As promised, when Jelena woke up the next morning, there was James, sitting ina chainr by her bed, and a tray setup over her with eggs, toast, hashbrowns nad a glass of milk and one of orange juice, as he didn't know which she might prefer, with little umbrellas in it.
"Morning, Jelena. How'd you sleep?"
And yes, her camera was plugged back in.
"As promised, breakfast in bed."

Well her first initial reaction to waking up with someone in her room and with breakfast was pretty much shock...and sleepy slow response shock but none the less. Hair was in chaos, looked like she'd been up all night, and for some strange reason, she had her OODDS on. A stretch as she sat up some, looking over the breakfast that he promise.
"Morning James...I see you're a man of your word...then again you always were." Of course she wasted no time at having a go at that breakfast at all. Hell it was good to eat something filling in the morning...meant she wasn't practically starving by noon. "I slept off and on. Arm was bothering me a little, mind wouldn't shut up some...but I think I got a good five hours at least. But I see you've been up bright and early as usual."

"Actually, I haven't slept yet. I've been busy making certian preperations and making sure certain upgrades are still available at notice. and why are you wearing your OODDS to bed with you? and how's your arm feeling now?"
He leaned bakc in his seat, and gave a small yawn.
"and how's breakfast?"

"And you harp on me about things when you don't sleep." A yawn between bites and then a lazy smile to him then she looked through her OODDS more as if she was looking at them than through them. "Oh...I was doing some inventing before bed..." Then another smile and a look back to him. "My arm is considerable better in the pain area than yesterday and as most of your cooking as I have thus experience, breakfast is wonderful." And already more than half gone in all aspects.

"Good to hear, and thanks. we'll get that taken off yo today, get you fixed up good as new. So what kind of experimenting were you doing? creating more echoes before bedtime? and you know, you coudl trust me a littel more than unplugging your camera. I noticed that when I came in."
A small smile.
"So what else is on your agenda today, Jelena? anything interesting an old soldier can help with?"

"Yay good as new." Lack of enthusiasm in the statement but that was because she was still kind of tired. "Nothing on Echoes, as I mentioned I've been working on my OODDS to update the entire little system. Last night I tired to eliminate the connection cord from the equation and make them wireless."
Jelena finished off her breakfast and stretched again. "And who says I unplugged my camera because of you. I told you before, I always like to unplug it or tape it up. Somebody watching you sleep on camera isn't even close to my idea of fun." Pushing the tray away she pulled herself from bed and got some clothes from her dresser, proceeding to the bathroom to change. Didn't stop conversation through the cracked door though. "I haven't really mapped out my day...depends on what havoc is already underway and what happened yesterday...I haven't gotten a chance to look over the logs of yesterday."

Oh he was tempted to open that door. but he didn't, instead picking up and lcearing her tray off, cleaning up and talking to the door.
"I see. how did your luck run trying to make your OODDS wireless? succeed or not quite there yet?"
He cleaned everything up, picked up clothes that were strewn around, and remade her bed, things to keep the temptation from opening that door on her at bay.
"And how far along is Cerebus?"

And the door slid open, Jelena dressed in usual attire and today her lab vest as well, because she fully intended to get back to work now didn't she? "Well...I ended up blowing a circuit or two...right now they're just plain old glasses I guess." Yes and that was a punch to her pride right there...but that's what she got for working on them so late at night wasn't it.
Though she blinked at her room...James had somewhat cleaned it. The state of things being cleaned never ceased to amaze her, but that was typical seeing as she never cleaned anything herself. Another stretch from her. "Well I had that program run sent to the computer in the lab and it's probably self corrected a few things by now. Though I'll have to add new components in myself." She tilted her head at him. "Do you always feel the urge to clean my messes?"

"Not always. but it was something to keep the temptation of opening your door and seeing you undressing and getting redressed at bay. and it's a force of habit. Military living after all. you don't get alot of space, so if you want any space at all it has to be kept clean."
A shrug and a smile at her.
"Ready to get your cast taken off and back to work I see?"

A slight chuckle and a shake of her head from the doctor. Well, at least he was honest, right? "Yeah well, try not to give into the habit...or you'll be cleaning up forever...or until I mangle myself enough so that I don't have the capability to do so."
Jelena gave a nod and ran her hand through her hair. "Ready for sure. Lead the way oh Captain Clean." A snicker with that...oh good lord it was too early for jokes, why was she making them.

A small chuckle.
"If your going to use rank, it's Commander Clean. not Captian." and he led her out and through the halls, keepign close and coveniently covering her injured arm with hsi fram to avoid wandering eyes, and over to Meta, where the doctors looked at her arm, took off her casting, and gave her a nano shot.
"She'll be good as new in an hour. And James, your specifications were made, and the system is ready to go at a moment's notice."
James nodded, and thanked to doctors, reminding jessica that Rennell had an appointment today, but he wasn't going to drag him down he wanted to see if he'd remember and keep his promise.
"Back to your labs, Jelena? think Erik is up yet?"

"Excuse me, Commander." A short trip to Ingenuity indeed to get her arm seen and yet another nano shot. Good lord...this was probably the most full of the little things that she had been in a while.
But she thanked the doctors as well, after all they were keeping this all secret for her and she rubbed at her arm a moment before she looked back to James. A raised eyebrow at whatever system they were talking about but she didn't ask...she didn't like sticking her nose into other projects really.
"Indeed, back to the labs. And Erik is always up before me, that's for sure." So she lead him back across ships to her office...which was still a mess from the previous night, and Erik was indeed up, having already unlocked the project and gotten things in gear. "See, he's efficient."

Rosey tugged at her ear just a moment and flicked her tail before slipping her feet into her usual sandals, tugging her plain shirt down some, and moving to her door to walk quietly out of it. She had not checked on the progress of her special project that Jelena had been working on in a while, so her first destination was naturally the doctor's office. On her way there she was surprised to not see Rennell anywhere, or to miss his voice shouting random things down the hall. It was quiet when not in his presence, even with people working, or living on the station. They were normally quiet. Strange observation.
Having made her way to the office, she found James with Jelena, strange also how much time he had been spending with her. With the small clearing of her throat and her concentration going to her toes she spoke softly, "Hello, how are you two?"

"Sometimes."
A small grin, takign a look around, adn while he was at it, straightening up Jelena's mess, and checking her computer. his bioware hand moved at incredible pace, screens flashing by, before it went back to her testings...then a plug in, and a second later, all her backlogs from the previous evening were displayed.
"Erik, you need any help in there with the Echoes, or have they eaten you yet?"

Jelena turned her attention to the ever overly shy Roselyn. "Why hello Rosey, just the girl I wanted to see here lately. I'm doing well, all things and mishaps considered, and yourself?" Though she cast a look to James who was busy doing things with her computer and took a walk over, clicking some keys to send everything he had brought up to her own back lab.
Then she stepped back over to Rosey. "By the way, that Echo that you wanted, it's done. I've been keeping it back where I keep Tempest to cut down on the exposure it would have. I wanted it to be used to mostly me and you." A gesture. "Follow me, James you coming?" Didn't wait for that answer really, just PAID her way back.
Erik only gave James a flat look as he came out of the back zone, passing Jelena and Rosey on the way. "I have got things under control today, thank you James. Please don't concern yourself with me." A little mocking tone...okay Erik didn't get much sleep and was a bit grumpy.
