TeaDidikai Collowrath Ah. Oh well. Maybe it will serve as an example and she'll change her behavior. Not likely. She won't equate being a thief with indulging racism. I swear, someone should make road signs. "Hey Loser, What part of how equating a culture to swindling is offensive don't you get? Signed, Reasonable People."

"But I don't care about the history of the word or how offensive it is to those people! It's not how I'm using it and everyone should adopt my cultural understanding and ignore the hundreds of years of hate and murder!"

As if it's possible to use a word independently of its cultural context? Yeah, that kinda makes no sense. neutral

If all those who missuse a word lose the ability to speak, whether thru injury or trauma, malignancy or misadventure... then would the word finally be laid to rest? ninja

Fiddlers Green If all those who missuse a word lose the ability to speak, whether thru injury or trauma, malignancy or misadventure... then would the word finally be laid to rest? ninja No. Firstly, violence is not an option I like, but aside from that, as long as it exists within the minds of others, of the minds of people, it shall exist. Further, even if you were to strike out the word from the mouths and minds of all those people, there would still exist racism.

More like a dynamic shift in mankind's paradigm. And I take things a bit too seriously, of course. ninja
