's he gone...?" Dante frowned at allowing the youth to 'wander' as he'd instructed, perhaps next time he'd keep a leash on Tala so he didn't get himself in trouble...not that he was likely to get in trouble...right?

"I've scanned as much as I can," Anji caught Dante before he could advance towards the door, "Most of it's rubbish, but I'm sure if we sift through it when we're back at base, we might find something useful."

"Good, if Ritzu is as organised as I think, then there can't be much left to find, start making preparations to leave." He stepped past her and towards the door, "You in there kiddo?" He relaxed as he spotted Tala's silhouette, but tensed when his eyes lay upon the form that seemed to be struggling to control itself behind the bars, "What are you doing!?" he rushed forward, gripping hold of Tala's jacket and yanking him backwards out of reach, "Whatever it is, it's dangerous!" They were back as far as the doorway, Tala was quite stunned that Dante had grabbed him and almost lost his balance as he was dragged back...

Rosalie quickly looked down with a snarl as she felt her body shift some then back to its human state. It was getting harder to control. Slowly she nodded with a grunt and looked up to Tala with fear in her wide eyes. "Who are you? Did master send you?" she asked trying to not attack but was feeling a stronger desire to strike. When her mind registered he asked her about being a prisoner she shook her head. "No, not a prisoner. She's helping to cure me."

Her upper body began to grow before going back to normal. She picked up on another scent briefly then as she heard footsteps racing in with a new voice she changed into her beast form. She charged at the cage and reached out wildly with her claws at Tala just as he was yanked back. She snarled and bared her sharp teeth at Dante.

The bars had bent from her striking them and she moved trying to break out and strike. She was growling and gave a wild howl into the air with pain and struggle. She roared and the roar faded into a woman's scream as she began to regain control of herself. She was breathing heavy with sweat running down her face.

Rosalie looked at the pair with a look of fear and sadness for attacking. "M-master is out....please...shoot me with what's....ah!" she winced as her body tried to transform again. "...it controls...what Lord Dragon did." She pointed to the shelf by the door before her hand grew claws and fur and tried to slash them again. She didn't want to hurt anyone and was afraid the cage might break if it took too many hits from her beast state.

"P-p-please!" she begged with her voice cracking. "I'll tell-tell you all-I can!" she struggled to get the words out as she was getting tired suppressing the beast with the mix from before wearing off.
