Hehe, no offense taken.
Though the language is English and so am I, so razz
lol, jk-ish. The ish is because it is the English language, so I'm not lying about that part, but the jk is because I'm not too bothered in actuality. Though it irritates me when Americans (not all Americans, just a very small minority) imply that they invented the language stare
EDIT: That last part is an edit, just so you know...

Meh. Language confuses me anyway. I understand it, but what I don't understand is how did a lot of words end up having the 'u' dropped in the states? I mean: colour became color, honour became honor, etc. A lot of Americans argue that it's easier to grasp than a "random" 'u' being in the word, but to me, it doesn't look right. Then again, to you, it won't look right with the 'u' in, so I guess my point is moot lol
Mind you, whenever I see "color" I think of the Spanish word (which also means colour, so it doesn't really make any difference), which is pronounced coll-ore. I think that's just me though (including the entire United Kingdom xd )

Language is one of my favorite things to argue about because nobody is right. Slang dictates that razz
Though one amusing thing I heard was someone else on gaia I've been talking to (an American) spells words in the English way. When she got wrong off her teacher, she furiously argued "This is an English class! English! Do you see the word American on the wall? No! That's because it is an English class! Therefore I am right to spell it that way!"

Lol. I remember once at a meeting during recall, I was speaking Spanish and then one of the officers yelled at me to speak American, so I continued to speak Spanish. Lol.
