I have to agree with you on that. I am, luckily on a rather new laptop because going to university while leaving highschool with honours meant that I could wrestle my father in giving me something than a piece of crap that would only do office software smile More expensive? Yes. Did I really have the money for it? No. Does it matter?

Considering I'm gonna be in a hole for a good few years without any chance of it getting shallower rather than deeper? No.

Anyways, on our old desktop the newer version of Gaia takes roughly an entire two minutes to load before it can run smoothly? And if you accidentally hit close? Open it back up and wait buddy.

It takes up waay to much ram, and I wouldn't mind if it somehow contributed to the overall functionality of the site as a whole, but it doesn't, so it just annoys me.

I really wish my body and the weather would reach some sort of agreement... This falling asleep at or three in the morning, waking up at five or six, and then sweating all day sitting still sucks.

It just makes me cranky, and gives me a headache mid day.

In other news, crappy uncomfortable weather with my room too hot, has made me re-discover my love for boxers... best pj shorts ever

@Akai, Ha! Yeah, most likely. That month, month in a half in the spring, and then again in the fall, of transitioning between major seasons always kick my a**. -- By my birthday I'll be fine of course, until then, I'm miserable like I caught some sort of virus.


Now then, to catch up with the ooc chatter.......

My current PC is, at best guess, at most six to seven years old. However, its actually a slapped together-Ihopethisworks- pc that was built using parts people would give, so its only really a month old xD

The PC this one replaced last month? Nearly 12 years old. --- It could run gaia.... but only if I turned the various bells and what have you off on the site. - Turning off the footer will do wonders. You loose the chat... but you would be amazed at the difference either switching to the old footer bar or outright turning the damn thing off will make.

Jehui: Woman have been viewed as sex objects or simple property for hundreds and thousands of years sadly. -- And while American society has come along ways in terms of women's rights.. the fairer sex is still highly sexualized. -- Its why silly things, like women not being allowed to go topless outside in public like their male counter parts - is law. --- Its also sadly way people will point the finger at the women when she is sexually assaulted or raped, blaming her for what happened. Its also why people will believe the woman is at fault in such cases.

This is one of those topics that could be discussed up and down for days, more so if you bring historical references into it, or start looking at the treatment of women in various cultures or societies through out history.
