The darkmaster just sat in a slight reclined pose being filled by the powers and energy of the ones it was syphoned from his wrinkles faded as it looked like he was growing slowly younger as well as his powers increasing and even muscles looked more defined as if he had worked out for years to build muscle mass.
The boy was eating the soup then he winced grabbing his arm where he was scratched it was burning suddenly dropping the half empty bowl on the grass he fell off the tree stump he sat on gritting his teeth as darkness started flowing more down his arm.
The automatic barrier around the dark spot on his arm weakened enough a little trickled out of the barrier and seemed to cause great pain to the boy.

When he winced and dropped the bowl they gasped, a couple moving over closer trying to see what was wrong. "What's wrong? What's happening?" one asked as they tried to see his arm. One who saw gasped backing up not sure what was going on.
"Master! Oh no! You are useless relying on humans!" A woman shouted racing forwards from the tower, picking up on the dark energy drain. One looked over yelping when shoved out of the way by a woman wearing flowing robes like that of the woman in the crystal at the museum but they were a different color and more mondane than royal.
"You are an idiot." She scolded, some of her long hair falling about her face, hiding one side of her face. She pushed the other human out of the way, ignoring them as she grabbed and turned and twisted the boy's arm a little rough till she saw the cut and the red gem. Frowning she reached into one of the pockets of her pants and pulled out an odd blade wrapped in paper, crystal on it as well of a pink rose color. "Here me those of the air about. Defuse these failures of the dark night. Dispell!"
She screamed slamming the blade into the boy's arm deeply above the cut, twisting it and didn't let go, focusing her hand glowing that held the weapon, watching the crystal glow and travel down the blade, encasing the areas of his arm that held the dark marks. The red gem began to disolve as she watched it, not rmeoving the blade as she watched with narrowed showing gray eye.

The boy cried out as the blade got stabbed into his arm deeply but unable to move that side of his body. "Akilka!" He shouted the other side of his body flailed a little until the blade was turned then he fell limp. "Well a least I don't feel the pain anymore. Let alone any part of my arm." He said muttering under his breath.
The darkness bled out of his arm it would seem into an odd black sludge that evaporated rather quickly. "I hate getting stabbed by corruption blades like that. She had the twin chaos daggers of corruption. I fought her off the best I could but she still got me." The boy said gesturing to the cut and the darkness. "Though I blocked it with a internal barrier. Something made my powers weaken just at the time I grabbed my arm." The boy said to the woman.

She sighed shaking her head. "You're an idiot. You know not to face the chaos blades. You are so stupid, all you guardians are so stupid. Always go out, get fighting, then come back and make more and more work for me with more wounds than I can count. Ugh you are all so restless. Then you show more stupidity by going to humans for that help." She lecutred sighing.
One of the guy blinked and cleared his throat. "Ummmm who's this? Is she your mother? And....why is she refering to us as humans? Isn't she one too like you?" he asked curiously, confused and wondering what was going on.

"My mother huh? No shes not my mother, in actuality I am old enough to be her father. As for her referring to you as humans, Well lets just say it's a better word then some like her use to refer to land walkers. Meaning those who never lived in the sky." Once his arm was fixed. He looked to the woman. "Arlitka Goirthrik Gurrr." he said to her meaning for her to introduce herself.
then he speaks normally. "Yes I know but this time it's just one injury." He huffed watching her tend to closing the wounds. "Well atleast one that was inflicted from protecting the... Kiliagra." He used the Syna language to say control staff.

She was closing up his wound sealing it and looked to the grou pof six and nodded sighing. "I am Lita, pleasure, Now then, sir, you need to be mre careful and yes it's safe." She said removing the blade and the pink crystal crumbled once his woulnd was healed.
She sighed cleaning the blade up andlooked over to the humans then to the boy. "Cute form you take, sir." She said giggling at his adorable form.

He rolled his eyes a little. "You know why I take this appearance." He said in a childish pouty way." He then got up and stretched. Addressing the expedition "Once everyone is done we can head into the tower." He said and moved towards Olira his wolf petting her away from the group.

She nodded giggling some watching and looked at the soup, eating some when offered, looking to the boy. "You get your fill sir? You always don't eat enough." she said firmly, watching him.
"So you know him?" one asked.
"Yes I do know him. He's nice and a stubborn as mule." She said nodding and they listened as she started to tell a story of him before.

The boy sighed watching her. "Yes I got enough to sustain me." He growled softly. "I don't eat my fill of others food to make sure they have enough for themselves. That is all because it is hard for humans to make enough to fill me up without going through 3 years worth of rations in one meal Lita."
The boy said grunting a little giving a funny look to Lita. Tending to Olira making sure she had her food as well. having unhooked the cart and stuff from her. Letting her run about playing. She tackled him as he was running with her rather large toy ball that rolled away a little bit.
The boy wrestled with the two headed playful and still larger then normal puppy. Then she must have gotten too playful. "Hey hey no biting and chewing." The boy said tapping her on the nose's.

"Oh yes you are a bottomless pit, I forgot. Thank you for reminding me." she said laughing eating what she wanted and stood moving over and watched the boy play, smirking seeing him play with the wolf puppy of two heads. "I'm so glad you still have Olira." She said smirking and watched them play.

"Me too though she was at the first lodge I have built along this road but she did once get effected by corruption. had to remove with grimm... plah! Olira you sneak!" He said having gotten french kissed by Olira or at least similar to it from her licking the inside of his mouth.
The boy dove under Olira and picked her up off the ground holding her up over his head with one hand tickling Olira's belly. making her yip playfully and squirm from the tickling until she put her feet on the ground and stood up to get away and ran grabbing her ball and tossed it in the air chasing it to catch it.
"Well if everyone's ready. I will grab the main door key." He said walking over standing by the hand cart that grimlord the massive blade was carried on as he watched everyone.

The six finished eating, geting things cleaned up and when he said that they stood, nodding having all picked up, one closing upthe umbrealla and putting it away fafter shrining it back down. "Ready" they said excited to get going moving forwards as a couple moved to grab the cart to bring the sword along.
"So.....tell me, if you aren't human then what are you? Are you with the sky people race?" one asked approaching the boy with eyes wide and wonder if he was and if he was he had so many questions for the boy if he said yes to being one of he sky people.

The boy smirked and tilted his head letting a few pull the cart towards the tower. "Maybe I am, Maybe i'm not." The boy teased laughing a bit.
"Only time will tell. Come on we should get into that main chamber before sunset." He said leading the way Olira following behind as if guarding the back of the group. Knowing he'd probably get scolded by Lita for teasing the human.

Lita glared at him not liking how he taunted the human to fuel their curiosity about him and their wanting to know. Rolling her eyes she sighed shaking her head. "Oh you are going to get a chewing out later, you know that right?" She asked walking beside the boy, glaring.
"You know she'd never condone the teasing of humans." she muttered to him as the group followed bringing the cart with sword along wanting to get inside to take pictures and look around.

"I know but think about this." He looked up at the sky seeing it growing darker the closer they get to the tower. "If I said I was it would be night fall before we could get into the tower where we can be safe for the night. She can forgive the teasing because it was done to keep them safe."
As they got to the bridge it was like a hovering stone bridge held up by a mysterious power. In the distance there was the call of screeching fiends creatures that flew between day and night. a warning night time was a few hours away. Approaching the door there seemed to be an odd pillar shaped door adornments in the middle it held an odd looking ruby filled with blackness and cloudy looking.
"Ah here we are." The boy said "And this gem locks the doors by being filled with corruption, This is why this sword is the key." the boy said walking to the back of the cart grabbing the handle of the sword picking it up like it weighed nothing to him at all. Then he roared after unsheathing it the blade glowing brightly as he dashed towards the door piercing the ruby. the sword absorbed the ruby as well as the corruption and the doors swung open.
The boy placing the sword on his shoulder walked in slowly glancing around. "Welcome to the tower of the ruby sky." The boy said and smirked turning to watch the group. "Well you coming or yo gonna just stand there with your mouths gaping open and wait for the screamer bats to carry you to the nests to feed you to their young? bring the cart in too." The boy said his eyes glowing like rubies as he stood there holding Grimlord on his shoulder.
