Of course now that I sold my electric I have found the inspiration to play heavily distorted guitar, my acoustic just ain't cutting it for the moment. Such is the way of life I suppose.

Good grief. Finally did the survey. Rather unimpressed by some of the options in the questions - or lack thereof. Overall, not that good, in my (usually wrong whee ) opinion

Violet Song jat Shariff Does anyone know of any Pagan groups/traditions that actively pray to angels? Also, does anyone know if there is any validity to the idea of angels being rooted in Paganism? Possibly in pre-Jewish traditions but angels as far as I know started in Judaism.

rmcdra Violet Song jat Shariff Does anyone know of any Pagan groups/traditions that actively pray to angels? Also, does anyone know if there is any validity to the idea of angels being rooted in Paganism? Possibly in pre-Jewish traditions but angels as far as I know started in Judaism. Pre-Jewish traditions still practiced today? Someone in another guild said: Quote: interestingly enough, alot of Wiccans/Pagans pray to the Archangels as well. smile as do (obviously) Gnostic Ocultists. and Quote: in fact, the belief in Angels started off among Pagan traditions in teh first place. And save for the Gnostic Occultists part, it struck me as...weird. I'm partly wondering if he/she is equating beings like the valkyrie with angels.

Violet Song jat Shariff I'm partly wondering if he/she is equating beings like the valkyrie with angels. I hope not, that's rather disrespectful and historically incorrect. I think there isn't any pre-Jewish religions practiced today. I'm sure someone here might correct me on that. Edit: Correction

rmcdra Violet Song jat Shariff I'm partly wondering if he/she is equating beings like the valkyrie with angels. I hope not, that's rather disrespectful and historically incorrect. I don't know of any pre-Jewish Religion practiced today, unless you count Babylonian reconstructed religions. Though if Babylonians pre-dates Judaism, I'm not sure on. I don't think the person in question realizes that, or actually cares. I don't know him very well, but he strikes me as being of a sort of fluffy bent. I am unsure on that as well sad He said he was going to find me at least one citation out of whatever books and encyclopedias he has though. For what that will be worth.

okay, feeling on a downswing now, don't really mind, but I'm no good as company. I will be scarce, as I have been for the past few days for awhile, likely. The twin ailments of low self worth and lack of motivation are a bit much for me right now, at least, too much for me to juggle and try to keep civil online. But I'm not entirely useless: Violet Song jat Shariff Does anyone know of any Pagan groups/traditions that actively pray to angels? -attempts to yawn as she walks into the thread-
ARGH. I came back from school exhausted, and took a nap. I woke up around two to three hours ago, and I can't take Benadryl because I have to wake up at four, and it's 23:30 already. x_x
Does anyone have tips on how to fall asleep quickly w/o the use of legal drugs? XD

We get to go look at a house on Saturday. I'm already half in love with it from the pictures. It deffinatly needs work, but it's on 2.5 acers heart on a culdasac heart . The realtor said that it had been cited by the city for the paint , we'd change that anyways, and that there may be mold eek . We'll see, I don't think we'll find another house in our price range with that much land.

Well, since the fire we decided that we didn't want to rent anymore. So we're looking to buy a house. Best part his parents are giving us $10,000 for a down payment heart My in-laws are awesome. And his mom is letting us stay at her house, with all of our pets, until we find our own place RENT FREE. We help out with the yard and house work and buy the groceries. She's also using me to help her get a dog. I get to drive an hour and a half with her to meet with the rescue group and meet dogs they think will match well with her.
