unique views and clicks can only come once from a ip adress... views are just how many times the thing has been clicked and unique views will kinda tell you how many computers looked at your dragon

The views are what matters when getting dragons hatched. The more VIEWS you have, the better. The ratio between Unique Views and Views is what makes them hatch.
Thus: You don't need clicks.
You can just post up the image of your egg to get views.
Refreshing scrolls time and time again to get up the views WILL work to help hatch them.
And Unique Views are great. -They also increase with viewing scrolls I believe- (A new computer -or IP address if it changes for you- viewing the egg is one unique view)

clicking on the scroll would do nothing...they haf to click view on your dragon... but yes if they have never seen it before it will add a unique view
