Do you know what's wrong with it?
If it's a mother board.
Then yeah.
You'll have to buy a whole new laptop.
The cost for a new mother board is close to a new laptop. Still haven't been able to figure out anything beyond that it's a problem with the hard disk, and my dad is apparently too busy to help me emotion_donotwant

Amu Tsukiyomi-sama .....but...that makes it sound like you do almost nothing but be on your laptop.... True. Then I'd never have gotten a "trainee water faerie badge"....though how you can be a trainee when it's something you're born with is beyond me... Which....was anyone else ever a "trainee" anything? *curious* Well, that's not true, I was around it a lot but I still did other things, don't worry, I'm not completely addicted xd I just treated it very well because, again, I used it for my art so it was very special to me and I wanted to keep it intact emotion_yatta Well, even those born with powers have to gain proper control over them, training is something everyone will have to go through in order to get better at using their powers... Unless you go the Nanzzy way and approach shady figures for extra, new powers instead of improving the ones you have... Wouldn't recommend that though emotion_awesome And yes, besides you, there's other trainees; there's Auri, training magic in general, WifWolf, angel imp/healer in training, Sab, training wind powers, Nanzzy herself, who is still trying to get the hang of earth magic; basically most of us are still in training because you never stop learning until the day you die emotion_yatta (or in here, even after you die xD)

If it's a mother board.
Then yeah.
You'll have to buy a whole new laptop.

Nothing would turn on. It would be toasted. If the screen, fan turns on. Then maybe a part can be replaced.  I'm sorry. To hear that. In some ways. I know. How you feel.

I know. How you feel. It does still turn on, so that can't be the problem... It won't boot windows, but with the installation cd from my dad we could at least boot mini windows xp... In the worst case, if we really can't find the problem, I'll copy all files that aren't on the back-up yet from my laptop, and then just re-format it completely >.<

Seriously, something went wrong, an entire species went into disarray and had to hide underground from then on? Of course there's a vampire involved emotion_donotwant I'm so glad I chose the side of the dark elves, it's about time we teach those damn treacherous vampires a lesson emotion_eyebrow
