"Wait, you're not Reds... Want to join me in my game then?!" I say cheerfully, something that seems bizare from one of my stature.

"Oh, so friend, and one with the same enemy to boot! Yes, I'm planning out my approach in this little battle of minds. Mind keeping it down, though? We don't want them to spot us." I say in a low voice, summoning my bow, though holding it in a fashion that's clearly not hostile toward our new visitor.

Everyone except Willow: "What was that?" a swordsman says to his fellow guards. He clearly heard Sand-Claw. However, the others just shrug and go back to their idle chatter.

As soon as the dracotaur claims she's on our side, I quickly spin back around to make sure the guards do nothing more than notice the sound... I wanted to shush this girl terribly, but I would just sit by and let Layla do what she does best...

I bristle in alarm as I hear that the guards had heard this new... creature that had stumbled upon us. I leap at the creature while hissing a "SSHHH!" and attempt to clamp her mouth shut.

Nyx: You manage to grab onto her muzzle. While not a perfect grip, it should do for the moment.
Sand-Claw: The tora-mimi grabs your muzzle and clamp it shut. However, it's not a perfect grip. And considering that she's danging off of the ground due to her being roughly average height, you could probably knock her off pretty easily.

As I dangle there, I hiss, "Could you do us a favor and try to be quiet for a few? We are currently spying on that campsite because one of our allies seems to have betrayed us. Thus, we are trying to deduce if she really has betrayed us or if it's a ploy of hers to help us from the inside."

I smile and almost chuckle at the rather playful arrival of the dragontaur, then compose myself again to focus on the camp. "Why do you want to kill so fast, Mazurn? Just curious..." I say somewhat shyly, wanting to throw embers at the camp myself.

"That would depend on how bored I am, but in general rather quickly" Willow hoped that the others were not trying to interfere, she would prefer not to have to fight them.

I do facepalm similar to Captain Picard, seeing as Nyx's actions are probably just as likely, if not more likely to draw the Red's attention. The sounds of the camp could at least drown out some sound, but her dangling and fighting with Sand-Claw is distracting movement, and our new ally currently lacks the same cover that the rest of our party enjoys. I don't really bother saying anything, though, not wanting to make a situation to make an even bigger distraction. I nock and arrow, but hold my bow low and crouch under the edge of the trench. "Heh, I go from sitting in an estate to raiding a camp, my parents would be so proud." I whisper sarcastically.

I pull her off, and set her back on the ground. "I'm not going to ruin you're stealth," I say in a hushed tone. "I'm going to ruin mine!" Then I rush to the camp of Reds, yelling "Let's see how far I can kick you!"

Everyone: The moment Sand-Claw cries out her last sentence, the Reds turn to her and prepare to fight. Several of them rush at her.
Willow: "Sounds like we have guests," the general says. "Show me what you can do." He gestures to the tent's entrance.
Sand-Claw: The Reds try rushing you with weapons drawn. What do you do?

"As you wish" bowing once more, she turned and walked out of the tent, her scythe already unsheated and at the ready.

I peer up ever so slightly from the trench, barely enough for me to aim my shot. I look for the nearest mage to target as my quarry. I draw back the string, taking in a deep breath through my nose and hold it to steady my hands.

Okay, before I do anything else, I need to say this: when you perform an action, I will usually let the players decide if it's something that the GM needs to post to or not. If it involves inter-player physical contact, the GM usually does not need to post for it. However, if it is an aggressive action, I wish for the other player(s) to wait for me to post. Now, I use dice for major things. If you're performing an action that could have multiple outcomes (trying to seduce and NPC, trying to pickpocket an NPC, etc.) are left up to a D20 (20-sided die). Thus you have an equal chance of success and failure as anyone else. However, there are certain things will modify what you roll. For example, if you're trying to seduce an NPC, and you make a particularly witty comment, I will give you a bonus to your roll. Certain actions will be given a bonus based on your profession (I have not been doing this before, but I need to start). Also, aggressive actions towards players will receive an immediate critical fail (equivalent to rolling a 1 on a D20), unless the player being aggressive and/or the target player is explicitly against the party at the time (i.e., the aggressor is working with the Red Army).
During combat, everything is done with dice. The average turn looks like this: 1. D20 for player attempting an action 2. D20 for target (if applicable) 3. Highest of the above two moves first 4. D20 for level of success/failure of first-mover 5. D20 for efficiency of blocking/dodging (for second-mover) 6. If the first-mover's attack hits: D% (two types of D10 rolled together to get a percent from 0 to 100) 7. If D% roll would put second-mover over their maximum health, roll D6 to see if second-mover survives 8. If D6 roll is 1-3, they die; if D6 is 4-6, they live 9. Repeat steps 4-8 for second-mover, if still alive
I have been 100 health for every combatant (both player and NPC) up to this point. I will be fixing this soon so that health is based on profession, not a single number. Also, from now on, I will be giving armor bonuses (I should've been doing this from the start, but I have neglected to do so). Also, ranged attacks lose power as they travel (i.e., they are most effective at the point of origin).
As you can tell, this system is flawed. But, the kinks ARE being worked out over time. Any suggestions you can give me are welcome. Not all ideas will be implemented, but I will consider all of them.
