Vandal Savage brushed himself off a bit, and held out his arm again, smiling. "Now, where were we?"

Vandal replied as he began leading her there, "Ah, yes. Come, Sapphire. Let's go get those rooms. Or will it be room, after all?" His voice sounded like he was merely asking for information than actually implying that anything would happen.

Spoiler smiled at him but that soon melted as she was consured at her dark night. She held tight to him and when he toppled over she quickly moved to her feet. She rubbed his back. "Bats...we need to get you somewhere you can heal...and you can't go by yourself." She said gently she pulled down her hood to get a better view at him. It reveild a mask covered face and head with white eyes. "You have buises, concusion, and a bunch of other things." Spoiler bent down next to him and rubbed his back a bit more. "Just tell me where you want to go...or I can think of a place..." She looked at him. She knew there was an old abandoned furnished appartment a few blocks up. It was an old druggies who had just gotten taken in. She had read it on the list of crimes earlier. She looked at him still consurned. "There is somewhere close if you trust me to take care of you."

Stephanie didn't waist time she scooped him up in her arm. "Stay awake but rest..." She said very quietly. She walked tenatively as she made her way in the ally down a few blocks and then up a fire escape. She checked on the boy in her arm almost constantly as she went. She was a little more worried about him then her own safety. She wasn't sure if that was good or bad. Stephanie Brown put the boy down. "I'll be right back..." She pryed the window open and then moved in quietly. She turned on the heat vision goggles and checked the room and the rest of the appartment. She locked the door and then moved back to the fire escape. "Bat's its all clear...come on in...the couch should be clean..." She said gently again as she offered his help into the building through the window.

Stephanie watched him a momment then moved back to the kitchen. She pulled out some ice and a towel and wrapped the ice carefully. She moved out to look at the boy again. She knew how much Tim had covated his identity and how much batman had wanted to keep everyone's identity from her so she wasn't sure what she could and couldn't do. She moved and sat down on the coffee table. She looked at the boy and moved her hand to his head. "Bats...umm...I want to help and I promice...if you had a mask on that covered your eyes could I...I just don't know how to tend to your wounds without...well taking off your suit. You might need stitches and you really need to keep ice on your head to decrease swelling...I...I just..." She got up leaving the ice on the table wrapped in a towel. "I'll...go make you a makeshift mask or something and...I...I'm not a doctor but I worked with one...well for a few years...practically a nurse...I'm sorry...I guess I am talking to much..." She got up slowly and started to move into the other room looking back at him. She figured that it might help him feel more comfortable with the idea if she too came out of her costume some. But she wasn't sure she wanted to annouce that she Stephanie was alive just yet, so hence the delema.

Terry actually agreed with her on that last point, but it was understandable; she was a nervous wreck, and had every right to be. He wasn't sure how he felt about taking off the suit, but she was right about one thing: it would be difficult to ascertain the extent of his injuries with it on. Fortunately or unfortunately, he didn't have long to worry about it. His exhausted, battered body only allowed him to stay awake a few more moments.

((Wow. He is going to feel SOOOO guilty when he finds out that she was ignoring her arm in favor of his stuff. ^_^))

Stephanie had just finished addressing her wounds as she saw the first light of day. She moved back into the bedroom. She found a shirt and some gym shorts. She went to the bathroom and cleaned her face and changed. She looked at her cut arm. She should stitch that up. She cleaned it over the sink making a light pink thread to the drain. She shook her head. "Be careful I told myself..." She pulled out some new thread for stitches and slowly and carefully used the mirror to stich up her arm. The day light made it easier. She was happy that she had found candles and small lights to work on the bat the night before. She didn't want to attract attention so she had to keep the light down to a minimal. She finished stitching it up and put some gause over it with some tape. She moved one last time to the kitchen and got a glass for water. He would need some when he awoke. She had totally forgot in her exaustion that she had taken off her mask and just curled up on the chair near the couch. She watched him sleep a little and then curled up tighter and driffed off to sleep as the light came in the window like sand through her fingers.
