I really try hard not to get classified as magic user, mostly cause the creation of said fire has an organic origin..
Well, isn't it that the origin of the fire is biochemical, while the manipulation of it is a magic/psionic elemental control?

There was always the talk between me and Max, how he doesn't blow up when stabbed and bleeding through his body.
Just attributed it to wilingly and consciously releasing the 'chain reaction' necessary to make the blood ignite upon contact with oxygen.
Blood carries oxygen in it, though the oxygen is carried in hemoglobin cells (red blood cells) after being absorbed through the lining of the lungs.
...though I really got nothin' as for why he wouldn't light up like a pyre.

So what's the deal with the negative/positive energy?
Generally, positive energy refers to your generic energy of life. Used largely for healing and buffing, or attacking undead, since it reinforces life and bodily energy.
Negative energy is the opposite, un-life. Not death, death is the absence of these energies. Undead are animated by negative energy, and are harmed by positive energy; however they absorb negative energy just like living things absorb positive energy. Used for attacking living things, negative energy generally drains life and bodily energy, causes curses, contagions, other things like that...
Basically it's life and anti-life energy.
I'm rambling because I have 2 pages of bio on this prepped for HoH.
Kraun
In falls into the arcane category, but it would a supernatural abilty rather than magic or spell-like ability methinks.
Man, I should probably go back and write some stuff for the other three things since they're lacking in description and all that.
Yeah, what've you got in there?
Arcane - being specific energy types.
Divine - being spiritual energy.
Psionic - being mental energy.
Chi/Ki - being bodily energy.
Those, I think, cover all your basic energy types. As for how they are manifested, you'd have:
Natural - physical, chemical, electrical, so forth.
Magical - powered by the manipulation of energy (usually arcane or divine).
Supernatural - deviating from natural law through means of manipulation of energy (usually psionic or chi/ki).
Spell-like - Psionic or Chi/Ki abilities that simulate Arcane/Divine effects.
...the only one of which that wouldn't be affected by 'anti-magic' would be the natural. Meaning that an anti-magic thing could stop Mr. Tomorrow who apparently generates incredible ammounts of electricity as a supernatural (chi/ki?) ability, but not an electric eel since it has a bodily organ that produces electricity naturally...
Electricity from the hands? Oh man... a long time ago, there was this kid, who opened up a 'how to roleplay' thread despite being rather ignorant himself. Soon after he became my loyal minion, and I rewrote his character's bio to include natural explanations for most everything he had in there, including his 'shoots electricity' thing. That took a bit of work. I had to write in insulators, grounding wires, secretion glands, and a number of things... and then teach him about conductivity, electromagnetism, and grounding.
Basically I wrote him in a spiderman-esque gland on the wrist that squirted sweat (saltwater, an alkaline, very conductive) so that the electricity fired from the hands would bunny-hop on the squirt instead of arcing back at him or just shooting to the ground.
